  1. Watching season 1 now after not doing so in a couple years and while funny, still a little off from what the characters end up being. This was a strange episode in a sense. First off Penny is still being treated as the hot girl next door and kind of a ditz which is fine but now I remember why it took a while for her to grow on me. It was odd to see Sheldon willingly dance and offer Leonard advice too. And being against the idea of getting a cat since the role is reversed later and it's Sheldon that ends up filling the void of human contact with cats! There were funny moments in this episode but not a fav of mine.

  2. I used to make little fanart using Photobucket with Harry Potter and other fandoms back in the day. So happy I have the opportunity to do so again with a new one! Here are some I made. More on the way. :)

  3. Wow oh wow. I reached the end of season 7. Such a sad thought! But good to know I know everything that everyone else does. Anyway... very emotional episode. I understand where Sheldon's coming from. I don't do well with change. Any shift in my usual structure causes me to panic and overthink. And knowing the kind of person Sheldon is, all this change indeed is scary and the build up is too much. I just love how much Leonard does care about him, and Penny too. Out of everyone Leonard knows Sheldon very well can't do a lot on his own. He is an overgrown child in a man's body. The way he looks at the world he may run into trouble if left to his own devices for too long. So it was interesting and bittersweet when he allowed Sheldon to get a train to who-knows-where. Everyone has grown up and changed a great deal this season. I just can't wait to find out what happens come September! Of course Sheldon isn't written out of the show. For all we know he may decide to come back since the change is indeed too much. I really would love him and Amy to live together. She would be the only other person I'm sure he'd be able to live with. I'm happy Stewart at least has been able to get another job but was so shocked to see his store burned down. :(

Here's hoping to a promising future for everyone in September,

  4. Another great one. I love Stewart! My heart always goes out to the ones that others might find a little off-putting. Usually. lol. I'm always happy when he's in an episode, always has some great laughs. And Sheldon at his mother's house was a very interesting enjoyable part of the episode. I liked how Mary admitted to not being perfect and for her being with this man Ron is difficult. Hilarious of course that she was able to send Sheldon to his room. No matter how smart he may be, she is always able to get him to do something. :D Overall this episode showed great character growth for Sheldon. Admitting he loves his mother, feels hurt by what she did, but eventually talking things with her with very little put-downs or jokes. It's been so great to see him evolve over these 7 seasons. Also enjoyed the moments with Sheldon and Howard. We know the latter has struggled with Sheldon for years and they weren't very close but to realize Sheldon can't help being demanding and immune to proper human interaction is big on Howard's part. Having him talking things with Sheldon to get him to understand the situation was wonderful. :)

10/10 can't come up with any flaws atm.

  5. Great episode. I got all teary-eyed when Leonard showed Penny her new used car! So sweet. She's lucky to have him. :) And Howard and Sheldon bonding because of the scary turbulence. That scene was hard to watch! I only flew a few times in my life and the last time there was turbulence and it was one of the scariest things ever. Luckily the lights didn't go out like in this episode. But it sure brought back memories!

    9/10

  6. Ahhhh!! Shamy kissed!! I already knew they would but it was still so wonderful to see! Loved Sheldon leaning into it, signaling he liked it!  :dancer:  That was so amazing, I fangirled a little haha. Aside from the long-awaited kiss, great episode. A lady gave Raj her number! Ya! All around feel-good episode. 10/10

  7. As I've watched all the episodes I've seen a really annoying progression of unnecessary talk from Mrs. Walowitz. Howard has every right to talk back to her since she herself is extremely loud, rude, and wants people to feel sorry for her. Who honestly thinks their son wants to live with them forever? She had to have known he'd move out eventually. She guilt-trips Howard into doing things. I wish he didn't because he enables her to continue to be the loud-mouth bass she is to get her way. I'd be like 'listen lady, get off your lazy ass and do things yourself. And stop shouting for all the street to hear!' At first the banter between the two was funny but they got progressively more aggravating. I would have smothered his mother with a pillow long ago. She did a lousy job obviously of building a man who can do his own thing without worry of what she thinks. Sorry lady but I'm not falling for your self-pity. How did Howard live with her all these years??

  8. I love Amy. I identify a lot with her. Never being one of the 'pretty girls' growing up and to this day I've never dated anyone or kissed anyone. It makes me sad too, and I latch onto any special moment I have with others since I don't really have friends. A lot of what she says and does touches me since I know where she's coming from. Especially hard for me is I'm neither pretty nor smart, at least Amy has the latter going for her.

There were only 3 seasons with the original characters, 4 seasons with Amy and Bernadette. I think this speaks for the fandom as a whole that they love the way the show has turned to give Howard and Sheldon a woman in their lives. It just works. :)
