Here's a bit of trivia for you. At the end of Blazing Saddles, when the Sherriff(Clevon Little) rides out of WB studios, he rides out from the entrance/exit onto Olive Ave. It's where you went in for a taping of TBBT. Also, just before the shot of the sheriff riding out of the studio, there is a quick shot of him riding past a sound stage, the stage is number 25, where TBBT was filmed. I just noticed that tonight.

There isn’t a known specific book given to Sheldon. It referenced several times(the first time in season 4 episode 15, I believe) But, it more of a joke, about they gave him a book to learn about sex.

Now, this is in general during an El Nino. There will be times when the high moves north or south and/or the wind shear weakens. When that happens, strong storms can hit Florida. Strong storms elsewhere are actually more likely because of the higher water temperature.

My daughter is in London for a conference. She doesn't want to come back to Florida. However, she did spend two days in Trieste, so she did get a taste of the heat in the Mediterranean area.

Yeah, El Nino will generate some heat, but it also disrupts the Atlantic Hurricanes, so there is some positives to the heat.

Yeah, it’s bad down in Sarasota, too. Our A/C went out and our daughter is there. Had to get it fixed, coils had a leak and so it was replaced under parts warranty. Still cost us $1500 for labor.

Fortunately, for me, I'm in western Virginia, in the mountains, where it's in the 80s. I have another week or so before getting back to the heat.

Could be the way they handled Melissa's pregnancy. My guess it would depend on when. Season 10? Probably would have hidden her. Early season 12, it could have been written in since they wouldn't have had to show the kids.

Penny opens her eyes and SMILES. I've always thought it was because she knew she was in Leonard's room and assumed she was in bed with Leonard until she saw the arm (recognizing it wasn't Leonard's). We all saw her reaction to Leonard starting to date Priya and her admission to Raj about her screwing up. Thinking she was in bed with Leonard knowing she was in Leonard's room is only natural. As a matter of fact, it's played a part in several of my fan fics.

It depends on what you mean by non-hookup. From Raj's description, it sounds as if she took a hold of Raj's nether regions, to try and place the condom on. This ended up causing the quickdraw portion of the program. As Emily pointed out they kissed, and they were both naked. Add in an orgasm, no matter how it was caused and that would be a hookup.

I seem to be a bit of an oddball in the Lenny world as the incident with Penny and Raj never bothered me when it came to Leonard and Penny, but Leonard and Raj was a different thing. In my fan-fics, Leonard is outwardly dismissive of having a problem with Penny about it (It does bother him occasionally emotionally). However, right after, in the show and in my fan-fics, Leonard (and myself) blame Raj.
Look at the differences in the reactions to each of them. Leonard doesn't blame Penny because he was dating Raj's sister, Leonard gave Raj permission to bring women into his bedroom, and he and Penny were not dating each other. He even brings these points up when she is thinking of leaving LA.
Leonard is upset with Raj, in the cafeteria with the line, "What is wrong with you." But the thing with Penny seems to have lessened rather quickly as later, during the paintball game, he is more upset with him because he didn't tell Leonard Priya was leaving, rather than what happened between him and Penny. Also, Raj, knowing that Penny was upset because she considered breaking up with Leonard a mistake, should have kept him from trying anything.

I have to agree with He Wolf. After season four, he was written so inconsistently that you never knew exactly what you would get from him. My point was that after that particular episode, I could never see Sheldon as naive. In earlier seasons, you could go with he actually didn't know because of his lack of social skills. Later seasons, he had to know, he had been told so many times and had the eidetic memory(another inconsistency?) to know better, right? Because of that inconsistency, they could have him using a metaphor for sexual a specific activity and still be clueless about the sexuality of a spanking.

I could never see Sheldon as innocent and non-understanding after The 43 Peculiarity. Anyone who could come up with a chicken pecking for corn analogy, while bobbing their head understands quite well what is going on.

Colonoscopies area normal for those that are over 40, here in the US. I've had one about every 5-7 years since I turned 40. They are a good way to check for colon cancer. However, I think this goes back to Chuck Lorre, who, in his thirties was a mostly out of work musician, trying to raise a family. He had intestinal problems, but couldn't afford a colonoscopy to check to see what was wrong. The only thing he could do was to go to a teaching hospital and get a colonoscopy, without anesthesia. They figured out what was wrong with him and it was treated. Although I think it left a mark on Chuck, (anesthesia free colonoscopies are not fun) hence all the colonoscopy jokes.

Yes, Shirley is still alive. She has Shirley, Ruby, Dumps, and King. I think her and Tom have a blended canine family as he has several of his own.

No, the planning for her Ranch had begun before she met Karl and it wasn't just Kaley. Kaley and Tracey Wade, her equestrian trainer, are both involved in running Big Bay City. I believe Kaley is the majority owner, but Tracey also is invested and brings a much broader Equestrian knowledge to the ranch.
Except on a temporary basis (moving horses around or going and returning from shows), Kaley and Karl never shared or owned a ranch together. As others have pointed out, protecting her assets (and Karl's, in his case) were the reason both of them had pre-nups drawn up.

We had rain and wind (my daughter mentioned someone who said, it was nothing, just rain with a name), but nothing really serious for us here, just south of Tampa. My neighbor (who is not here, they're snowbirds) had a window blow out of their lanai. I'm talking the frame coming out (their lanai was built in the 1960s) and while not rotted, the wood around the frame needs to be replaced. In between rain bands, I went out and put the frame back in, then screwed in some plywood over the window, to keep the rain out. I called to let him know and he mentioned making a trip down here next month.
