I'm with you on this. However, the development was foreseeable for a long time. The igniting spark, which has marked this series, is unfortunately more and more painfully missed by many of us.

If the two main couples had more of an equal amount of stories there would be much less “shipping wars”. Unfortunately  that hasn’t occurred for 5-6 years.

I Want to see them both and most likely we will, unless Laurie’s schedule makes that impossible. I hope they are on-stage. The Skype stuff never really interests me much, which is probably why I have no interest in Raj’s parents.Actually I can think of one exception -the Priya breakup - which kind of showed the limitations of Skype.

Unfortunately IMO there presence will be related to the Shamy storyline.

Also, Halley’s fear of the dark leads to opportunity and conflict for Howard, Bernadette and Stuart, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, April 4 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Why is Leonard in this story? A better question why a Halley story?

    It's definitely overkill!

It’s overkill when one couple has two possible storylines and the couple you follow has none. jMO I could of explain it better so Joyce May have understood what I meant.

Don't understand the question, sorry. Do you mean in episodes with Raj and Anu, if they are the last couple ?

I'm sure many Nobel prizewinners  have children. I wouldn't call that overkill. Pierre and Marie Curie shared a Nobel prize as a couple and had a baby who grew up and won a Nobel prize herself.

I think I can answer both questions. Shamy has a Nobel Prize/possible Pregnancy storyline. Raj has the possible wedding/ non wedding storylines. I think the Howard/Bernadette story is over. House babies there done. As I said earlier what’s Lennies ending. Penny getting a job? Nice but as a couple not a big deal. I think 3kull point that two storylines for Shamy and nothing for Lenny is overkill in the eyes of a Lenny fan.

What's unsuccessful about the Lenny relationship ? They're married, eat and sleep together, have mutual friends, take part in activities together, get on with the in-laws, aren't particularly restricted financially and love each other.

While true that doesn’t make exciting tv. Would there be any reason to be in the last couple episodes?

I have always heard people say they wish the writers would do something with her career. She is now amazing at her sales job and she seems to enjoy it as well. I think the writers did a great job with the whole sales rep thing. She even is managing her own team of employees with great sucsesd and even job offers from other companies . I think this goes a long way from the old Penny is dumb jokes. I am proud of her accomplishments in this area. Queen of pharmacy sales reps. I hope she views herself as successful and capeable.

That’s nice and all that but IMO I think most people would rather that her and Leonard would have relationship success like the two other couples especially since the show is ending. At this point quite honestly the writers have done a shitty job.

I really thought that Christine would be seen again. I'm so happy she thinks she will be. That was fun to watch. Thank you, vonmar! I think I'm going to be very satisfied when all is said and done.

Hopefully she will be dead in an open casket.

  9. I would be shocked if Penny wasn’t pregnant unless somehow they could contrive another happy ending. I never understood the big uproar over HIMYM but they did have an alternative ending. I think the uproar would be worse if everything stayed status quo with Lenny

  10. There is two months to the finale. I’m guessing it’s not the last picture.

Without...writers seem pretty intent on this one.

There is no guarantee what’s going to happen. What seems obvious right now may change by the end. There seems to be a buzz about Amy being pregnant. It may seem obvious but it doesn’t make it true. There is phrase “It ain’t over till the fat lady sings”. I believe May 16 is when the fat lady will be singing. We will know everything then.

    Spoilers**

The episode that was taped last night is called The Inspiration Deprivation.

The guys that accidentally proved super asymetry have gone on a public campaign to get their names associated with the idea so they get the credit (cue in Ellen show bit)

The University has their own reception for academics to meet with Shamy on their work and the two guys crash the party and Sheldon holds his tongue at Leonard's pleading which results in Amy being the one to freak out in public.

Shamy agrees to do a sensory deprivation tank experience to try to calm down from possibly having the Nobel prize scooped from them. It helps Sheldon but sends Amy into a tizzy as the pressure to win as a female is high (only 4 nobel prize winners have been women). -her freak out and inability to keep her emotions in check *could* be another hint to a pregnancy!?

In other news, Howard buys a scooter (midlife crisis?) Which he then has to sell. To me it was a cute bit and a snapshot into Howard and Bernadette's home life.

There's a bit more but there you go. I had so much fun!!

    Thanks

If only!!  Leonard and Penny on their way to live in San Francisco, where Leonard can be tenured faculty and a department head at Stanford (or maybe Berkley!) and Penny can work for a larger pharma company!!!!

There is no back seat for Sheldon.

It all depends on how badly he wants his own kids on whether the gamble is worth taking or not!

JMO where Leonard should of taken the gamble was when Penny was trying to sabotage his donation. To me the story shouldn’t of ended with the call to Zack telling him he changed his mind and saying no to donating. JMO he should got to the point of actually donating. What would Penny have done at that point?
