  1. I'm just curious if anyone has noticed the even shorter run-times this season... Episodes have always fluctuated between 18-22 minutes, but this season, the latest episodes are clocking in around 18ish minutes. I know TBBT is the network's highest rated sitcom, which spells a lot of ad-revenue for CBS, but I can't help but feel a little cheated. For example, they're using a new transition this season, where the camera zooms out quickly, as seen in "The 2003 Approximation" and tonight's "The Perspiration Implementation." Think this was done to help cram in more commercials? Also, we got a 5-second tag scene tonight. While not uncommon, it irks me, especially considering the already shortened time. Regardless, what really "creams my corn" is the fact that when these episodes enter syndication, they'll experience some edits, as well. (Yes, TBBT is not the only one experiencing shorter run-times, but take Modern Family, for example. That series still has episodes running 21+ minutes, and it has the same 31 minute allotment, albeit lower ratings.) Just something interesting I wanted to point out... Let me know your thoughts!
  2. Ditto!
  3. Sheldon was watching Professor Proton in the trailer!
  4. We should be getting a trailer for Young Sheldon tomorrow, when CBS announces their 2017-18 schedule and new series.
  5. Actor

Mayim will appear on Hallmark Channel's Home & Family, E!'s Daily Pop, The Talk on CBS, and KCBS/KCAL News in Los Angeles at 12 P.M., on Tuesday, May 16th. Additionally, she's a guest on KTLA Morning News in Los Angeles at 7:45 A.M., on Monday, May 15th.
  6. Can anyone who attended the taping of 10.24 comment on whether or not it is explained how the painting resurfaced in 4B? Perhaps Penny gave it to Sheldon to remind him of Amy, while she's away... If it was the writers' aim to have Penny see the painting and comment as she did, the conversation could've just as easily taken place in 4A, since the painting was last hung there.
  7. Actor

Kaley will be a guest on Rachael Ray this Thursday, May 11th! Apparently, they'll be playing a life-size version of rock, paper, scissors.
  8. Actor

Mayim will also be on ABC's Good Morning America between 7-9 A.M. on Tuesday, May 9th, and on the AOL Build Show at 3:30 P.M. Additionally, she will be a guest on The Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM at 9:15 A.M.
  9. Actor

Jim is a guest on Watch What Happens: Live this Monday, May 8th at 11 P.M. on Bravo.
  10. Yes, this was mentioned when the entire cast appeared on Conan last February to celebrate the 200th episode.
  11. FYI, there are 2 sneak peeks for "The Gyroscopic Collapse" on YouTube. However, they haven't been posted by the official TBBT channel yet, so I assume they can't be posted here.
  12. Was the ventriloquist dummy scene in the taping report? I don't remember reading about that... Perhaps it was taped later.
  13. @kazzie, thanks for your very detailed taping reports! They're greatly appreciated!!! In 10.24, is Sheldon traveling a montage set to music? I guess music is edited-in later, but did you get that impression? How was that portion of the episode delivered? You mentioned that Sheldon was watching Spongebob... Were his travels comical, serious, happy, sad, or perhaps all of the above? Again, many thanks!
  14. On the Ramona front, I really hope that her appearance is simply her enacting her revenge on Sheldon and by extension the guys' guidance system. As for Lenny, I hope they are in a good place. As others have indicated, maybe something career-wise is on the horizon, based on what happens in 10x22. Hopefully, we all get spoiled come late Tuesday/early Wednesday.
  15. Who else is a fan of Riverdale? I've loved this new series since the pilot, and have heard rumors that Sabrina may appear in the season finale!
  16. In the U.S., some episodes get a line or scene cut from time to time to allow for more commercials in syndication. However, that's not what I'm talking about here... Sometimes my CBS station cuts off the episode, when it comes back from commercial break, or at the very start of the episode. It seems to me that certain ads run over their allotted time, and the episode resumes "already in progress." It's not all of the time, but when it does occur, it's irritating to say the least. It's like it picks right up with the characters already in mid-sentence. It may not be any more than 5-10 seconds lost, but when the episodes are already so short, I feel jibbed when it happens.
  17. Does anyone remember last February, when the cast appeared on Conan to promote the 200th episode? Jim mentioned that the writers had asked him if he knew how to ride a unicycle... It's interesting that one of the feats Sheldon attempts to master is the unicycle in next week's "The Cognition Regeneration."
  18. HAPPY TAPING DAY! Do we know of anyone going? Papa needs a taping report to wake up to!
  19. Awesome hashtag regardless, but I wonder if it has any bearing on the plot of episode 23... Could Raj be planning a party? Also, it's probably just pure coincidence, but the episode being filmed tomorrow will air on May 4th. Could there be another Star Wars' Day-themed outing?
  20. Yes, Friends was filmed on Stage 24 on the WB lot in Burbank, CA.
  21. If I'm not mistaken, just beyond the corner is a patch of grass where they film all of the outdoor scenes of various WB shows. For example, close-by is where Howard and Raj were sitting at the park bench in "The Cornhusker Vortex," and where Phoebe and Rachel are jogging in Friends, and Rachel runs into the horse in "The One Where Phoebe Runs." Also, the building behind these folks is where they filmed Batman and Robin entering Commissioner Gordon's office. Gotta love the WB Studio Tour! I really want to venture back to Burbank in August, and attend another taping!
