This is my favourite TV show aand I'd even claim its the best TV show ever.

It has a wonderful cast Tom Skerritt, Kathy Baker, Lauren Holly and Don Cheadle and the great Ray Walston as well as (then) newcomer Holly Marie Combs (Piper from Charmed).

The stories are the best part - a mixture of comedy, drama, emotion, political and legal debate, all of which takes place in a small town.

The first season, now on DVD, had some great episodes - a woman killed her husband with a steam roller and then claimed it was Menopaus, a killing nun visited the town, a womans life was saved by a pig, an Indian tribe declared war on the town ... you really have to see them.

I really suggest buying the DVD, its only around $30, or if you're in the US, you can download episodes from Amazon: Amazon Unbox, everybody else can view a clip at Amazon Unbox of each Season 1 episode, here are a few I mentioned:

Indian War

The clips look good, I hear its from the creator of Ally McBeal and Boston Legal so I might check it out.

For all those with Sky in the UK, the show is airing again on the new channel DIVA TV (282), it airs at 6AM and 2PM week daily.
