  1. I still watch the reruns. My wife never watched the show until last year. It's fun watching her enjoy the show as I did and still do.

  2. Yeah I know that was sarcasm! Totally agree And in a way the writers and producers kind of cheated us out of that moment after 12 years of supporting this show

  3. I would have too, but the writers mindset was totally on the Nobel mess with just a tad of time sprinkled on the others. Those episodes featuring those other scientists trying for the same Nobel were not needed. That time could have been used on the other cast members.

  4. Great news for her and all the people working with the project. Hopefully this will make her days a little bit brighter after Norman's death.

  5. They should have explored Penny's insecurities , her fears of not being a good mum , the Pop-Tart would have found the rights words to reassure her ( " hold your hand and do it with you " kind of thing). And i'm sorry but was it too much ask to see on screen the moment Lenny found out they were expecting or Penny teliing Leonard the news ?? I can picture them being two bluberring messes 😆😆 So many wasted opportunities. But hey, they have their smart and beautiful baby and i'm sure they are wonderful parents . Indeed there was enough drama with Shamy, no need for Lenny drama on top of i

  7. I just read about Norman's passing. Kaley seems really devastated. When she married Ryan she called Norman the love of her life. RIP Norman.

  8. She must be devastated. Norman was the light of her life Even named her production company after him. I guess in a way now he will live on in all her future projects RIP Norman

  10. You have made a complete list of wishes. All these months and I haven't come with anything to add. I just wish the writers didn't waste the whole Season 12 on Shamy's Nobel quest. The show, went out not with a bang, but a whimper. Of course, that's only my opinion.

  13. We've been well and truly shafted !!! Main female character of the show gets pregnant and we don't get to see her reaction when she finds out ?? Like what the h*ll ?? Im actually still upset about it ( I should maybe move on lol )

Also, Mary is invited to a party when she’s mistaken for a university student, and George Sr. helps Pastor Jeff set up a children’s nursery. Wallace Shawn, Melissa Peterman and Wyatt McClure guest star.

  15. Totally agree. Don't worry about a broken record, what you said was true. Season's 11 and 12 were Shamy specific and most were not needed.

  16. You know what. All through seven 11 i genuinely thought they were preparing us for a nice pregnancy arc for Lenny in season 12. 😂😂 And what did we get ?? A lot of crap. And i'm sorry if I sound like a broken record but how nice would it have been to see ON SCREEN Penny announcing her pregnancy to Leonard ?? Remember that scene with the gang's pre-trip meeting ? Totally useless , boring, unfunny moment. Replace it with Pennny telling Leonard the good news and you get a nice touching ( and knowing these two, most likely funny ) moment.

  17. Totally agree So many episodes were devoted to Shamy quest for the Nobel prize and even in season 11 most of the episodes dealt with Shamy planning their wedding. I still cannot get over having an episode about picking a wedding date!!! And as I suggested previously the scene in which Polly mentioned whereby Penny and Leonard hug after he admits he does not want to donate his sperm to Zack and Marissa, was the perfect time to expand that and have them discuss about having a child. But I guess the writers knew better

  18. Even with the focus on the Nobel quest nonsense , we could have had our beloved Lenny discussing babies at the kitchen island once in a while , i would have been totally okay with that.

  22. I totally agree. You have to remember that the writers were to busy with the Nobel nonsense. The writers, in my opinion, were trying to take the sting of Shamy breaking up by giving angst to Lenny. They couldn't let them be happy and enjoy their wedding.

  23. That is exactly what I saw when they hugged in that scene. The moment when Penny realized how much being a father meant to Leonard and hugged him to show how much she really loved him and his response showing his unparalleled love for her. And it is true the moment showed their unconditional and selfless love for each other. I really thought they would expand this scene and talk about actually having a baby. That was my disappointment in season 12. Yes The argument going to Las Vegas in their first wedding was totally unnecessary. They had a cliffhanger with Shamy and didn't need one

  24. oh i'm just as pissed off as you are , trust me!!! Lenny deserved so much more than the crap they were given!! I did like the Vegas wedding but i really wished we had seen their first kiss as husband and wife. It was too much to ask apparently. 😡

  25. I do agree, but there was too much wasted air time on the Shamy's Nobel run. Maybe because I'm a Lenny, I feel way too much time was wasted on the Shamy wedding planning. The other two weddings didn't include a whole season dedicated to their weddings. Lenny got two weddings and in both cases Sheldon hogged in either the wedding itself or caused problems for the gang trying t watch the first wedding from Las Vegas. It still upsets me that the writers ensured Sheldon got to interfere with Lenny's weddings, but the worst part of Shamy's was Kripke's singing at the end.

  27. To say season 12 was a disappointment would be quite an understatement. In saying that, it contains my favourite Lenny moment ever, their beautiful hug in 12*15. To me, it was the perfect answer to the bullshit question " how are these two together" etc. What we got to see in that moment was true unconditional love ( despite what the haters or a certain deluded crowd of fans think). Man , i wish i had found this forum sooner, i would have been able to share my passion for Lenny

  28. i've been rewatching season 6 a lot lately ( the best season for the Lenny lover in me ) , i may watch the whole thing one last time before it gets taken off Netflix UK at the end of the month even if there are quite a few episodes i can't bring myself to watch

  30. I watched this show faithfully, (fanatically?), for 12 seasons. Never missed an episode and watched them endlessly in reruns. Then, after the finale, I had no interest in watching for months. My enthusiasm was gone and it seemed there was no point in watching. The story was told and it was done. Eventually, I got to the point where I would watch if I happened upon an episode but I didn't really look for TBBT. This is still the case. In a way it seems similar to looking at photos, or video, of people who have passed away. I spent a lot of time with those characters but they are now history. I h

  31. There’s a few of us that continue to come here. I’ve continued to write fan fic. And I still watch it, repeats are on at 7 and 7:30 PM locally, and on TBS. while no longer as consuming as it once was, I’m still involved with it.
