  1. jUST LET ME SAY THIS. You mean you have an interest in the intellectual circle of Jewish culture but not in the Judaism as such. Well I agree they have succeded to overcome the great adversity and pressure some nations cursed on them. They take a lot of pride in their jewish way of life.
  2. Yes, Catweazle, they were Jews so what? Of course most of them were native from that middle eastern land. Even a number of scientists with the greatest minds of the last century are Jews such as: Albert Einstein J. Robert Oppenheimer Edward Teller Sigmnd Freud I do reckon their mighty intellectual grandeur, but that doesn't necessarily mean I like or worship them.
  3. Sheldon has been changing a lot. I reckon from season 6 and in the last half of it. I even spotted a new gesture that Sheldon never acted before in > 6.16 - The Tangible Affection Proof. In particular when being unimpressed with Alex's first two thoughtful gifts she presented to him for Amy VD. He pinched his nose and pulled his hear just as clown would do in a panto! Is attitude is showing that is callous at times.
  4. Do you know gaqo? You're funny sometime and make me smile > that's why I like you. And so what... if people in this forum are playing to be CBS executives in disguise. Well let them be If you prefer to comment on the show and the actors with a different approach > like you say > artistic/creative content, ideas, humour, and great comedic interactions, well go ahead > who's stopping you? NO one! Or are they?
  5. Yeah the clock is ticking alright. They will place a bomb on the show :D
  6. This all thing is a shamble. What all of this means? Do it again if you really wish to prove something consistent to people.
  7. If you are talking to me gaqo prove to me that Jesus was born there. Can you mention a document or birth certificate? Only the gospels mention him and his miracles. Does the sacred shroud of Turin (Italy) prove that Jesus was in it? No scientists are never ever certain. No matter how much the scientific carbon-dating or whatever they have tested on that garment. The say that the imprint of a body of a man it's a medieval forge.
  8. I feel compelled to say this to Sherminator. Nobody can tell what is in the afterlife. We do not know because ever one comes back after the passing. It's a matter of faith only. No matter in what shape and form this faith is made of. Theologians are concerned with matters of ethics and religion belief. But even them cannot agree amongst themselves.
  9. ........ But then again what I am going to do during the weekends when small galleries are closed and I need to go and explore some of the museums in London if not there? It's prestige and wealth for a cosmopolitan city. It's a real adventure to visit the Tate Modern or Tate Britain by the Thames river. For me they are the best places by water to visit. It's true that too many visitors do cram around the exhibits and won't let you see the artefacts in peace. However it's true as well that I've had the most amusing encounters with complete strangers there and did improvise a small talk about what we were looking at.
  10. What a lame thing to say that her mother has a voice like Chippendale cartoon character in real life, if was me I'd keep it to myself
  11. HA HA tell me another one Sherminator! That is a gourmet dish and I am learning to make it myself
  12. Synthesis with words is my motto > NO!
  13. Gotcha! I expected Catweazle would say something like that or similar. Well the fact stands that Jesus was very angry at them and I think he was right. After all he was killed by them in the end. Regarding the invitation (ummm) I do not like brisket and shouting mothers so much. So I'd decline it but not an invitation from Simon Helberg, though. (By the way my real name is Hyacinth and I wonder if someone would enjoy one of my candlelight supper :D )
  14. Here a few reasons why I do not feel like to mingle with them Catweazle: What is a Jew? Speaking to His elect Church Jesus said, "I know your affliction and your poverty, but you have heavenly riches, and I know the blasphemy of them who say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan . . . Take note, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews, but are impostors who lie, to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you" (Revelation 2:9; 3:9). Speaking to the so-called Jews who were of the sect of the Pharisees (or Judaism) Jesus said, "You serpents, offspring of vipers, how can you escape being sentenced to hell fire? Therefore take notice, I will send you prophets, and wise men, and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify; and some of whom you will flog in your synagogues, and persecute from town to town, that upon you may come all the righteous blood that has been shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zachariah the son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. I assure you, all these things shall come upon this race" (Matthew 23:33-36). Jesus identified these so-called Jews as the descendants of Cain. Speaking to Cain God said, "What have you done? the voice of your brother's blood cries to Me from the ground. And now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened her mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand" (Genesis 4:10-11).

  16. Have any of you come across this short interview by chance? John Ross Bowie & Kevin Sussman on "Acting Up w/ Skyler & Steve" Because people don't know the exact definition of what a lisp is, and most people, me included, have never heard of the´╗┐ word "rhotacism," and so "lisp" has become a sort of popular usage for particular types of speech impediments. From what I can hear John Ross Bowie (5th on the tournament whom I voted) doesn't have it in real life it's just an act?
  17. "In the twenty first century, when PC games are not just aimed at the adolescent, they will become an art form. Like an interactive film in 3D! " Part of the Postmodern ideology, was the levelling of all art forms. Considering how much work, time and ideas, go into a situation comedy. Why is it still considered low down the hierarchy of art forms? @gaqo I need time to answer to these observations of yours.
