  1. To change an avatar is more easy than you think Willo. So no bother of mine. No attachment whatever to avatars. I like change I get bored very easily to go around for months with the same dress code. Yours at first was freaking me out a little...but now I've got used to it. So no whining on my part.
  2. I had to change it. Some complained that there is a five years old viewing this forum So the one with the naked girls around the piano had to go. Then I've found this one with Penny caught in the net...that I fancy more...and changed again
  3. @Willo The Queen's cousin has said she's not excited about the impending Royal Birth. I can understand what she means - part of me is very much looking forward to the birth, but realistically it's just a baby. And women have babies all the time, it's not anything special. Well, it IS special but is it really worth the big hurrah that's being made about it?
  4. I don't know about you Count Wally but in regard to the Bill-Murray-ish I like the dynamic and nonchalant acting of him. I watched almost every movie he was in as an actor and Scrooged is one my favourites. Surreal/scary-funny-fetish appeareances... you name it's all there!
  5. I was not aware of that either. A friend of mine, who's a publishing writer...she told me that is bad luck to release even a hint of a story in the making. She also advice me never to create a spin off from existing established public novel and so forth...there could be a kind of illegal breech of the author's copyright. Moreover to have a take-idea from and exsistent novel/story can rise all sort of problems like plagiarism..So a kind of minefiled to go there...
  6. Please Discuss :D 1. Don't imagine you can change a man - unless he's in diapers. 2. What do you do if your boyfriend walks out? You shut the door. 3. If they put a man on the moon - they should be able to put them all up there. 4. Never let your man's mind wander - it's too little to be out alone. 5. Go for the younger man. You might as well, they never mature anyway. 6. Men are all the same - they just have different faces, so that you can tell them apart. 7. Definition of a bachelor: a man who has missed the opportunity to make some woman miserable. 8. Women don't make fools of men - most of them are the do-it-yourself types. 9. Best way to get a man to do something is to suggest he is too old for it. 10. Love is blind, but marriage is a real eye-opener. 11. If you want a committed man, look in a mental hospital. 12. The children of Israel wandered around the desert for 40 years. Even in Biblical times, men wouldn't ask for directions. 13. If he asks what sort of books you're interested in, tell him checkbooks. 14. Remember a sense of humor does not mean that you tell him jokes, it means that you laugh at his. 15. Sadly, all men are created equal.
  7. WOW! A Royal baby is born! :D http://gossip.it.msn.com/foto.aspx?cp-documentid=256438266
  8. No it did not take me very long...and I did not time myself... while doing it...it just came out... from the top of my head
  9. Well that's your opinion...however, I do not understand your post very well...and what your viewpoint is...
  10. Yeah... watch out when wannamaker is about...
  11. A lot of people I know have this OCD condition to some degree. I am puzzled to read that you need a comic show for that purpose. With so many documentaries on TV where thay explain so much about it.
  12. Well right counterfacts in the counterfictional yeah
  13. Rachel... if you come to visit this thread...you must accept the fact that they are playing a counterfactual game.
  14. Oh dear...even you, Count Wally ? :o This is not right... How can the writers of the TBBT show make fun of someone with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder...I wonder I don't recall during my lifetime... comedy shows that to ridicule on purpose, just for a laughter someone with a particular condition like Asperger syndrome. I do not genuinely belief that is happening. What a deception!. Perhaps is not only Sheldon than exploited but the all show shouldn't be watched at all! How lame is that? Asperger syndrome taken for granted and fun...is that it?
  15. It's called: Sherminator's unerring logic :D
  17. AND I LOVE HIM THE WAY HE IS (please do not ever change him and do not make him obvious as anybody )
  18. Wilfred Owen quote: "What passing bells for those who die as cattle? Only the monstrous anger of the guns. Only the stuttering rifles' rapid rattle Can patter out their hasty orisons."
  19. However...it cannot be denied there's something not quite right about Sheldon...he is a giant-ass!
  20. Very good summary Gaqo What about Amy, eh? What class is she from? Working-class, middle-class? The writers gave the audience a lot to be guessed about about Amy background, eh?
  21. I've been talking a bit of Penny in this thread. It's time for me to make a little change Here is a song I'd like to dedicate to Penny For memebers who do not wishto hear the lovely music I copy and paste the lyrics here. But It's not the same as to listen to it. Venus, if you will Please send a little girl for me to thrill A girl who wants my kisses and my arms A girl with all the charms of you Venus, make her fair A lovely girl with sunlight in her hair And take the brightest stars up in the skies And place them in her eyes for me Venus, goddess of love that you are Surely the things I ask Can't be too great a task Venus, if you do I promise that I always will be true I'll give her all the love I have to give As long as we both shall live Venus, goddess of love that you are Surely the things I ask Can't be too great a task Venus if you do I promise that I always will be true I'll give her all the love I have to give As long as we both shall live Hey, Venus Oh, Venus Make my wish come true
  22. Anything wrong with his face Willo girl?
  23. @ Gaqo you problably are in a conflictual 'sit.com' yourself or maybe you like it here. Somehow you've found responsive and nice people answering you :D Speaking of which...do you reckon the TBBT writers do refer to Lacan or Freud or perhaps both for the plots fo the show? I definetely see the Freudian side aspect to the characters. For istance I think of Leonard as a fuddy-daddy-silly-billy character when shows so overtly wanting sex with no fear of exposing himself so badly. So needy!
