  1. Hey thanks, Kelli, for mentioning this. I was just getting ready to post a link here for anyone who was interested in it. I appreciate the shout out. If anyone is interested, here's a link on YouTube for a film for Jim's birthday. Sorry I didn't get it posted here sooner. Kelli mentioned it though. Anyway, enjoy! https://youtu.be/3a0H51YHNBQ
  2. I look forward to reading it; it sounds lovely.
  3. Yeah, like he did in the first episode Bob Newhart appeared in when Jim raced up the stairs with the suitcase! I couldn't believe how fast he flew up those stairs! It cracks me up and amazes me every time I see that episode!
  4. I loved his hair that season, too! It's my favorite, especially in the second half of the season, and yes, into Season 6. No, you're not the only one! LOL! I'm sure we all agree with you!
  5. You all have probably discussed this by now, but I've just been able to get online here for the first time in a week; anyway, I just had to write that now I finally understand what everyone here has been talking about with Jim becoming more buff. I finally saw the evidence of this fact in last night's episode with the bath tub scene. Everything was broader; his upper arms, his shoulders, his back, across his chest. Gone was the scrawny chested-showing ribs-guy of Season 1, and in his place was the broad shouldered/broad chested man! Hooray!!! It was fantastic and very gratifying to see!
  6. That would be awesome! I would love to see them do an 11th season! Then they would be in a league with some other pretty legendary comedies that came before them and ended with an 11th season--M*A*S*H, Cheers, Fraser.
  7. I like that about her, too. It makes her more down to earth than a lot of celebrities. I don't understand that either. She is more than due for one! I'd love her to win in a year Jim wins, too, but if that doesn't happen, then I just want her to win period! It's well past time, in my book! Completely agree with you. It's hard to imagine anyone else in their roles. That was really, incredibly sweet. What a lovely person she is.
  8. He kind of did dance like that in one segment of that public service video he was in with the many character changes for standing up to cancer. Remember the one where he was dressed as a girl in one segment and was like a muscle man or something in another segment? He played all the parts, just about.
  9. Happy New Year, Mamallama, and to all the Big Bangers out there! LOL! All the best in 2015!!!
  10. This is a fantastic photo of them together! I love both their smiles and spirit in this pic. Cute. You have the cutest rhymes, Phantagrae! Yes, I would say he is the most relaxed on Craig’s show of any talk shows he has been interviewed on through the years; though he was pretty relaxed with Lauer, and it has been pretty relaxed on Letterman before, too. Still, he seemed most at home with Craig, so it is a shame that that on air relationship will end. I didn’t know Craig was going to have another talk show. I thought he was just going to do the game show full-time now.
  11. Me, too, Phantagrae, so don't feel bad; you are not alone!. I’ll be dealing in ancient artifacts until my last VCR burns out, and they no longer sell the machines or the tapes anywhere. I didn’t have time to set up the VCR for the TODAY interview, but I did manage to get most of Elf taped and Jim’s last appearance on Craig's show. I hope I have enough tape for the Paley show, not to mention the next half of the season of the show!
  12. Me too! That's awesome! So glad he danced for this one!
  13. I saw it last weekend. It is an extremely well made film, and I love Bale as an actor as well, so I could except him as Moses, but still the Charleton Heston/Yul Bryner version will always stand out in my mind as the best version for the sheer spectacle of it, of which Director Cecil B. Demille excelled in creating in his films.
  14. Definitely. He definitely has that same lanky frame as Jimmy Stewart, the height, the arms, and yes, the legs. so he certainly could move like Jimmy, as you said. The Shop Around the Corner is another of my fav Stewart films, though it's played much less often than It's a Wonderful Life. Jim would be perfect in a remake of it, and it has already been remade into Summertime with Judy Garland and Van Johnson, so another updated remake wouldn't hurt at all. They did another flash mob? Cool! Can't wait to see the video of it when it becomes available.
  15. I, too, could totally see him in any Jimmy Stewart role, Gorn. In fact, I just wrote the other day how much he reminded me of Jimmy Stewart in many ways, in that old Hollywood manner, and Jim does resemble him in part, you’re right. Someone mentioned on here months ago that they could see him in a remake of the Philadelphia Story. I’d like to see him in the Jimmy Stewart role in a remake of that film or even a remake film version of Harvey; however, while I enjoy seeing remakes, if they are done well, and though I’m sure he could totally pull off George Bailey in a remake of It’s a Wonderful Life, I hope that one never gets remade, as it’s my favorite Jimmy Stewart film, and I love it just the way it is. I don’t want to even think of that story without the original cast of Stewart, Donna Reed, Lionel Barrymore, Thomas Mitchell and the others. It's a classic, and I don’t think the classics should be touched. It’d be the equivalent of remaking the Big Bang Theory one day with an entirely different cast. Can you imagine that?! It would be very upsetting to fans everywhere!
  16. Those pics would have been perfect for the video I posted of favorite shots of her on YouTube.
  17. Yeah, except he doesn’t like Star Wars, and Sheldon most assuredly does.
  18. No kidding?! They better get their act together. They've been making quite a few mistakes lately then, it seems.
  19. I can't believe Mayim didn't get nominated! This is so upsetting. She just gets better with each season, in my opinion. I'll be glad if Jim and the show win, but I will still be disappointed that Mayim didn't get a nomination, very disappointed. I agree. I'll be some ticked if OITNB wins it! It irritates me every time I see it nominated in the category of comedy, on any award show! It's not right, that's for sure!
  20. I really believe that as well. In fact, he reminds me so much of a modern day Jimmy Stewart. I'm not sure why; possibly because they both played in versions of Harvey or just because they are both actors of the highest caliber, and of course, they are both adorable, even though Jimmy, sadly, is no longer with us. P.S. And it just occurred to me, that they are both Jims! I can't believe that didn't occur to me sooner! At any rate, I foresee a long, long career for our Jim of today, just the way Jimmy Stewart had a long career, as well.
  21. That’s funny! Good for Mayim. Another magazine like PEOPLE reported that Kirk Douglas was dead! Talk about misinformation!
  22. Well stated, Mamallama. I wonder, too, when people are going to stop mentioning it. After all, no one even knew his sexual orientation until he came out in 2012, and no one mentioned it before that, so why is it brought up continuously now?! It should be very old news by now; passe’ really, at this juncture.
  23. This would be so wonderful if his predictions came true! God, how I would love to see them all nominated and win--the show, Jim, AND Mayim! That would be so tremendous, truly!
  24. Yeah, me too! It only made me wish to see Sheldon and Amy have a real kiss again like on the train. I like the sound of the set-up for this stage show kiss though, too. I, too, felt as if I was there from all the great details provided here for us. Great job, girls, for remembering and relaying so much! Thank you! Glad you all had a fabulous time and had the chance to see Jim up close and personal!
