    P.s.: "his husband" teehee x3

I read that and also thought "did we miss something" .  His company is busy at the moment with lots of announcements that must follow on from all the behind the scenes work.

Managed to watch this on the live with kelly website.  Really enjoyed it,  jim wasn't quite as flexible as the girls. Doesn't look like jim will be back on Broadway until TBBT finishes which is a bit sad but understandable.

It's been odd watching him play with Snapchat over the last several days.  I always perceived him as a classical, cerebral, southern gentleman.  Suit and tie kind of guy, carefully chosen words in interviews, humble, kind.

But he really is sort of a goofball at heart...I didn't expect that.  God bless Todd for putting up with his nonsense....lol.

He seems to have gone mad on the snapchat but I am loving it.  Obviously relaxing over the hiatus and spoiling us with social media posts.

It's awesome that he got to see both of his friends plays this summer.

I wonder if it was weird sitting and watching some else perform a role that you played a year ago?

I think it must be really weird watching it when you were the first to preform it and from clips they have a different style of performance.  It doesn't seem that Sean is pulling the crowds like Jim did but he does take selfies outside.

  6. Have to wait until Mon night to watch the show in full but the you tube clips were great.  Jim was funny and seemed very relaxed.  For someone not working this summer it is fantastic that we keep getting little peeks of him on various shows.  Looking forward to him co-hosting with Kelly.

Lovely quote from Empire's review of Florence Foster Jenkins - "We hear it for the first time along with Cosmé, a camp, innocent young pianist who has absolutely no idea what he is in for. Watching Helberg is flat-out hilarious. He puts in a wonderfully nuanced comic performance as a range of emotions - from disbelief to hysteria - flicker across his face."

    Well done, Simon :-)

Just come back from watching the film and have to agree with this comment.  Simon was great both in acting and piano playing really enjoyed it.

Can't wait for this film (and not even because Jim is in it, but because of the story...he is icing on the cake!) :girlwink:

Agree, I'm waiting for the book to come out.  I imagine Jims part will be small but always great to see him another role.

I wonder if they have to label props like that for safety and practicality, as to what goes on the set, or what gets used, like if someone is in a scene cutting up vegetables or whatever, they don't want to try to use the "Dull" knife.

But I love Mayim playing with it with Jim. :)

I imagine that is right.  Like a few other people I read it as pull to start with and had a few blank moments trying to figure it out. As I was looking at Jim it wasn't a problem :icon_razz:

You can listen to his interview at timestamp 2:34:00.  He talks about a lot of things...London, BBT, acting, etc.   Funny as always though.  He did talk briefly about The Spoils...but he told the funniest story about actors waitin for cars at the Emmys that cracked me up!

Peg, I just checked Amazon.  The book won't be out until Sept. 6, but it looks fascinating.  I wonder where the movie will be filmed?  I know Jim likes to spend time in New York, if he can.

Amazing how they can start filming before the book is published :icon_razz: obviously generated a lot of pre-publication interest in the storyline.  I agree it is a fascinating bit of unknown history.
