  1. Isn't it obvious? Where is the money she spends on shoes? A budget which is likely 2-3x what she pays for rent.
  2. Oh Sursonica, is it really necessary to caption the obvious? Maddening. A standard rule of thumb for renters when choosing a rentee is that their income be AT LEAST 3x the cost of rent. I would agree that this apartment is not one Penny could afford... on her own. Maybe she's getting help from mom & dad. Maybe an exboyfriend is helping her out. Now wouldn't THAT be scandalous!
  3. So he thinks driving is too pedestrian?
  4. Why not give us your opinion of which actresses you would consider attractive?
  5. Yeah, Corey Feldman is a cutie pie. So is Sara G. They look nuthn like eachother.
  6. Yet again Cbolt, you have left me nonplused. Why would Jim being gay keep Kaley from crushing on him?! Straight women often crush on gay men. Get with it, man.
  7. Agree? I didn't say the writing is solid. WAS solid, yes. There is not a single sitcom out there that makes me laugh, aside from this one (& only on occassion, at that!). Maybe I've come full circle. Maybe I'll check out one of those Tyler Perry sitcoms. Maybe he's doing something funny over there. Maybe... maybe! Maybe I'm starting to crack up. Ha! Tyler Perry. That's a good one.
  8. That's a great question. As someone who also does't particularly enjoy human contact, haircuts are the worst. No matter who I go to, they have to PRESS themselves against me the entire time, as if they all have some inner ear dysfunction that is messing with their equilibrium. They always leave me wondering if it's them giving me a haircut or was I performing their pap smear? And to top it off, when it's all done, I have to pay them. That's just wrong. I think that's why Sheldon WAS thin. He is so repulsed by human contact that his entire body shrinks away from it. But Cbolt, THAT is the question. WHO WOULD SHELDON TRUST TO GIVE HIM HIS HAIRCUT?! No wonder he's left distraught when this person becomes unavailable. Writers! Don't disappoint me! There's a potential gold mine of Sheldonness here!
  9. I think it's more the fact that the writer's eidetic memories are crap. Ha! But let's not be too cruel. They have given us some good moments. In the past. I just wish they would watch some of those old episodes & realize that they are writing for a character for whom traits, a history, for whom an identity has already been developed. But I've been repeating this in so many threads now, so I digress.
  10. I don't know if you're old enough but when Don Knotts let the Andy Griffith Show it went down hill in my opinion and I don't watch the episodes after he left.
  11. Maybe his eidetic memory is selective for information he finds useful.
  12. Thank you! They are extraordinarily proud. Likewise your mommy & daddy.
  13. "The Transgender Justification" "The Penis Postulation" "The Weiner Reduction" "The Gender Gentrification" "The Standard Exception" "The Female Modification" "The Girl Bipolarization" "The Leonard Insertion" Ok. I'll stop. Well well, I'm guessing Sheldon's response would be… "Fascinating!" He & I share an illness (OCD), but he's managed to use his for the good purpose of physics, whereas mine is used for the sake of dethreading a forum. Oh, the humanity!
  14. I wouldn't say Sheldon's becoming more neurotic but more of a charicature. I facetiously think it has to do with his weight gain. There. I said it. "The Transgender Justification" "The Penis Postulation" "The Weiner Reduction" "The Gender Gentrification" "The Standard Exception" "The Female Modification" "The Girl Bipolarization" "The Leonard Insertion" Ok. I'll stop.
