  1. The possibility that Beverly is ill is where my mind went when I saw the title "The Maternal Conclusion". I just don't know whether they would do such a heavy story line at this point.

Sheldon was a popular choice. I would have thought the problem with Sheldon was too much personality. Indeed, some people put Sheldon forward as TV character with lots of personality.
