  1. You know Shamys screen time has been disproportionate to the rest of the characters screen time for years now. And if they are going to start bringing in more YS characters this season. And basically use TBBT as a window for YS to extrapolate into the universe of TBBT. With Sheldon as Veil. Than I’m going to tune out really soon. Feels like they are going to use TBBT as a marketing platform and a prop to enhance YS. Keep the bloody shows seperate.
I've already stopped watching. If i want to watch a particular part I'll watch it on u tube

  2. The last thing they need to do is do a crossover between YS and TBBT. Be really annoying if they used the final season of TBBT as a prop to enhance YS. Fine with George showing up. But don't need to see anymore of YS in TBBT no thank you.
I guess we see appeal in different dynamics. I Don't see the appeal in Shamy. I don't get it. But I can relate to the Nerdy Guy desiring the Hot Girl Next door. And see it evolved. Its the most realistic couple on the show. Which is ironical considering how they always emphasize on "What do they even talk about". Wish they would focus on their strengths not their weaknesses.
I guess my problem is I don't see not having a lot in common as a weakness. From my own experience not having a lot in common made live more interesting

  3. Don't know about the shamy babies. Holland was pretty adamant about no more babies.  As for Bernadette, you're right, she should have been a friend and supported Penny.
I guess tptb will have shamy having twins you know sheldon has to be the best

Nah, she runs to Raj!🤣 lets go full circle and bring it back to the worst moment in the show’s history. Finally QuickDraw gets his happy ending. That should keep this forum going for another decade![emoji16]

  5. I'm not sure what either of those things have to do with the subject. Leonard wasn't right to get her father or Amy involved in something that does not concern them to get Penny to do what he wants. They're at an impasse. Penny has her doubts about wanting children, which seem pretty very newfound, and expressed those doubts to Leonard. She felt horribly guilty about it and expressed those doubts to Leonard, aware and empathetic of the fact that it will be a disappointment (she seemed a bit disappointed in herself and her current lack of desire). I really hate that they're doing this storyline but I'm not exactly sure how she's in the wrong for expressing this. What exactly is the alternative?
I have a hard time believing if she had doubts now that she didn't have them earlier at some time

  6. I would describe that as an aforementioned "yeah, sure, maybe someday" discussions that they've had in the past.
No but she could have told Leonard before they got married if she had doubts then Leonard could have decided to get married too her a not. They were engaged for a year she had plenty of time

  7. "Some people" obviously doesn't include Leonard since clearly neither of them have ever given it any thought beyond "yeah, sure, maybe someday" until tonight's episode.
I think Leonard has thought about kids a lot during the series and for Penny to just now pop up about not wanting kids is completely unfair to expect him to just except this

  8. Tbf neither party had time to discuss goals in their marriage and their future. Based on the fact they got spontaneously married.
I have no problem with Leonard ringing Wyatt. He’s his father in law. And seeing he really has no real father figure in his life. I know we saw Alfred. But limited. So I think he was just looking for reassurance.
She had plenty of time to tell him they were engaged for a year

Um, neither Penny nor Leonard discussed any concrete re: children until this episode. It wasn't some horrible, sinister secret that she kept from him until she was ready to twist the knife in. I get that people are disappointed in the episode, I was too, but good grief.
She still should have the told him she didn't want kids that's really important to some people. To me she did keep a secret from Leonard

  9. Just my personal opinion but I think Leonard was a complete shit for calling Wyatt when he and Penny had not discussed the topic further.
Penny should have a least told Leonard before they got married that she didn't want kids. Personally I think that was shitty on her part

  10. From USA Today
First look: ‘Big Bang Theory’ rolls into final season with ‘Young Sheldon’ crossovers

"The Big Bang Theory" will end its run in May 2019 at the conclusion of the twelfth and final season.
"We've talked about the arc for where we want to end, but it's not all officially ingrained. I'm hesitant to talk too much about it now, but right now that's not part of the plan," says "Big Bang" executive producer Steve Holland, adding there will be "no more babies." As for the final episode, due in May, "we've talked about it. We don't know the whole thing. We have some ideas we're really excited about, but nothing set in stone yet."
"Big Bang" writers typically don't plot too far ahead, so Holland and Steven Molaro, an executive producer of both comedies, say they have time to prepare  a satisfying conclusion after it was announced in August that the new season would be its last.
"We have time to plan and hopefully do it right," says Molaro, taking a break from the taping of an upcoming "Sheldon" episode that features the return of  child prodigy (and Sheldon frenemy) Paige (Mckenna Grace), who's introduced Thursday.

I think there will be one more and I'm sure it will be shamy

  11. To me it seems like they just made a big deal out of a casual answer to a hypothetical suggestion, to make a headline, but who knows. Also, right now a Howardette spin-off seems more likely to me, if there any spin-off is to happen, but again, who knows. Lenny could appear in a Howardette spin-off every once in a while. I think I would enjoy a Lenny spin-off, it just doesn't seem very likely to me right now.
I would think a young Amy would be more likely

  12. I was just thinking of all of the fans who used to say Amy was just desperate for sex when I never saw it that way personally.
I'm with Tensor on this one. When I met my wife the only thing we had in common was that she was a bartender and I drank alcohol. Completely different back grounds and no common friends

  13. I liked most of it. The best part for me was the end with Tyson and Nye but the Lego breakfast was also cute. The storyline with Raj could have been better, though. The best line in the whole ep for me was the one about deGrasse kicking. Teller was as good as I expected. I don't know why people are always surprised when he talks, even if he's playing a character. It's almost like Arthur Marx. Yes, he could talk. Just not when he was playing Harpo. The Lenny disagreement could have been avoided if Leonard had stuck to the point that they have nothing in common in my opinion, because I never thought they did. Not their backgrounds, their families, their education, their jobs, their hobbies...just their friends now.

    I liked Vulture's recap.
Still haven't figured out why you have to have things in common to fall in love

  14. Bill Prady was quoted as saying he doesn't know what's going to happen in s12 because they don't plan ahead but didn't he say earlier that there would be more young sheldon parts put into tbbt. Isn't that planning ahead

  15. Giving up smoking isn't a reason to eat more. You could use chewing gums for example or take toothpicks in your mouth instead.
I stopped smoking and gained 20 pounds but i have found out in my case it was easier to stop smoking than to lose the 20 pounds
