Hi everyone, this is a place that serves as a storage place for my drawings, so that everyone who's interested in them can find them easily and gathered in one thread. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My first drawing here, is the one I already posted in the "Fan Art Thread" earlier today. I've been working on this drawing since the early days of June. I was somewhat hesitant to post it, because it's quite a big departure from the usual Lenny stuff I draw (which you can see in the season 9 resp. season 10 Lenny thread). The original idea for this drawing is going back to a line from a fan fiction written by @5Mississippis (thank you for the original inspiration). In the course of dozens of reworkings, a serious case of artistical block, near mental breakdowns, real life issues and literally tons of eraser crumbs, the final drawing is worlds apart from that fan fiction line, and turned out to be a piece of art taking place in some kind of medieval "Game of Thrones" world. Ser Leonard rescuing the lovely Lady Penelope from the claws of an evil captor. Please don't interpret something into this picture. It's just a drawing in which I try to tell a story, which is a classic theme in literature, art, film and video games. In no way it is intended to endorse a certain gender allocation. I could reverse the roles, but I wanted to create a reminiscence of the previously mentioned classic theme, as seen in 19th century paintings like Frank Bernard Dicksee's "Chivalry" or John Everett Millais' "The Knight Errant".

I started a new fan fiction. It's my first attempt to write something more dramatic. This story starts at the end of season six. Leonard doesn't go to a research trip on board a ship in the North Sea, but to the South Pacific. Things happen that change the lives of Leonard and Penny in a dramatic way. Chapter 1

Since I have not the slightest idea why and where the Lenny thread has disappeared, I’ve allowed myself to open this new place. Maybe it's about time to remember the formerly beloved story of Leonard and Penny, also the horrible consequences about the shabby decline of Lenny. Okay, so here it is. This thread is for people who like both Lenny and Shamy and wanna talk about both couples without any negativity or hostility towards each other whatsoever. I'm excited about these upcoming episodes because it's bound to change the dynamic so much! Now that Sheldon has taken the next step with Amy (yay!), I hope they're gonna move in together. One, because why the hell not? He wants to marry her. Seems like a logical step. And two, because Lenny could live alone together AND there'd be more Penny & Amy scenes (love them together since Amy's girl crush on Penny is one of my favorite things to watch - it's hysterical when Amy semi-flirts with Penny). Hope the mods are okay with this. Let's start the fun, people!

I was just thinking about back in early season 5 (was it?) when Leonard was thinking about cheating on Priya with Alice and Penny was basically telling Leonard to go for it, "...then sleep with Alice and lie to Priya..." or whatever she said. Was anyone else bothered by that? Why the HELL would she suggest to a friend to cheat on their lover? Quite frankly, I feel that came back to bite her in the ass when Leonard kissed that girl on the ship.

I will be hosting a fanfic chat for anyone who wants to join in. It will cover the hiatus period over this summer (between Seasons 6 and 7) so that we can try and make it through.
