Hi everyone, this is a place that serves as a storage place for my drawings, so that everyone who's interested in them can find them easily and gathered in one thread. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My first drawing here, is the one I already posted in the "Fan Art Thread" earlier today. I've been working on this drawing since the early days of June. I was somewhat hesitant to post it, because it's quite a big departure from the usual Lenny stuff I draw (which you can see in the season 9 resp. season 10 Lenny thread). The original idea for this drawing is going back to a line from a fan fiction written by @5Mississippis (thank you for the original inspiration). In the course of dozens of reworkings, a serious case of artistical block, near mental breakdowns, real life issues and literally tons of eraser crumbs, the final drawing is worlds apart from that fan fiction line, and turned out to be a piece of art taking place in some kind of medieval "Game of Thrones" world. Ser Leonard rescuing the lovely Lady Penelope from the claws of an evil captor. Please don't interpret something into this picture. It's just a drawing in which I try to tell a story, which is a classic theme in literature, art, film and video games. In no way it is intended to endorse a certain gender allocation. I could reverse the roles, but I wanted to create a reminiscence of the previously mentioned classic theme, as seen in 19th century paintings like Frank Bernard Dicksee's "Chivalry" or John Everett Millais' "The Knight Errant".

greetings! I'm trying to find and buy the gray and black hoodie Leonard is seen wearing in multiple episodes. If this is actually 2 different articles of clothing, than just the vest would be helpful cuase i have a gray hoodie i can use. I'm planning on going as leonard for halloween parties. I was just thinking about back in early season 5 (was it?) when Leonard was thinking about cheating on Priya with Alice and Penny was basically telling Leonard to go for it, "...then sleep with Alice and lie to Priya..." or whatever she said. Was anyone else bothered by that? Why the HELL would she suggest to a friend to cheat on their lover? Quite frankly, I feel that came back to bite her in the ass when Leonard kissed that girl on the ship.

Hi everyone, I was a little bored stuck at home today, and have had a bit of a writing bug since starting my first fic, so decided to write out this quick one shot. It's related to my in-progress chapter story (The Friendship Reunification), and focuses on the back-story behind Leonard and Penny's first child. Hi, I'm new to the forum. I've been a fan of Big Bang Theory for years but I never thought about finding a fansite. The most I did was write my fanfiction and post it on FFDN. Unfortunately, FFDN has been overrun with Shenny stories and no one really wants to read about the true couple, Leonard and Penny. I want to get my story out there and get feedback, but it's hard when the only place I can post my story is in a crowd of Shenny-Shippers who mostly portray Leonard as crude and undesirable, which, if those stories are read enough, completely turn the reader off to any idea of Leonard/Penny. I hoped I could advertise my story here to get more unbiased reviews and feedback. Things get fluffy, things get sad, I have a few funny discussions thrown in (which I've been told in my FFDN reviews are spot-on with the characters). It's in the works, only 12 chapters, but I have been regularly updating two to three times a week. I would really appreciate people with an open mind giving it a try. It's not super long chapters, but it doesn't need to be because it's fanfiction. If I wanted to write a novel, it would be different. In any case, my updates are never less than 2,000 words. So please, give it a try.

I noticed something. Sheldon ends up attracting women without really trying and generally he doesn't want to do anything with them. When Howard and Raj and Leonard try to get women they are not always able to do so.

This has been puzzling me for a while, ever since I became involved with this fandom, I always wondered, does it have a name? what to we call ourselves as a group or individual fans? I always Imagined us being called "Bazinga Geeks" or "Bazinga Nerds" or "Sheldon Cooper's C-men" what kind of name are we known as? It would be fun Wouldn't it!

Sheldon doesn't seem to hold Penny to the same intellectual standard as Leonard does. Sheldon also seems to blame a person for spreading a lie rather than the person who is going to fall for it. Both Sheldon and Leonard have dealt with penny and the psychic thing. However Sheldon didn't seem to take out his disbelief on penny he took it out on the Psychic basically saying "Shes a dishonest con-artist that is misleading people in order to swindle them out of their money"(Im paraphrasing). He seemed to mostly take it out on the psychic reader. Where when Leonard heard it he took it out on Penny mostly. Now Sheldon did insult Penny in this episode a few times but it was about different things and he didn't take to heart as much as Leonard did. Sheldon just thought it was kind of silly. Leonard for some reason took Penny's ignorance as insult to his intellectual integrity. Now Sheldon seems to have simply accepted Penny is not as smart as them. Leonard seems to expect more from her despite this fact. Sheldon also seems surprised when Bernadette knows what hes talking about. As though he didn't expect her to have any idea what he was talking about.

I can imagine thousands of hilarious scenarios involving TBBT characters and volunteering gone awry. Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, Raj, Amy, Bernadette, and/or Penny should be shown volunteering somewhere. At least 1 out of 7 people I know in real life volunteer 4 or more hours per month at a hospital, hospice, food bank, Habitat for Humanity, Peace Corps, Big Brothers Big Sisters, or somewhere. I'd expect to see at least 1 out of the 7 main characters in TBBT do some volunteering. [edit Oct28: The question/topic is flawed. Bernadette has mentioned volunteering, but we haven't actually seen it in an episode] [edit Oct28: Sursonica reminded us that Bernadette has mentioned volunteering (Season 5, Episode 11, The Speckerman Recurrence). I had forgotten about that. In the middle of the episode Bernadette says, "Every other week I serve at a soup kitchen downtown". At the very end of the episode, Bernadette steals a pair of boots from a charity clothing bin and yells to Penny and Amy: "It's ok. I serve soup to poor people!"]

Okay, I know the odds of this ever happening is really, really low except maybe until we are in the finale? But if ever it does work, why would you think so? I always felt that it being broken was some part of narrative in the story. It also gives way for the characters to use the stairs which gives them time to communicate and stuff. But even for one episode, I think it would be interesting to see that elevator working and what difference would it make to the story. Sort of like the Cooper Extraction Episode. But anyway, in your personal thoughts with regards the show, do you prefer the elevator as it is until the end?

Is it just me or is anyone else annoyed by the amount of plastic they use on this show?? I know it's just a show and the whole getting takeaways is their thing but its A LOT of plastic. Plastic knives, forks, water bottles and plates in the cafeteria (where really in a college you'd get the real stuff) and they drink out of water bottles and not glasses at home and then there's obviously all the takeaway stuff going on? Would they not all be smarter than that as scientists and bring reusable water bottles places and use regular utensils and plates in college? Just wondering? Save the planet n'all no??

Considering the rollercoaster ride of the Leonard and Penny relationship, would you lose faith in the show if the writers decided to break them up again? I only write this because in other shows of this style, the two people you hope to get together in the end do not always end up as such, i.e. "The Wonder Years". So that being considered, what would be your reaction?

So I was thinking... As we all know it was meant from the start of the show for Leonard and Penny to go out, fall in love, etc. etc. Is it possible that Penny's second name hasn't been revealed, and will never be revealed because it will soon change to Hofstadter?

Over the last two years, I had noticed a change in popularity of the characters, particularly Sheldon. There was a time, when he could do no wrong but now there seems to be complaints. This newer Sheldon is not quite as popular. And since some people want proof if you voice an opinion now, I have attempted to get what little I can. There is a poll on the main site which asks casual visitors (you don't have to be a member) who their favourite character is. Lucky for me, the infamous Tripper archived the old poll, when he updated the site. Which presents an opportunity to compare old and new statistics. Of course, the new poll doesn't have as many votes at 28,698 to 90,031, but the percentages are what counts. The old poll was archived in Sept 2012. The new poll was started from then. I rounded the figures. Sheldon from 66% to 49% (26% down) Penny from 12% to 20% (40% up) Leonard from 10% to 16% (38% up) Raj from 6% to 5% (17% down) Howard from 6% to 4% (33% down) Amy coming in at 4% (new) Bernadette coming in a 2% (new) Stuart coming in at 1% (new) The old poll did not include the new characters but as they are only taking up 7% of the vote, this doesn't account for the big shifts. Penny's popularity as favourite character has gone up the most, with 19.5% of the vote, rounded up to 20%. Closely followed by Leonard. Sheldon, Howard and Raj have taken the biggest hits. Sheldon is still the most popular at 49% but he used to hold a massive 66% of the vote. So yes, I was right in sensing a drop. I will compare this again next year and see how these figures are moving. Another interesting thing to note (which I suspected) was the even bigger drop, in those who chose Howard as their favourite. I have added a short item to the Tales of Leonard's Father, his encounter with Steven Hawking. I think Leonard would probably want to sink into the floor during it. A random question I am sure has been asked many many times... What happened between Loenard and Stephanie. There was no break up episode (at least not one shown in UK) and she disappears from the series and no-one mentions her or verbally fills the gaps.
