It seems that Kaley is filming this in NY at the moment.  My understanding was that a little over a month ago she was in negotiations to star in this project with Pete Davidson. How did this project advance so fast?  My guess is that they had this story and Davidson all ready to go and just needed Kaley to agree and sign the contract.  Or maybe there was another actress for this role but when Kaley received all the award nominations they wanted her for this part to benefit from her notoriety. This is just speculation on my part as I thought it was kind of sudden she started filming this movie.

 

Kaley has posted on her IG a video of her and Pete Davidson at Great Adventure amusement park going on a ride called The Slingshot.  They were having much fun and holding hands as the ride was about to start......almost like it was a date.  TMZ also picked this up and showed it on their program. The last time I saw Kaley on a scary ride was when she was dating Karl and they were in New Zealand and he coaxed her to go on a bungee jump. I don't want to speculate anything as she is in a happy marriage but it is also an unconventional one.

Pete Davidson and Kaley Cuoco Rom-Com ‘Meet Cute’ Gets First Look, September Premiere Date

Pete Davidson and Kaley Cuoco’s upcoming romantic comedy film will premiere exclusively on Peacock Sept. 21, the streamer announced Tuesday.

Titled “Meet Cute,” after the well know rom-com trope, the film focuses on Sheila (Cuoco), a woman who uses a time machine to repeat a first meeting between her and Gary (Davidson) in order to engineer a love at first sight date. But when Gary can’t measure up to Sheila’s vision of perfection in the days following their magical night, she heads further back in time to shape him into her dream man.

“Meet Cute” is directed by Alex Lehmann, who previously helmed the films “Acidman,” “Paddleton” and “Blue Jay.” Weed Road Pictures produces the film, with Akiva Goldsman, Rachel Reznick Wizenberg, Gregory Lessans, Santosh Govindaraju and Dan Reardon serving as producers. Noga Pnueli wrote the script and executive produces with Davidson, Cuoco, Blair Ward, Art Robinson, Anders Erdén, Sara Shaak, Jonathan Taylor, Simon Fawcett, Martin Sprock, Brian O’Shea, Nat McCormick, Caddy Vanasirikul, Galen Smith, Marc Danon, Julia Kroll, Monte Lipman, Dana Sano, David Gendron and Ali Jazayeri.

“If I had a time machine right now I’d be torn. Do I skip ahead to our release date or do I go back and relive the joy it was making this film? Lucky for me it’s a decision I don’t get to make,” Lehmann said in a statement. “I’m excited for audiences to get swept away on this wild romantic ride exclusively on Peacock.”

I'm so torn about that film. As much as I love Kaley, i'm not sure it's a movie I'd like to watch. Sounds corny as hell

I might take a flyer on it only because it is Kaley and it has received alot of hype but I don't have Peacock service. Will it be on any other channels?

I'm not sure 😕 Maybe it will premiere on Peacock and after a while it'll be available somewhere else?

Apparently you can watch  Peacock programmes online . I found this " Peacock is free as a bird. You can sign up for a Free subscription and access thousands of hours of content. I think i'll do that just to watch Kaley's movie  

ETA: I've checked and I can't do it from where i live but it works in the US

Yes she seems to have the comedic talent many strive for. And I must say her dramatic talent isn't too shabby either. Think she is the whole package attractiveness, beauty, personality and charm. And I believe her generosity and animal rights advocacy is well documented too.

I agree.  She has everything going for her except her personal life. She seems to be a real life Penny in her relationships. Going from guy to guy. Hopefully this one will be the right one. She needs stability in her personal life.

I watched a clip of Tom Pelphrey's new movie "American Murderer" where he plays a real scary guy. It made me think he was in "Outer Range" a western and Kaley has said she always wanted to do a western. Wonder if they will ever collaborate on one.

Kaley was on Jimmy Fallon and was charming and bubbly as usual. She related how she met Tom and then Pete Davidson before they started filming "Meet Cute" She also looked gorgeous and stunning. She also narrated a story about her dress from the Emmys which I am skeptical to believe

I recorded the interview last night but, haven't seen it yet. Can't wait to watch it.

Finally watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Found out her had that front part cut before she she went with out for the cameras. Loved how she drew the corn maze. Also her self portrait. An artist, she isn't. Great show!
