  1. I will also be watching the reruns, just because I may go through withdrawl if i don't, lol. LHR had a good point. What about the chance that casual or non-watchers tune over to see the rerun episodes they haven't seen. Sure to grab some new viewers. Just hope the show doesn't lose more than it can gain.

  2. Raj was cast like an exchange student from the sixties. I was hoping the character would develop into a more believable, updated character. Last night is the last straw.

I have lots of Indian friends. I really hope and pray that the writers would develop the Indian characters more in step with today's life both here and India.

I also noticed this and was really hoping that his character would develop more, besides the fact that Raj can now suddenly talk to women - thanks to alcohol that worked way too fast (30 seconds? what kind of liquor WAS that?!) The episode was hilarious, as always. I am very anxious to see the next episode (please Arnie, end the strike!) to see how it continues. Will Raj start drinking to talk to women?...........

I also have to point out that I LOVED Sheldon at the end. TOO FUNNY! :icon_cheesygrin:

  3. I think there are 8 full episodes completed, which means that next week's is the last...I think. :(

This is horrible. Don't they have more scripts written for until the end of the year? Why can't they just go ahead and make those shows? :icon_cry:

  4. The Big Bang Theory made #5 on AOL's list of the top 13 "Shows You Should Be Watching".

    http://www.aolvideoblog.com/2007/11/05/shows-you-should-be-watching-no-5/

    5. 'Big Bang Theory,' CBS

Key Players: Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) know everything about the universe ... except one of its biggest mysteries -- women. Luckily, the socially challenged geeks get a hot new neighbor, Penny ('Eight Simple Rules' star Kaley Cuoco).

What's Happened So Far: When Leonard and Sheldon meet Penny, Leonard is immediately attracted. Sheldon, on the other hand, is more than happy to devote his time to his fellow scientists -- until he finds out about Penny's 'dirty' side. Who knew that geeks could be so obsessed with cleaning (think Monica from 'Friends')? Meanwhile, Leonard manages to ask Penny out on a date but quickly realizes that winning her over is a challenge he might not be able to achieve. Ugh, if only there were a textbook explaining dating in metaphysical terms.

Sample Grab: 'You're lucky that I'm one of three guys in the Western hemisphere that could follow that train of thought.'

  5. Happy Halloween i'am looking forward to having a fun

    holiday :)

I wanted to dress up today, but one of the ladies I work with is Indian, and she's afraid of Halloween and begged everyone not to. :icon_rolleyes:

  6. Happy Halloween! Trick-or-treat here was last night, and we had 32 kids show up for candy! That's the most ever. Which sucks because I got the candy I liked in case no one showed up, LOL!

  7. Well, when I first saw the show, I had no idea who anyone was (lol) until a few days later when I realized that Johnny was the guy who played David on Roseanne. I honestly haven't seen any of the other guys' work, though I have seen some still shots of Kunal's plays and have read some reviews, and they sound really good. Unfortunately, I doubt any of those will be coming my way anytime soon.

  8. spoilertv.blogspot.com reports the summary for Episode 1.08 of The Big Bang Theory.

Koothrappali is overwhelmed when his parents arrange a blind date for him, but after a few drinks he discovers he can actually talk to women. Unfortunately, his gorgeous date is more interested in Sheldon.

    Airs: 12th November 2007

Can anyone else say "WOW!" This is gonna be a great episode! :icon_cheesygrin:

  9. Wow! I thoroughly loved this episode, though saddened about poor Leonard. Didn't want Sheldon to embarrass him, then getting humiliated by Kurt. I almost cried. Glad he got kissed though, sad she was drunk. :( Sheldon was adorable as ever. The Doppler Effect... I love it. I should know this show better by now. I was thinking he was a jail inmate. lol! My only real disappointment is that I thought Raj was going to get more airplay this week. Yes, I loved his speech (the one from the clip) and it was even funnier on bigscreen :D but I thought (hoped?) that we would get to see him trying to interact at the party. It went from couch to sack with still NO talking and no character development. Maybe next week, though it seems like it'll be mostly Howard's turn (will they all have one? Sheldon... lol). How can one play Halo 3 and not speak?! Anyway... what are everyone else's thoughts on this episode?

  10. If there was a vote for second favourite, Sheldon would definitely have mine. I love his blunt, yet witty, responses. I can't imagine how the other guys keeps such straight faces during tapings. Anyone else find yourself rewatching just to see if you can find one of them crack a laugh in the background? :icon_lol:

  11. 19% scored higher (more nerdy), 1% scored the same, and 80% scored lower (less nerdy). What does this mean? Your nerdiness is: High-Level Nerd. You are definitely MIT material, apply now!!!.
