  1. I'm glad to see the show is holding its own. It's at a bit of a disadvantage changing time slots, and, of course, lost some traction because its been off for so long. It's almost like starting from scratch. Anyway, I have confidence in its future success. My other comment is a bit OT--I had to chuckle when I read that DST affects viewership because people spend the extra hour outside. I envy all those folks who are able to do that--here in the great northeast, the weather is usually so crappy in March (the mud month), that nothing much worthwhile can be done outside until mid April! Daylight Savings Time is a joke.
  2. I finally got to see the entire pilot episode--it was great. It is unfortunate that it is up against first-run episodes of other shows. But with December coming, and people being busy, plus holiday programming perhaps pre-empting the usual shows, it might not be so bad for TBBT. The strike negotiations are set to resume on Nov 26--maybe the holidays will put the big shots in a charitable mood! (or a greedy one--which is probably the case).
  3. I'm not sure if it's a waste, but I sent 2 boxes, and I'm willing to send more if I thought it would help. Could be real interesting--and helpful if the pencils donated to needy kids.
  4. I'm a relatively recent viewer to this show. It took me a few weeks to get into it because I was trying out other new shows in the same time slot. When I finally decided this was the show for me, I had missed most of the first 2 episodes. So what it gets down to is, I would have no problem seeing repeats of TBBT, maybe even all of them again. And I'm sure there are others out there like me. I've just started telling family and friends about it, (too late, unfortunately!), but I'm sure they'd tune in if I badgered them enough. I've e-mailed CBS twice about TBBT--before the strike and after. Hopefully it'll stay on the air, but I'm sort of a jinx when it comes to TV--either the ones I pick get canned, or (who would have guessed)--a strike!
