  1. Woodstock by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young has been creeping back into my head again and again the last few days. Fantastic harmonies all over this album.

Well I came upon a child of God, he was walking along the road

And I asked him tell me where are you going, this he told me:

(He) said, I'm going down to Yasgur's farm, going to join in a rock and roll band.

Got to get back to the land, and set my soul free.

We are stardust, we are golden, we are billion year old carbon,

And we got to get ourselves back to the garden.

Well, then can I roam beside you? I have come to lose the smog.

And I feel myself a cog in something turning.

And maybe it's the time of year, yes, said maybe it's the time of man.

And I don't know who I am but life is for learning.

We are stardust, we are golden, we are billion year old carbon,

And we got to get ourselves back to the garden.

By the time we got to Woodstock, we were half a million strong,

And everywhere was a song and celebration.

And I dreamed I saw the bomber jet planes riding shotgun in the sky,

Turning into butterflies above our nation.

We are stardust, we are golden, we are caught in the devil's bargain,

And we got to get ourselves back to the garden.

  2. Since the two are not mutually exclusive, I still claim that the show has always had and will continue to have requisite amounts of both (among a lot of other things).

    Cosign.

  3. Anyone remember him in Hero At Large? Man I haven't seen that flick since I was a kid and would so love to see it again. Loved Three's Company and have always enjoyed Ritter in everything I've seen him in. Watch him in Sling Blade.. talk about bringing sensitivity to a character while also adding the most subtle nuances of humor. The man was such a natural.

I've only seen bits and pieces of 8 Simple Rules, but would definitely like to check it all out.

Thanks also for the vid links BazingaFan :icon_cool:

  4. Fantastic :)

Kaley in a Nerd Machine t-shirt for the absolute win.

I was never really into metal bikini Leia (I know, I know... sacrilege). I always thought the original recipe white gown and Hoth cool gear getups were a thousand times hotter on her. Incidentally, I was watching Weeds last night (Netflix) and saw Carrie Fisher in an episode. She had a quick role where she played an incredibly grimy lawyer :D

The Hoth gear? Where her hair looked like a blooming onion?

I donno' how you got blooming onion from this.. but yeah ok!

I mean look at that. So cute.

  5. Needs to be seen in this thread.

I look at that math and feel a numbing terror wash over me, but the result is just too cool. How I wish I'd been so much more natural with it (math) when I was growing up. With this example, the fact that one equals the other gives me a profound appreciation for our species (and its sense of humor!).

    Excellent find townsie :)

  7. ...and gives us a chance to get back to some good, nerdy storytelling.

Sounds like gold to me :)

its not gold...thats just to make it up for the situation he created

i'll laugh and all, but i won't enjoy it as much when it comes down to leonard and penny

Apologies. I had no idea things were this serious.
