  1. I'm now leaning towards her having skipped some grades and finishing high school, maybe 14 or 15. Old enough to go to the prom, but not cool enough to get a date maybe. It might also explain her mother overprotectiveness when she was child - didn't want her hanging out with the older kids.
  2. Would that include the time spent studying to get her PhD in neurobiology or is that from she completed her studies? Also did skip any grades or was it normal schooling? It's never been said that I can recall.
  3. I don't think there's anything dark either, but I do find it strange that there's never been any indication she's even said anything to any of the gang about her father. It's like it's a taboo subject for her.
  4. Who Do You Think You Are?
  5. [ I'm glad you were able to find the solution and that it rarely happens now. It'd be funny, sweet and so cute to see Sheldon having to deal with it.
  6. That must have been scary. I don't how I would cope myself if I was in that situation. Any idea what caused the night terrors and now the sleepwalking?
  7. I’ve just done some quick research on night terrors and learned quite a few things. I assumed they were just really, really bad nightmares, but it seems they’re not. They’re episodes of screaming, intense fear and failing while still asleep and are often paired with sleepwalking. A person who has a nightmare will wake up and may remember details, but a person who has night terrors usually remains asleep. Also, a nightmare generally occur in the last half of the night, whereas night terrors occur in the first half of the night. Also a person might – Sit up in bed Scream or shout Kick and thrash Sweat, breathe heavily and have a racing pulse Be hard to awaken, but if awakened be confused Be inconsolable Stare wide-eyed Get out of bed and run around the house Engage in aggressive behaviour (more common in adults) That last one would explain the biting, but I have to admit my first thought on seeing the 'get of out bed and run around the house' was of a naked Amy being chased by an equally naked Sheldon around the apartment...... and now I need to go lay down
  8. It's taken a while, but I've finally caught up with this. Just a thought on something I saw quite a few pages ago. There was talk about Amy maybe suddenly getting cold feet over coitus and instead they end up sharing a bed platonically. I agree that would be the next logical step fro them, but because of her night terrors I do wonder if she be reluctant to that, especially as she is a biter. The last thing she would want to do is hurt him by biting him, however unintentional it is. Also, I think she'd be worried about how Sheldon would react if he was present during one of her night terrors.
  9. Hi, new here. I read something similar to that the other day, but can't remember for the life of me what it was called.
  10. I've been lurking for a bit, but have now decided to join in. I'm a bit of a Shamy Shipper.... actually make that a huge Shamy Shipper
