Things have changed a little since I first wrote that first post. It seems that now standby tickets are going up the next day around the same time (8:30, 9am) and they tend to be up for about an hour. Guaranteed are proving to be much more difficult to get, but they sometimes will put up a second (or even third) batch of tickets after 9 or 10 am on ticket release days. If you've got a particular day you want to go to, the best thing to do is just devote the morning to it. You can always ask for/enlist help from other members to try and get tickets. Doing it on your own can be almost impossible, but if you can scrounge up some people to help, the odds that one person will have success are pretty high. Also make sure that, if you do get the page to load and you're filling out the form, you're only putting one ticket at a time. If you try to request two or more tickets on the form, it will not work.

They tend to start letting in standby as soon as the guaranteed line is gone, which is typically around five pm. However, if they get through the line quickly, they could start letting in standby earlier than that. Anyone guaranteed that shows up after that basically gets to jump to the front of the standby line, but it's a variable how many seats will be available at that point. I think 4pm is a relatively safe bet, but obviously nothing is guaranteed.

They've been up for hours. I wonder if people just know the 200th is gonna be hard to get into and they're not even bothering with standby...

It's a blessing and a curse, honestly. This makes it easier to get tickets, but harder to know when it is that you can do so. They put up at least three different batches of guaranteed tickets for 2/9. One at the normal time, and then two more after 10am and close to eleven. Warner Brothers actually has WiFi but it's pretty crappy unless you're on the lot itself. I've sometimes gotten a good signal standing right outside the building on Olive, but obviously not ideal for sitting down at a computer.

That just means that if you show up late and they give your seat away to a standby ticketholder, you can't just wave your ticket and kick someone out to get your seat back. If you follow the rules on the ticket, you are basically guaranteed entry. They just have to cover their butts if something goes wrong, they don't want to make any promises and have people get angry. It is a guaranteed ticket in terms of guaranteed versus standby, but they just mean don't show up at 6 pm and claim you're guaranteed a seat. I'm not sure why tickets went up this early. Today would be 30 days before, so it should go up on Monday since they don't count weekends. Maybe they're doing that now? Does anyone know what time/day they went up, was it today (Sunday)? If so, maybe they're doing a strict 30 days before the taping and not bothering with weekdays anymore.

Weird, they normally only have two left come April.

Guaranteed tickets always go up at the same time on Monday mornings at about 8:30 am (with some variation) whenever it's 30 days before a taping. The first post has the dates listed for that if you want to check it out. Hope that helps!

Unfortunately no pattern and no strategy, although it looks like they go up Tuesday morning/day after guaranteeds. It's typically in the morning. It will probably never be before 8:30am PST, and typically no later than 12 or 1 pm PST, but sometimes they do go up in the atfernoon. But morning seems to be more common. I will always post in this thread when they're up, so if you want to subscribe hopefully you can get a good shot. Is there a particular day you're looking to get tickets for?
