    Simon Helberg

From The Pasadena Star News How this ‘Big Bang Theory’ star came to play George Bailey in a new ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ production Simon Helberg steps out of the hit CBS sitcom into the Pasadena Playhouse holiday production It’s been a while since actor Simon Helberg stepped away from his day job on television and into a live theatrical production. But as Howard Wolowitz, the brainy character he plays on the hit sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” might say, even though it’s not rocket science it might be just as thrilling. “It’s always kind of fast, and that makes it kind of exciting and it makes it kind of terrifying,” Helberg says of the one week of rehearsal for the Pasadena Playhouse production of “It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play,” which held its first preview on Wednesday. “It’s a perfect blend of a deep paralyzing panic and kind of euphoric delirium,” he says of live theater. “It’s scary, but I think that kind of lends itself to the fun.” <full article in the link>

  4. The writers once said at Comic Con that sometimes the stories come out of the writers real life experiences. This may have happened to one of them once. Asking or being approached by someone they know to help them conceive.

    The Kominsky Method

From Variety Chuck Lorre Gets Personal as Kudos Pile Up for ‘The Kominsky Method’ With three SAG Award noms adding to the momentum of kudos recognition for Netflix’s “The Kominsky Method,” the show has quickly become the most well-received series in Chuck Lorre’s long career in television. It’s also among the most personal. “I wanted to write about getting older and all that that entails,” Lorre told Variety. “I wanted to write about people losing loved ones and dealing with health issues and grown children. I found this wonderful avenue through Netflix where there were no ratings restrictions and they were totally supportive. I could write without looking over my shoulder.” “Kominsky” revolves around the close friendship of an aging acting teacher, played by Michael Douglas, and his longtime friend and agent, played by Alan Arkin. In the past two weeks, the Warner Bros. TV series, which bowed Nov. 21, has racked up Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award nominations as well as an AFI mention. “Gratifying doesn’t even begin to cover how extraordinary this has been,” Lorre said of the kudos recognition. <full article in the link> Golden Globes - 3 nominations Critics Choice Awards - 2 nominations Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards - 3 nominations American Film Institute (AFI) -TV Program of the Year Honoree

    [Spoilers] Lenny: Season 12

This is the last thing that I want to see happen. In my opinion, Penny should only get pregnant because she wants to.
  10. Breaking the fourth wall is unprofessional and makes the entire production look bad. We get enough shenanigans in the bloopers and behind the scene photos. I want a well written/acted/produced and satisfying finale. It's what the show deserves.
