  1. Good summary! I'd still have one small objection. Sheldon was the one who kept appealing to Penny about her supposed promiscuity (she had long outgrown her "youthful sins") and even created nonsensical calculations about it. But hey... After the end of the series I feel my belated childhood is over now. πŸ™‚ But I like the sense that not everything was wrapped up in a bow and life goes on.
  2. As one of those who considered Sheldon's development more as critical in the last 2-3 years of the series, I had no particular expectations of the last episodes in his case. When I saw the beginning right away with the Nobel nonsense and his reaction to it, my fears were woken up to the worst: The final revelation of the Sheldon Show! But the direct involvement of all the other characters with their (for me) credible and also funny reactions in the following run, had calm me down in the end. Sheldon's unexpected speech ended with me drowning in an unforeseen discharge of eye liquid. But to his pardon, it wasn't just his fault. πŸ™‚
  3. I like to agree! πŸ˜‰ Yeah, old Besserwisser.
  4. Here you can follow the script of the episode. To my knowledge there is no sentence like you're looking for. πŸ˜‰ Episode Script
  5. (taken from 1223 'The Change Constant' thread) Uh, oh. Sorry for this late service. My workstation broke down on Saturday (just in time for the end of the show?). Now after a short repair, all right, here we go. πŸ™‚ I'll put it right here in this thread. That seems appropriate to me and I hope you like it. πŸ˜‰
  6. Sorry about a short distraction... Goodbye, Big Bang Theory! (Jimmy Kimmel Live) Tonight on CBS, one of the most popular TV shows ever came to a close. It was the final episode of 'The Big Bang Theory,' and unfortunately for one of our audience members, he wasn't aware tonight was the big night. Seriously, who's this guy? Is he one of us, one of us? 😁

We’re leaving them, they’re not leaving us. We’re not blowing the show up at the end. We’re just moving away,” said Lorre. more details: β€˜The Big Bang Theory’ Finale Scores Huge Ratings variety.com

  9. I think drawing any comparisons to other series are pretty far-fetched. TBBT is unique. There is no competition for me. πŸ™‚
  10. Since I don't watch any other shows with the same dedication and patience, and I have rarely been impressed by series in the past, I can't and don't want to make any quality comparisons. So far I can only say, today's ending has moved me very, very much and it actually reconciled me from the bad feeling with the remaining episodes in S12. It will probably take me a while to make a final judgement. πŸ™‚

  12. So we've finally got an answer. πŸ™„ EW: "When did you change your mind about having Penny want kids?" Steve Holland: "We had talked a lot earlier this season about honoring the pilot, how β€œour babies will be smart and beautiful.” It was a special moment to us. To bring that back around in the finale felt important. It also felt a little bit like people were expecting it, so to write against it all season felt like a way to make that moment play as more of a surprise." EW

  15. No further words possible at the moment...sigh!
  16. So true. Anyway, as an unforgettable moment I want to point it out once again... I'm afraid I have to join Penny's craving. I just don't know whether it's urgent before or after the end of all the stories.
