  1. I'm hoping that the series finale is extended too. When Friends ended, episodes 17 and 18 (of the ordered 18) served as the series finale. I'm wondering if they'll show both episodes 23 and 24 the same night or simply extend episode 24. I'm hoping for the latter. But, if that does happen, would there be two parts, thus making 25 episodes for syndication? I suppose extended could mean 35-40 minutes, similar to when NBC showed super-sized episodes of Friends. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
  2. Kunal mentioned that the final episode will be taped on his and Johnny's birthday, so the date should be announced as April 30th.
  3. I should have mentioned that the article @vonmar shared had this to say: Have you talked at all about other spinoffs from Big Bang Theory? If Chuck Lorre or one of his awesome producers want to come to us with a new idea, we are all ears. I, like many here, am very protective of the show, so it bugs me when sites try to make a tiny nugget of information seem bigger. I guess they do it to attract more eyeballs, but it still annoys me.

  5. @vonmar, this article you shared also had the interviewer asking about future spin-offs. When I read the response that Kahl gave, I got the feeling that nothing was brought to the table, but that CBS would certainly be interested if Chuck Lorre approached them. TV Line just published this article: https://tvline.com/2019/01/31/the-big-bang-theory-second-spinoff-cbs/?fbclid=IwAR0V0JVXP5SRmdReQ0qaTxIFwLSSwqrZS8E5RPRVECSt1FufgX_pRBGyLP4. It seems like they're trying to make a bigger production out of nothing. I can't really see any of the cast members doing an off-shoot, but that's not what TV Line wants its readers to believe.

  9. It looks like we won't be getting a Valentine's Day-themed episode. According to the Futon Critic, Feb. 14th will be a repeat. http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/big-bang-theory/listings/
  10. If there is a Valentine's episode this year, maybe Penny will reveal her true feelings regarding a baby to Leonard. Maybe something like this could happen: - Penny reveals her true feelings to Leonard, and they agree to have kids someday. - Raj and Anu try to figure out what to do/get each other for their first Valentine's Day together, and Howard and Bernadette intervene. - Sheldon and Amy continue promoting Super Asymmetry and sort of forget about Valentine's Day, leading the two of them to pull off an impromptu surprise for one another. Just food for thought...
  11. I believe it will be filmed on Feb. 5th. This is just a thought, but maybe it will be semi-related to the wedding. Perhaps the venue was never cancelled, and Raj and Anu decide to marry after all. This would be somewhat counterintuitive due to what they decided in "The Propagation Proposition." Still, it's hard to say what will transpire in the next few tapings. I could see a Valentine's episode centering on Raj pulling out all the stops for Anu, especially if he acknowledges that it was their proposed wedding date.
