Maybe a skype session like she had in a previous episode where she told Leonard that she was proud of him for marrying Penny. As far as Lenny moving out of 4A it is about a 50-50 chance. I just keep thinking about what Holland said in an interview that there will be a big decision for them..........is it a big job offer for either of them Penny or Leonard, is it buying a house, or as all Lenny fans seem to want is Penny pregnant. I guess anyone of these will be a happy ending for Lenny Time will tell....the clock is ticking down
Saw an interesting article on screen rant. Kind of discussion what Lenny have on here. They thought the pregnancy talk was left open ended.

I just don’t think the Lenny story is going to end with a Leonard/Beverly story. I also don’t think Lenny is going to move out of 4a either. There is no reason. I don’t buy Leonard is going to get a job somewhere else after they made a big production to show Penny’s sales success. Status quo for Lenny IMO doesn’t make a good show ending. Not just for Lenny fans but viewers in general. People want a memorable finale but a few laughs too.

If they lived in Europe they might take classes in a foreign language together and enjoy using it as they build expertise and take trips abroad. As it is, what could they do that makes them looks as though they progress ? They are both working and interact with colleagues separately but have friends in common. They have things to talk about and go to places together.
Where have they gone together. It seems Howdette and Shamy have storylines.

It seems to me the story about Howard’s father should be left as is. If the father as a big of jerk as it may appear to be it would be a downer for the show as it comes to an end. If the father has a reason for how he acted it could question if Howard’s mother told Howard the entire truth. Whatever happened happened and if the truth came out does it makes things any better for Howard. Of course the other 6 know about the letter and if he wants to know something he could ask

Haven’t been on in awhile. Have a few comments:
1. Am I the only who could careless about the multi-cam record?I agree with 3kull about the quality of the show. Would have put more concern about the writing than patting themselves on the back.
2. I will go with April assessment of Saltzburg but I would question why they couldn’t go find, or afford, another consultant with a neuroscience background. Again Prady and Co. too busy patting themselves on the back.
3.As most others have pointed out this assymetry storyline has to end. I personally had little interest to begin with. It’s now moved to no interest. It’s taking up time for a show that’s about to end. Sad if you think about it.

If it's put in as a result of laziness, sloppiness and not checking facts, that's another matter. Bernadette's year-long pregnancy is an example. Had they mentioned the length of it in the script so that it was something to laugh at, that would have been OK by me. Announcing it on February 14th and giving birth on December 17th with no reference to the baby's arrival being three months overdue resulted in my begrudging the writers their fee.
There was no excuse since December 17th wasn't the first episode of the season.

I don't look for much realism in the show either as it is just for entertainment, I have enough reality in my own life. I miss Gabelhouser. Would have been nice to see him. Perhaps we will see him again before show end.
In terms of the show Gablehauser and Siebert really play the same role.

Even if she told him not to take her feelings into account, for that I kind of think husbands need to. Is this another thing that they should have discussed as a couple? I'm not understanding all of this. I need to see it.
On a slightly different topic many were okay on her decision not to have children without Leonard’s input. I remember the episode where she had her own investment advisor when talking with Howdette. They were married then . Nobody said nothing.

See above. You were their at the episode. I’m guessing it pertained to how Leonard always backs down and acts wimpy. It sounds like he is encouraged not to. He doesn’t. People always comment he doesn’t have a spine. This episode he appears not to and some complain. I remember Penny saying she liked take charge Leonard. Apparently not.

So, episode opens with The gang on the couch, similar to "olden times" :). They were discussing what movie to go to and where/when to eat dinner. Everyone had an opinion and Leonard did not want to eat late at night. Sheldon argued with him, Leo caved and the entire group told him he as "satisifier", as somone who does whatever anyone else wants to take the least path of resistance. Afterwards, Penny continued to push Leo to see that the group is correct and to start doing what makes him happy, and to not take penny's feelings into account for things he wants to do.
So, Penny tells Leo to pick an activitiy, and he struggles with that. He also shows Sheldon the "new strong" Leo and takes a new way to work (or home, or somewhere, I don't remember) which frightens Sheldon.What the real Pivot point of the episode in my opinion was that Leonard feels his job is inadequate, and he is unhappy. He writes a proposal to President Sibert (spelling) about leading up a plasma physics team, and he was not willing to take no for answer even if that meant leaving the university. Penny found out and was rather upset, as any wife would when her husbands job might be in jeopardy and he argues with her about it.
In the end, President siebert said no and Leonard walked out.
The show ended with Penny discussing what happened with Leonard and it was revealed that after Leonard walked out, Siebert said they didn't want to loose him so gave him a Co-lead position on a different "study" (don't remember what is was about). Leonard was happy with that and that he stood up for himself.
My take on this: I feel they could have filmed an alternate ending, where Leonard was NOT offered a different position and come to find out that Leonard is going to leave to go to a different university. IT would be a befitting ending to the show's dynamic, as he would be the first of the 4 to leave the university which could the the "end event".
Let me know if what I posted does not make sense.Thanks for the info. Two points though. Didn't Penny quit TCF? Doesn't Penny make the big bucks?

So, as for the episode, I will not give out a full Play by Play on what we watched, but will give an overview..
Previous taping. - Story continues in regard to Sheldon and Amy's Nobel prize, No finalization there. There was a personality switch between 2 main characters which was foreseeable within the subtext of the episode but was needed. There was also a rather "back to the shows roots" story involving Howard, Raj, and Bernadette which I found funny and reminiscent. No real shockers or reveals with Leonard or Penny.The taping we saw: Show took again a "back to its roots" Format, which I really enjoyed. Felt more like a season 3-5 episode than the current season's wind down. Leonard and Raj are the 2 main story points in this episode. The group confronts Leonard about an issue that should have been addressed seasons ago so we could have seen more organic growth but it is relevant to cleanly breaking the series. It's a good character development move for Leonard which could be the basis of the series finale IF they decided to develop it more. In WHAT WE SAW BEING TAPED (yes, I capped that for a reason), it seemed the development/story did the typical Birth, Growth, Death cycle you see in a 30 minute sitcom BUT I wouldn't be surprised if there was an alternate story line taped as I really feel this could be a great story progression to end the show.
Raj's story did have Anu Present but it had nothing to do with their relationship. It focused around Raj's work and his reputation within the scientific community. Was a great side story to the primary plot.You would think the Leonard story could relate to Penny and or his mother? I'm not sure how interested I am in Raj's work but I guess we will find out.
