I have recently discovered the music of parody artist "Weird Al" Yankovic. What do you think of him?

Young Sheldon Development Discussion Thread
Sheldon With Glasses replied to vonmar's topic in Young Sheldon
I know Missy appeared in an early episode of "Big Bang", but I don't recall any episode of that series that Sheldon ever mentioned having a brother. You folks can correct me if I'm wrong on this. "Young Sheldon" looks like it will become a hit like its parent show. I saw the previews and found myself laughing pretty good. -
What are your favorite game shows? Mine are "Jeopardy", "Wheel of Fortune", "Price is Right", "Match Game" and "$100,000 Pyramid".

Are you surprised that Penny's maiden name has yet to be revealed? The show's writers have had several opportunities to do so and have squandered them. If it were me, I would think Penny's maiden name would be something Scandinavian since she's from the Midwest.

I once saw Galecki in a Hyundai commercial and Cuoco was in a series of Priceline.com ads alongside long-time Priceline spokesman William Shatner. Parsons has done some commercials for HP in addition to guest-hosting "Saturday Night Live". Kunal Nayyar was once on the recent CW revival of the sketch comedy show "Whose Line is it Anyway?"

I've watched it and liked it. It's like a "Wonder Years" for the millennial generation.

1. What do you think of the Sheldon/Amy split so far? 2. Do you think the two will get back together? 3. If yes, then when? Here are my answers: 1. I consider the Sheldon/Amy split one of the most interesting story arcs in the history of the show. 2 & 3. My prediction is that the two will get back together before the end of the season.

Your favorite sitcoms other than TBBT?
Sheldon With Glasses replied to Lazyking's topic in TV & Movies
Mine are "The Office" (U.S.), "Fawlty Towers", "Black-ish", "Welcome to Sweden", "Fresh off the Boat", "Simpsons" through the mid-2000's, "Better Off Ted", "Get Smart", "Seinfeld", "Scrubs", "Undateable" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine". By the way, "Whose Line is it Anyway?" is a sketch comedy show and not a sitcom. -
"Simpsons" through the mid-2000's and "King of the Hill".
-
I saw the "Get Smart" movie when it first came out but nothing since. I had seen the TV series beforehand and the movie was just as good.

I've been keeping track of "The Simpsons" and I have charted a slow but steady decline in episode quality. I agree with the people who say it should have ended years ago. My gut feeling for Season 27 is that the writers will do something stupid to one or more of the characters and alienate many of the people who still watch the show. I have read that Homer and Marge will separate in the Season 27 premiere; I am entertaining the possibility of that being the beginning of the end for "The Simpsons" even if the two get back together later.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned revealing Penny's last name. They should do a live episode as well.

For #10, I recall there were rumors last season that Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe on "Friends", was going to play Penny's mother. It looks like that didn't materialize in time for Season 8.
