It looks like she's stopped using hair dye and sporting her natural color.
Although in the Priceline commercials she made when she was still pregnant her hair looked reddish.
Being truthful, although she is beautiful with any shade of hair color, I think she is more beautiful in her natural hair color. I've never seen seen her happier than when she's with her baby. 😊

When Sheldon said he made "frontier scallops", wasn't that what some people call "Rocky Mtn. oysters" which are actually bull testicles?
Quite possible. I've never heard of anything called "Frontier Scallops ". "Mountain Oysters", I have heard of in the past. 😂

Before I forget, I want to wish all the mothers a Happy Mother's Day. 😊

The image actually came, originally, from Kaley's IG Stories. Images posted here, from social media, must be linked to the original item. We do not allow images posted here to be screen capped and uploaded. Since images from IG Stories cannot be linked, we don't allow them here. However, what I did was add the link in your post (the blue), so while the image is not posted here, in accordance with our rules, someone could follow the link and still see the image. I know it sounds silly, but we try to keep away from copyright problems. And, no, TLW, you are not in any trouble. 🙂
Thanks for the link.😊

I see what you mean although I think he looks a lot more more foolish in the later seasons. So juvenile and quite frankly so irritating. I can see why the Sheldon purists of the early seasons have a hard time with what the character has become.
I liked that the writers didn't have him win all the time, if he's got his way all the times,it would have got tiresome.
He was always a prominent character but I feel like the Shamy breakup was the turning point and then it became Sheldon centric. Was it a good idea to focus mostly on him? It's not like the later seasons were that good,
I agree about the timeline of the turning point. The last 3 seasons weren't that good to me since the writers focused mostly on Sheldon and Amy. The remaining cast were mostly background material. It did become the Sheldon and Amy Show. Maybe if they hadn't concentrated so much on Shamy, Jim would have stayed since there would be more time to present the material. But, who knows what would have happened. Jim may have still have quit.

When I watched Big Bang originally I was amused at the Sheldon character. However, after watching reruns many times his character just grades on me and as Penny says "creams my corn". One question on my mind was why did the writers make Sheldon win most of the time. His eccentric character was absurd all the time but to make him prevail in many instances just didn't hold true for me. He won when Leonard had to wear that sweater, he won when he blackmailed Priya just to get his way in the RA, he won when Leonard bought the table (sometimes the baby wins), he seemingly won when he and Amy thought they were the better couple, and he supposedly won when they played the drinking game in the cabin. And let's not forget all the times he insulted Penny with his sexual history remarks. She should have slapped him many times for his inappropriateness.
So why couldn't they write some dialogue rebutting all his insults and arrogance. I can only recall one time when Penny gave it back to him and he really did not get it. (When Sheldon thought his reputation was at stake and asked Penny for advice since she had a "checkered past")
I feel the same way. The Penny in the first few seasons would have hogtied him and make him believe she was going to castrate him. That would have been fun to watch. 😊

Exactly there was no explanation either way why she did not want kids nor why she changed her mind or just accepted her pregnancy.
Agreed. The writers didn't care because the show was ending.

And there is a lot of negativity from some viewers that watched the show and liked that Penny wanted to remain child-free. They didn't like that the character ended up pregnant.
There was some negativity concerning Penny's pregnancy. That's because the writers just threw that out without thinking it thru.

Well unlike you guys I don't think the show could have gone on without him. He was the major draw, people watched the show for him and in the later seasons, for the Shamy. It simply doesn't work without him
In my humble opinion, he was the major draw because the writers wrote it that way. They could have written about Lenny's pregnancy. Raj and Anu possibly getting back together. There are so many avenues the writers could have tried. Sheldon and Amy were not the show. But Chuck Lorre and the other powers that may be, took the easy way and ended the show.

It is true Sheldon was the catalyst in many episodes but I also enjoyed the episodes where he was not the central figure. I also think as you mention Penny and Leonard were reduced to secondary characters in the last three seasons after being the core couple from the beginning. I often wondered how Johnny and Kaley felt about this even though the were being paid handsomely.
I often wondered about their feelings on the show starting to be more Shamy. Also wondered about what Simon, Melissa and Kunal thought as well. We'll probably never know.

TPTB could have written a few more episodes for them instead of concentrating on the Shamy wedding and Nobel quest. In the final season throwing that plotline of Zack & Marissa wanting a child to just come up with any storyline for Lenny was ridiculous. But I guess the episode where Penny tells Leonard she does not want kids sort of backed them into a corner. First of all to express that three years into the marriage was kind of selfish and then the writers failed to explore it further to reason why she did not want kids. Even though Penny gets pregnant in the end it felt forced upon the fans.
Totally agree. I believe Season 11 and 12 wasted too much time and energy on the Shamy engagement, wedding planning and Nobel nonsense.

In my opinion it would work without him. The episodes could then be more ensemble episodes. Then the other characters could be more explored instead of an afterthought by the writers.

Hello Miramanee, welcome to the forum. For someone who does not know English that well you write exceptionally. As Chucky has replied Big Bang Theory had ended because Jim Parsons (Sheldon) thought it was time to leave as his character did not have any more story lines. He got married and won the Nobel Prize his two main goals. However, all the other characters were left without real closure. And you are right he is an obnoxious, insulting condescending jerk who never really grew up. It is not until the last episode does he realize, thanks to his wife, how selfish he was to his friends. If it were not for them he wouldn't have any friends at all.
Totally concur!😊

Hi guys!
I signed up here on the forum today because I want to find out why the series was discontinued. Somewhere I read that Jim Parsons didn't want to continue. Which irritates me, because he is not necessary for the series. In fact, since season 7 he only disturbs. Because his character doesn't really develop, he is always the same nerd, who believes to know a lot means you are intelligent. And of course his conviction that the earth would turn only because of him and the sun would shine only for him. Overconfidence squared.
First of all, it might be important to know that I bought the series online in German a few weeks ago. The English track is available for free, but I don't know English that well. Especially not when it comes to sarcasm and hidden insinuations. In other words, I only heard about this series not too long ago and decided to watch it. My family has never had television, we go to the movies or buy DVDs. Every now and then we book a movie or series online for entertainment. (Note: we don't have TV reception, but we do have TV devices that run mainly as monitors; so we redirect entertainment booked online with notebooks to them).
So far I have avoided watching the last season. It would have been nice if 'Sheldon' would have been slowly removed in the 12th season and Barry Kripke would have been built up instead - a really brilliant supporting role. Sheldon would not be missed, because contrary to what Sheldon believes about himself, he is as dumb as bread. A walking, pompous data storage device, nothing more. Kripke has such a cool way of unsettling everyone and also driving them a little crazy. A good man, in whom the role of Mayim Bialik could have fallen in love, after Shelden would have gone missing in the Arctic like Lex Luthor once did in Smallville. As a final scene, he could have been shown in Hawking's wheelchair on an iceberg. Frozen with icicles on his nose.
The series could have run for another 10 years without Jim Parson, with him there was probably no choice but to end it.
LG, Janisha.
Interesting point of view. I agree that the show could have continued without Jim/Sheldon. The show was discontinued due to Chuck Lorre decided if one of the big three (Jim, Johnny or Kaley) decided to quit, then he would end the show. At least that's my understanding. So, Jim wanted to quit, the show ended. 😊

I recall seeing a couple of photos on her IG of her sister holding Matilda and yes only one pic of her parents with the baby. Also, believe there were pics of Tom's family with the baby (parents and brother & sister-in-law) on his IG
You'd think that there would be more.

You know what I find odd? We haven't seen any pics of Kaley's parents with the baby. And I don't recall seeing much of them during the pregnancy
Yeah, that is odd. You'd think that there would be pictures of the happy grandparents. Maybe they will come out later.

Thanks. But living here for over 20 years, I know what to expect. The new arrivals and complacent people need to worry. If it's a 2 or above, I'm out of here to Central Alabama to be safe.
