  1. This is awesome news! Stuart is awesome, though I think they've kind of gone a little too far with his meek attitude. When he was first introduced he was a lot more confident and I thought that was great. I really like the idea of him hanging out with Raj. Raj has been kind of pushed aside in recent years, and hopefully this means he'll get some much-needed attention again.
  2. I read the first three books about ten years ago and have been a huge fan ever since, though my patience has been tried by GRRM's glacial pace in recent years. My hope is that now that he's gotten through the middle part of the story (which he had to write and rewrite several times), he'll get through the final two books more quickly. Oh well. The show is great either way. It's remained fairly close to the books and has actually expanded on a few things pretty well. Robb Stark is probably the character who's benefited the most from the TV show's additions.
  3. I'm a comic book geek in general, but I am first and foremost a fan of both Batman and the X-Men. I love Christopher Nolan's current Batman films, but the preceding ones by Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher are hit-and-miss for me. I liked the first X-Men movie and loved X2 and X-Men: First Class, but hated both X-Men: The Last Stand and Wolverine. My favorite comic book movies are actually the Avengers ones (Iron Man 1/2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America and, of course, The Avengers), which is weird since I was never really into the Avengers comics.
  4. I'm a huge Whedon fan, have been ever since Buffy back in the late '90s, and I loved this movie. Pure comic book geeky goodness. I think Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, and Raj would have gotten a kick out of it. I hope they mention it at some point in the upcoming season.
  5. I don't hate Amy, but she's one of my least favorite characters. I like her at times, but I find her to be better in small doses. I thought she was funnier in Season Four than Season Five.
  6. I'd say both "The Speckerman Recurrence" and "The Werewolf Transformation" qualify. "The Hawking Excitation" and "The Stag Convergence" were pretty bad, too. Most of the episode I like the least seem to be in Season Five.
  7. The obsession is still fairly new for me, but the same thing has happened to me with other shows, so I understand. Hope to see you again in the fall!
  8. Thanks! I actually just wanted to use 'Sheldor,' but someone (who hasn't posted here in quite a while) had already beaten me to it. I love the gif in your sig, by the way. That was a great moment.
  9. Hello, everyone. I actually joined these forums yesterday, but I figured I'd drop in here to introduce myself. I was always aware of TBBT, but I'd never really taken the time to watch it. My brother liked it, though, and it was through him that I was eventually introduced to the show. I started from the beginning and loved the show so much that I pretty much tore through all four seasons in less than a month. I've also caught up on all of Season Five, and now I'm like the rest of you, doomed to wait four months until I can finally see new episodes again. Oh well, the show is so entertain
  10. I'm doing another run through of the show and I'm actually on this episode right now. Even though I've seen it several times already, it still cracks me up every time. It's probably one of my favorite episodes.
  11. They need to get rid of it if his character is ever going to grow. He used to be one of my favorite characters, but now he's kind of a joke (and not the good kind).
  12. Sheldon: "I'm not going to watch The Clone Wars TV series until I've seen The Clone Wars movie. I prefer to let George Lucas disappoint me in the order he intended."
  13. 3 > 2 > 1 > 4 > 5 I still love the show, but it does feel like it's kind of lost its way. Still plenty of time to find it again, though! And this is my first post on these forums. Greetings, fellow posters.
