Yes, she does. As Terrible Waitress said, she just doesnt show it in the same way Leonard does. I think her wearing that locket, keeping that box in her closet, keeping the snowflake by her bed and telling him that she is passionate about him, shows how she feels in the relationship. She asked him to marry her for crying out loud! Yes, she was drunk and done it out of vulnerability, but she asked that question, which meant it had to have been on her mind because things like that dont just come out of nowhere. What i think, and excuse me if this comes off rude but its something that has bothered me on this thread for so long, is that maybe some people should stop focusing on just Leonard in this relationship and continue to put all the fauts on Penny. Maybe try and see Penny's side to things and take note of the small things she does to show how she feels about Leonard because if theres one thing we should have learned about Penny its that she doesnt show her love and commitment to him and their relationship in big gestures, she shows it in the little things, like wearing that locket.

I wouldnt say it was a really bad patch for them, id say it was something that really got Penny thinking about their relationship which im pretty sure this is going to be too. Except now shes the one doing the proposing so she knows thats what she wants its just it took her being sad and a little drunk to actually admit it! I just dont see how this would turn out bad at all. They both obviously want to be with each other and dont want to break up so why would they? As proved by the Christmas episode, Penny literally cant imagine her life without him! She aint gonna let this boy go!

SO OMGGGGGG PENNY PROPOSED TO LEONARD! <333333333 I was sooo not expecting that in this episode and i cannot wait to see it on screen!! I have no idea how this is gonna play out in the next episode but i dont think they are going to end up engaged yet, though at the same time i really dont think they are going to break up! That is so not going to happen. Not now after she has just openly admitted to him that she wants to marry him! It's coming guys!! I'd put bets on that by the end of this season these two will be engaged and then get married and have smart and beautiful babies! I cannot wait for the rest of this season to play out it really is the best yet! These writers sure do know how to keep us hanging on and i keep my faith that whatever they have planned for these two will be just perfect because they havent disappointed me this season at all! Its gonna be a loooonnnggg wait till this next taping repoort!

I've been meaning to add my list of favourites to this for ages but i kept on forgetting cos thats just what i do. Anyway here we go, they are in no particular order ill just put them down as i think of them and almost all of them are Leonard and Penny fics. I guess i'll start with 'Hello Kitty' by Terrible Waitress. Because a story where Leonard cheats on Priya with Penny just makes me happy. I would say more about how much i love this story but i dont want her ego to become more inflated than it already is. Oh ill add 'The Smart and Beautiful Babies Compliation' as another one of her stories i particularly like. Because reading about Leonard and Penny having two adorable kids is just awesome. She has a bunch of little stories and one shots i enjoy too but id be here all day naming them all! 'The Chew Toy Revelations' by Tensor. Because getting inside Penny's head is always fun. 'The Perfect Proposal Ambition' by Angelic Guardian. Because its Penny proposing to Leonard in a way that could and should be done in the show. Keeping just the right amount of humour and sweetness Its awesome. 'Pulchritudinous Wreckage' by HooterSampzon13. Because it is pretty hot, but still brilliantly encaptures the Lenny relationship. 'Shipping Lanes', 'The Teachable Moment Extension'... All of 5mississippi's stories are fantastic. Although i admit i still havent found it in myself to go any further than the first few chapters of 'Ends Beginning' because this girl writes angst so well that im scared to read it through fear of turning into a blubbering wreck. I will at one point though! 'Rules of Engagement' by WeBuiltThePyramids. Because a one shot collection of different ways that Penny could propose to Leonard is just :wub: There are more of hers i like including The Sulphur Juxtaposition, The Good Old College Try and a few other one shot collections, but that one is my favourite 'The Sorrowful Sunshine Eventuality' by Hokie3457. Because even though its a sad story its still full of feels. Oh, and 'The New York Revelations' by this guy is good too 'The Elliptical Threads' by SlightlyOffKey. I havent even finished this one yet but what ive read of it so far is brilliant and definitely worth a read. Grown up Leonard and Penny <3 'The Maternal Excitation' by HaleyMichelle18. Because I really am a sucker for Lenny having babies stories. Although it hasnt been updated in like a month so *AHEM* if you read this girl, get a move on! haha Okay i think i have named all that i can think of, although i have probably forgotten a few. There are plenty more that i have read but i think this sums up my favourites. I pretty much read anything and everything by all of these authors i really would be here all day if i tried to think of and name every fic i liked! Now, there are a couple of Shamy fics i have read and liked too. One that ill pick out is Misophonias 'The Mendacity Revelation'. I read a good few chapters into that and loved it. Perfectly written Shamy right there. And at some point i'll catch up on reading that! I will! Um, there was another Shamy fic i read and really enjoyed but dopey me cant remember the name of it. In it, Sheldon shared with Amy that he was allergic to latex condoms and Amy told him she sneezed when she orgasmed... or vice versa. haha. i know, it doesnt bode well for me that this information is pretty much all i remember about the story! I think it was a 7 or 8 chapter fic, although it could have been less than that, and as with many others i only got a few chapters in before telling myself i would read the rest later and never did. I stil intend to read the rest of that so if any of you Shamys know what fic im talking about it would be great if you could let me know! I'm pretty sure it was on chat in here that i found out about it so yeah, one of you people know what im talking about! Haha. Wahey! There we go! I think im done. There are so many more stories i've yet to read but when im trying to write at the same time i find it hard. Maybe ill take a week or so once i've finished my story to catch up on all these ones i have started but havent yet finished! I really should.

The way i read this was that Penny was saying she knew how it felt to miss something more when she didn't have it than when she did have it. Sheldon lost the element like Penny lost Leonard and it wasnt until those things were gone that they realised how much they wanted them Pure cuteness in my eyes!

We probably wont stop until all the prompts are gone!

Okay, so, what i think might be cool right now is to focus on some of the positives that have come out of this season, since IMO, for us Lenny's it is one of the best yet. I think some of you might be getting a little hung up on what you see as bad things happening with them through overthinking every single thing and situation. The bottom line is, these two are doing brilliantly this season. We have had small fights, such as in The Scavenger Vortex and what's going to come up in the Thanksgiving episode, but so far, nothing detremental has happened. The writers are painting a pretty good picture of two people who love each other and are going through natural stages in relationships, it cant be all happy and fluffy all the time! The point to focus on is that no fight is lasting past the one episode. Even in the thanksgiving one they are shown to have made up by the end of it. Penny's growth has been the one thing i think has been repeatedly shown through this season so i honestly dont get why she still recieves so much crap on here. I mean from the very first episode we have her openly talking about how much she is missing Leonard, this from the girl who refused to admit at the end of season two why she had given him that really long hug and that snuggie. The same girl that would only talk about how much she regretted breaking up with him when she was drunk. Penny doesn't talk about this kind of stuff, yet from the outset we have her visibly upset over not having him around and talking about it. The Deception Verification was great for us too, having Leonard come home early especially for Penny and having her so fricken excited about seeing him was adorable. It just shows how much of a sweetheart Leonard is really, even if being 'romantic' wasnt all that fuelled that early homecoming. The Scavenger Vortex didnt have much for us, but the fact that they were able to have a bit of an argument without it turning into something huge was a pretty big deal for them. Ahh, now episode four; The Raiders Minimization. Yup, this one. <33 Still one of my favourites of the whole season so far. I loved seeing that natural shift in behaviour from Penny, from finding Leonards mothers book and good naturedly ribbing him (as, IMO, anyone close to you would) about it, to having that moment where she realised he was still genuinely upset about his childhood and doing anything in her power to make him feel better, showed great growth from her. She knew when to stop teasing him and in the end her efforts to make him feel better became manipulated. Not that we can blame him, he enjoyed the attention and wanted to milk it a bit, i think most of us in our life have done that at one point or another. But despite their fight, by the next episode they were snuggling on the couch together, watching as their friends around them had the lovers spats that they would usually have. They fought and forgave, big smiles all around. And her hands are under the blanket. IM JUST SAYING! Episode six. adgklajrlorkjndlkjgak;djlfgn;laerng. EPISODE SIX! This episode was brilliant in giving some sort of an insight into their relationship off screen. The trip to the bed and breakfast (I wonder what happened there....), the rose that Leonard put on her windscreen 'just because', the pregnancy test that Penny took that Leonard didnt know about but was obviously significant enough to her to keep a hold of, the fact that Leonard managed to write an eleven page letter to her saying thank you for sleeping with him the first time. This episode showed that despite the fights we often see between them on the show, that in between those fights they are a happy couple, as well as showing us that Penny never let go of Leonard. She could have thrown away that letter after they broke up, as well as the pregnancy test that im just gonna assume was taken during season three. But she never, she kept them all there in her closet, because it's him Adorable. Oh and lets not forget that for the most part of the episode she was trying to be romantic for him, and trying to show him just how much she loved him, like he always manages to effortlessly show her. She didn't quite manage it the way she hoped, but she tried and obviously put a lot of thought into picking out that book. So, she may have missed the fact that he had already bought it for himself. Maybe she was just so excited about the fact that she had thought of a gift that she completely forgot, or maybe she was just half asleep in that used book store, thinking of shoes and clothes while he was buying it, i know i would be! In the end it was the fact that she had messed up her original idea that led her to show him that box, which proved to be the most romantic thing she could have done, and that was evident in Leonards reaction to it. But the point to remember in this episode is that Penny was willing to step it up a gear, she was ready to push herself out of her comfort zone to show him she cared about him, if thats not growth on Pennys part i dont know what is. The Proton Displacement didnt have much in the way of lenny, unless you include the fact that in one of the last scenes she was seen walking out from his room, wonder what they were doing. hehe. The same goes for the itchy brain episode but i think the fact that Penny at one point is 'obviously wanting to make out' is pretty cool. She is still hot for this man, even when he is wearing a silly jumper! The point im making is that in all of these episodes, whether they have started out good and ended bad or started bad and ended good, they have all shown just how far these two have come in dealing with problems, so why should we expect any less from the thanksgiving one? We find out Penny made a stupid mistake during a wild drunken night in Vegas, while she was seperated from Leonard, and the episode takes us through them bickering over it (like any couple would) and ending up with them holding hands and Penny telling him the next time she gets married it will be for love. She knows she made a mistake, but is highlighting the fact that she is no longer that silly girl she once was in her early twenties. She's growing up, and knows now that marriage is no joke and that she only wants to be married to someone she loves. Or someone who is rich We have no idea what is going to happen in the episode after that one, but im sure, just as it has all season, it will be forgotten about. There really are so many positives to focus on this season, i dont see why we continue to fixate on the negatives. The writers aren't showing us a couple on the rocks, they are showing us a couple adjusting to dealing with a real relationship, one that neither of them have really been in before. And lets not forget, they are fricken adorable!! I did plan on adding more gifs and stuff to this post but it was taking forever so I gave up! I think i made my point anyway Come on guys.

People take time out of their lives to give us the general feel of what is happening in the episode, they dont have to do this for us. We cant and shouldnt expect them to remember every single detail. So if you dont like the somewhat lame story that is given through taping reports, stop reading them.

I literally have no other words for this besides no. Sorry, but no. I actually have to say im pretty shocked at how much this has blown up! I knew there was gonna be a bit of freaking out but this is much more than i expected! I just dont see the big deal. Bad choice of words maybe because i know Penny getting married is a big deal but i just dont feel the same as most of you seem to on here. I'm actually pretty happy with the overall episode. Sure, it could have gone better and i could have done without this whole 'Penny gets married in Vegas' thing, but it really isnt the worst thing ever for them. The scene with Zack made me laugh, honestly if she was gonna marry one of her exes im so glad it was him! Hes a complete moron but hes actually really sweet too. The way i see it, Penny got drunk and silly and thought that the ultra tacky looking churches were actually for fake weddings. Maybe Zack said they were and she believed him. One of them thought it would be just hilarious to have a fake wedding (possibly after listening to Bruno Mars' Marry You a few times!) the other thought it was a great idea, probably a decision helped along by tequila, or vodka, who knows, maybe both. I would say was gullible, not stupid. I'm pretty sure Penny knows that weddings in Vegas are real, but maybe she just thought that fake weddings in vegas existed too, is that really such a stupid thing to believe? Someone on chat on this forum once told me that Canadians dont use toilet paper and i believed them. My dad once told my mum that sausages grow on trees and she believed him. Believing that Vegas actually do fake weddings as well as real ones? that doesnt seem like such a hard thing to believe to me. At the end of the day, the whole thing meant so little to her, that after it happened she didnt bother about it. Because there was no way she would actually get married in Vegas to Zack, right? She thought it was fake and with not having anyone there to say, well maybe it wasn't she just put it to the back of her mind as something funny she done. Like getting drunk on space mountain. A funny story to tell, no big deal. I can completely understand the way Penny reacted when she found out, that doesnt mean it was right, but i understand it. She was embarrased. She knew she was wrong and she admitted that. She was going to take care of it, and she told Leonard that. When he persisted with it (which im not saying was wrong of him btw but ill get to Leonard in a minute) she got angry. It was bringing up how silly she had been again and all she wanted him to do was let it go, not because she didnt want to stay married to the guy, but because she was dealing with it, and she just wanted to stop talking about it. I cant tell you how many times ive got mad at people for getting on my back about doing something when i've said i will do it. It wasnt like she was doing nothing about it, look how fast she got in touch with Zack. She knew that she had to get that thing sorted as soon as possible and i love that she just got right on it. It actually shows some level of maturity from her to be able to just deal with it, instead of putting it off. She wanted that thing over, and she got it done. Now, Leonards reaction is something i can understand too. He was hurt and upset, and rightly so. It was a shock and he wanted nothing more than for her to get it annulled as fast as possible, and he made sure she didn't forget about it until she had. I just love that in the car after finding out what happened he just said 'you are taking care of this'. there was no discussion. He never said 'so, what are you going to do about this?' leaving what was going to happen next open to her, he just told her she was fixing it, with the undertone of 'if you dont take care of this, we will have a problem'. Take charge Leonard at his best and i love it. Ad so does Penny. The way it ended was perfect, to me, because she was letting him know that she had no intention of doing that again, that the next time she gets married it was going to be for love (and that she loves him and he will be the one she marries)! She didnt say that last part of course but I think its what the whole scene implies. I really do think a lot of you are focusing on the negatives here and forgetting about the fact that at the end, they were happy. He forgave her silly mistake and she made that promise to never do something so silly again. We ended on a good note. I see only good things for these two from now on, and with the whole marriage thing recently brought up again, it plants that proposal seed in our girls head. I dont know if we will see a proposal this season, but i think if this whole vegas wedding has any other reason for being brought up, its not as a reason to break them up, but to pull them closer together.

It was DE-COUPLING!!! in the Decoupling fluctuation too, but no one broke up. Just saying. Ill eat my hat if im wrong but im still staying pretty optimistic about this whole thing. As usual right? i know.

I can and i do! Okay, i cant and i dont, but i have said this over and over again, i really dont think there will be another Leonard and Penny break up. If anything this whole thing has been brought up to float the marriage thing again and possibly, just possibly bring about the Penny proposal. I can see that being the reason for this whole thing more than as a reason to break them up. I hope so anyway!

Come on blondie, lets go to Vegas and get married. Its not real everywhere, i promise....
