  1. Maybe her last appearance in season 8 where she said she wanted to be more unconditional towards Leonard had more of an affect than we thought? Not that she would necessarily be good at it.
  2. 1. Sure he can, just like I can choose to hate Michael bays transformers movies without seeing them after revenge of the fallen made me abhor his movies. It just doesn't make me the most reliable witness. 2. I thought you disagreeing with my comment and liking his comment on ALL THE season 9 EPISODES being crap was sufficient enough to conclude you felt the same way he did. If im misreading this, then I apologize.
  3. For all Leonard knows IF he had taken time to sit down and explain to her why he's not touching that money (unless it was an emergency), Penny might have respected his wishes. We don't know for sure if Penny has taken anything out either way since she learned about it.
  4. Leonard should've had more faith in his wife that she could restrain from touching that money.
  5. 1. He took down his never trust Steve molaro signature THE SECOND shamy reconciled. Obviously he couldn't be that unhappy with those episodes, if they managed to get him to do that. 2. I still disagree, also I remember a post from The Bachelor Party Corrosion where you said "I really liked it".
  6. Given that the baby is coming from the couple that is third in the pecking order, I can see their side. The baby could start off being as active a presence as Howard's mom and doesn't get much beyond that, who knows. The Leonard/Sheldon odd couple dynamic has been a prime foundation of this show from day one. Howard/bernies lives, for better or worse have not. Not that I necessarily disagree with you on the show being able to survive that transition. But I can understand tptb keeping a form of that dynamic in universe/out of universe.
  7. 1. Really, then why bother watching when all the episodes are crap? Also I remember you praising this year's valentines episode. 2. That's nice, I disagree with your disagreement.
  8. Bernie never categorically ruled out kids. What is the dream wedding Amy described? Also shamy had plenty of focus this season that didn't involve fighting, like having sex.
  9. All of them? The bachelor party episode, the spockumentary, and shamys first night; rank among the best episodes IMO.
  10. After that Mandy incident and Leonards secret savings account, he's not really in a position to be throwing stones at penny. Any rude behavior on Penny's part is small compared to Leonards infractions.
  11. If there is truth to this (and ONLY if there is) than I predict a specific development that's going to make alot of Lenny's groan.
  12. One doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the other.
  13. Penny went to 4b after her husband said she wasn't a mature adult. Yes penny and Sheldon, were in specfic wrongs as well. It doesn't change the fact that Leonard signed the damn thing, and has attended the meetings in the past. Nothing was given to us saying that Leonard couldn't take some time out of his night to attend a meeting that only happens once every four months.
  14. No there was the earworm reverberation.
  15. Because times can change a person's perspective? Also I never said her liking or saying she liked it was artificial back then.
  16. -maybe from his p.o.v. he didn't view it as a traditional arrest since all he needed was to apologize (him not doing that is what got him thrown in after all)? -didn't they have access to communication up there? -maybe since his phone was still in service, he technically didn't view it that way..... or maybe he just forgot?
  17. Maybe the thought of Howard's junk having touched his laptop made him second guess whether to keep it or not?
  18. Also the sulfer peroxide kissing from LP in season 5. The SP kiss felt artificial because I could never see those two characters acting in that manner EVER, which was probably the point. Also Sheldon forcing his face on penny's is not what I would consider hot. Maybe Amy didn't figure that out until she went ice skating?
  19. I viewed it as Penny teasing Leonard, by not giving him the satisfaction of making fun of Sheldon's hat in front of him like he wanted her too (You got something to say about Sheldon's hat?). Also Penny didn't say Leonard couldn't where the hat, Leonard chose NOT TO where it. Penny didn't make him choose to not where it. But that's just my interpretation on that scene. -I read that more as him being happy that Penny was choosing to be responsible in her decision making as an adult. Yeah they could've talked about it more, but a.) they were away for the weekend b.) it's possible he just wanted to take her mind off her work woes since they were getting her down. c.) Leonard has always struck me as usually favoring doing what's practical over self satisfaction. Sure as you said, ""You know, it's possible to find a job or career you like that you can get paid for?" but there's no guarantee that that hypothetical job is out there, given the networking through Bernadette that made that job possible. And being out of work looking for said convenient hypothetical job could add more to her debt. -He's already said that in season 8 in front of Penny, I'd like to think for Penny it goes without saying. But again that's just my take on these scenes.
  20. -Didn't they have fun in the holiday episodes? -Because it's true to her character? I'd rather Penny be true to herself as a character & person, instead of artificially liking a job, just so she has a science based entry into her friends conversations.
  21. Penny can't change her mind later on? They should, but it wouldn't make for compelling television, than watching people with feat of clay. Leonard being hesitant to reveal that account to penny because of her spending habits sounds about right for his character.
  22. -maybe if Leonard didn't keep it a secret it wouldn't be a problem. -after learning that penny used sheldons toothbrush to clean the sink, it doesn't surprise me that he would get spiteful. -making alot of money doesnt mean a debt goes away easily. Also this doesn't mean penny is fiscally responsible given her putting money in the stock market instead using it to pay off her debt. Also we don't know an absolute amount to Penny's debt like we do Leonards account.
  23. I think Kyle is WAY OFF considering he couldn't say enough great things about Howardette in episodes 16 & 18.
  24. You left out the subtext of 3 scenes where she SAW how Leonard being separated was affecting him. She made that decision AFTER she saw what it was doing to him. Scene 1: "Penny: What’s the matter? Leonard: It’s harder than I thought. Sheldon: Let me help you. L. E. O. N. Leonard: That helped." Scene 2: "Penny: So, what are you thinking for dinner? Leonard: Well, it’s Thai food night. Penny: Well, honey, you don’t live with Sheldon any more. You can have anything you want. Leonard: You’re right. But what? Mexican? Italian? German? Indian? Greek? Cuban? Chinese? Pizza? Barbecue? Korean? Korean barbecue? Penny: How about Thai food? Leonard: Oh, thank God." Scene 3: "Penny: Are you doing okay? Leonard: I guess. I’m just, you know, worried about Sheldon. Penny: Well, come on, he’s a grown man in his 30s pretending to be a grown man in his 20s. He’s fine. Leonard: I hope so. Penny: What else can you do? Move back in with him? Leonard: No, of course not. I just feel bad. Penny: Well, so do I, but don’t you want to live with your wife and set the thermostat to whatever you want and have your body tell you when it’s time to go to the bathroom, you know, not a schedule slipped underneath your door every morning? Leonard: I did like that he had the weather on it. Penny: Trust me, this is the right thing. Leonard: I know. And it’s not like we’re abandoning him. Plus, we can FaceTime him whenever we want, you know, once iPhones are invented in his universe." I disagree with you calling this pressuring him, judging from the subtext of the three scenes above and with Sheldon. She clearly knew her husband wouldn't have a problem with it. She read the people in the room from that night and felt it wouldn't be that big of a deal if things were changed back to the way they slightly were.
