My oh my was that a cracker start to the season! Them calling each other husband and wife, seeing Sheldon with a Wedding Ring, having a heartfelt talk about their physical life, and seeing them back where it all began. If the rest of season 12 is like this, I'm gonna have a hard time letting go of the show. -

Hell yeah! I also wouldn't be opposed to a pregnant Amy storyline, as I'm sure we'll get a ton of heartfelt moments. But, like the others, I hope we get to see more of the Super Asymmetry storyline, as it's about time Sheldon had great professional success. -

Yay the spoiler free thread! I'll be crashing here for the rest of the season, and I hope there will be more people coming in here to pay us spoiler free folks a visit. Can't wait for the new season!! -
Aaaah.... Glad to be back here for the beginning of a brand new Shamy thread! New job's been keeping me busy for the past few months but it's great to return to Shamyland! As brilliant and beautiful as their wedding episode was, I can't wait to see them on their honeymoon nerding out about something random and just being them. Hope this season's gonna be filled with all the fun of season 10 and all the sweet, heartfelt moments of season 11. And I'm gonna be playing "spot the ring on Sheldon's finger" and freak out about the fact that this adorkable couple is now married. đ Bring it on writers! And a very very happy birthday to a fabulous Shamy shipper @Sah. May this year bring you boatloads of joy and happiness. đ

Thank you for all your wonderful wishes guys! â¤ī¸ I too hope for more of George and Missy as it was nice to see Amy being so readily accepted by them. I wasn't a big fan of TBBT's Meemaw and I was glad that she didn't turn up to the wedding, but I do wish we'd have gotten to see YS's Meemaw have a heart to heart with her Moonpie and his fiancee. Hoping for a positive appearance of her on the show as well. A reappearance of Amy's parents would have both great comedic potential as well as the opportunity for more heartfelt scenes. Mr. and Mrs. Fowler were everything I ever imagined them to be and then some, so it would suck if 11x24 was the last ever appearance of them both. Their appearances and interactions with Amy and Sheldon would definitely serve as great insights into their characters, so I hope the writers would tap into this moving forward. And I have a question: Has Narrator Sheldon ever mentioned anything about Tam in YS? Like if they had a falling out of some sort, or if Tam meant a great deal to him? I'm a realtively casual viewer of the show so I can't seem to remember.

Hey guys I'm sorry to interrupt your discussion, but I just wanted to tell you that I'm now officially an Engineer of Computer Science! And as much as I love Sheldon, if he were real, I'll fight him to the death on the whole "boo engineers boo" schtick lol. As you were. đ

Loving all these GIFs! Cheers to the one of the best couples to have ever graced our screens! Their connection and their own sweet ways to express their love to each other remains unparalleled by any other pair. It's amazing how such a pair of oddballs found each other, and I'll always love the fact that they were each other's first love. They've been to hell and back, and it's only made them stronger than ever. Here's to many more years of the Shamy!

I sincerely wish for a Shamy baby on the show, but not until the middle or end of the final season, whichever one it may be other than S12. For that to be a possibility, I also hope the writers are given advance notice if they need to prepare themselves for a final season, as I think that apart from major story arcs, the writers mostly just go from episode to episode and not think much about the overall big picture (atleast that's the impression I got from the show runners' interviews). Having knowledge about a confirmed final season pretty early on would enable them to set up a structure for the rest of the episodes, and reduce filler episodes to a great degree. They might also be willing to take more risks with the show, and go all out with their ideas. I never in a million years would have thought that Sheldon would end up in 4B, cos the guy hates change and would never think about leave his spot, and now it seems like the most normal thing in the world to see them living there. Thus, I feel the writers have a lot of potential for greatness, if they are allowed to take risks and if they have a story arc all planned out in advance. I don't just want a flash-forward at the end with their kids. I want atleast a half season of Sheldon attempting to handle a pregnant Amy, and I want to see a couple of episodes with them attempting to handle their babies, as they adapt to being new parents. There's a ton of potential for fun and touching moments. And as for the living arrangements, well, I think 4B would be fine for a single baby (operative word being baby not a kid). At the end of the show, they could show them moving out to a larger apartment/house.

Great to see him back on his feet! Jim's always the consummate professional.

Hear hear! And I found it hilarious how we learned his first name, when something as basic as his existence was brought into the show only in S10, whereas we still don't know the name of Amy's mother, even though we've been hearing so much about her ever since Amy's first scene on the show (heck, it was the reason she and Sheldon met in the first place) and even SEEN her on-screen. Still waiting for that bridal suite scene, CBS!

I've always wanted them to have four. A boy, twin girls and another boy. That was Chandler's wish and since he and Monica didn't get to have them, I've always wanted my other favourite OTP to make that dream a reality. â¤ī¸
