Roseanne
Roseanne is one of the my favourite shows and of course it also stars Johnny Galecki, Leonard from The Big Bang Theory!

Who else here likes the show?

----

I've been collecting the DVDs for a while, I actually got one for free from Anchor Bay which was very good - it actually tempted me to buy the other seasons, so I guess their competition did work to make them some money Big Grin

RE: Roseanne
They have only released the first 3 in the U.K., which aren't the greatest seasons, but they might be releasing more later ... I've had to import them from the U.S.

Season 1 also featured cut down episodes, about 2 minutes of content missing on each episode.

RE: Roseanne
I own Seasons 5-8, they are the best in my opinion.

RE: Roseanne
I agree with CharmedOne. The episode "The Wedding", to me, was the last great show of that series.

RE: Roseanne
I just got the 9th season on DVD, while it is generally terrible, Roseanne fighting terrorists is an entertaining episode - I don't think you'd get away with doing that on TV these days.

RE: Roseanne
I think the show should have left on the high note that was Season 8, with Darlene's wedding and Dan's heart attack ... perhaps not knowing if he lived would have been an interesting way to end, of course in the finale of Season 9 we learnt he didn't really ...

RE: Roseanne
Roseanne is one of my favorite shows of all time. I loved it,until the series finale. I just watched it a couple of days ago because I got the season 9 dvd. And I hated the series finale. I cryed for hours. Sad

RE: Roseanne
I was watching an old Roseanne earlier. Season 4 I think. It was amazing how quickly David just suddenly appeared. He was in one episode and in the next one he was practically living in their house (that didn't happen until a season later), Dan & Roseanne did joke about it but it was so odd ...

RE: Roseanne
I always thought the story line was odd, David got to live in their house. I know his mum was violent towards him but it didn't feel right ... its one of those silly sitcom things.

Then again looking for reality in sitcoms is best done when drunk, Jackie was over at the house way too much too ... characters always have a way of being there when the cameras are rolling Tongue
