I'm curious to see how Penny will take seeing Leonard with Priya (Raj's sister). It would be nice to see Penny look uncomfortable and be jealous considering she always seems to have the upper hand when it comes to Leonard and his feelings for her. Like Penny has said before all she has to do is click her fingers and Leonard comes a running. I wonder how Penny will react if Leonard's attention is not focused on her but on this rekindled relationship with Priya.

Dunno, but should be interesting! I liked Priya, she was fun! And pretty hot may I had! :) I've seen comments here that complains about the show going too much about relationship, but still, Priya was a nice add to those relationships! :)

FINALLY! How long have I begged the writers to let Penny do a little hurting? It's seriously degrading for a guy to run to a girl who barely appreciates him and only uses him for sex. Make it sting, Leonard!

I'd say Penny has done her own hurting (she expressed her feelings to Amy and Bernadette). Plus, she has only dated once after they broke up (Zack), and it was very brief. There's also no indication that she had sex with him. On the other hand, Leonard has dated (or at least had sex with) two women since he broke up with Penny: Dr. Elizabeth Plimpton and Priya. And I think the whole using each other for sex goes both ways.

Didn't Penny say in the Alien Parasite Hypothesis that she had slept with Zac, after Amy inquired about whether her "going out" with Zac meant "had sex"

I get the impression after Penny's booty call on Leonard in the Luna Excitation, is when Penny broke it off with Zac.

I am looking forward to seeing this episode. Seems that the writers have been dropping subtle hints and building towards the moment when Leonard finds someone else other than Penny to make him happy. He even was prepared to move to India so that he and Priya could be closer. He even told her that he "had no ties here"

Yes in The Alien Parasite Hypotheses Penny did say she had sex with Zack. So she has slept with at least one person that we know of.

We all know that Penny has strong emotional and romantic feelings for Leonard. But this will be the first time that Penny will have to honestly deal with these feelings due to Priya be around. Remember Leonard has a history with Priya and was willing to get serious with their relationship. Penny loves having the attention of Leonard and Priya is the first true threat to taking Leonard's attention from her.

I'd say the Justice League episode settles that one. Penny admits that she's not dating Zack but rather with him so that she doesn't feel lonely on the Holiday. That's an admittance of a casual fling which is pretty nothing but physical relations.

The point here is that from an emotional standpoint Penny has always had the upperhand because she doesn't wear her feelings her a sleeve the way Leonard does. With Priya back in Leonard 's life Penny is going to have to finally come to terms with what she threw away.

The thing is, we never see Penny hurt or jealous for more than a scene and even then its promptly forgotten. Leonard mopes for a lot longer. I hate when they make relationships so one sided like that. Besides, Penny has taken Leonard for granted a lot. Hopefully Leonard wont be intentionally spiteful this ep, but geninely cares for Raj's sister and Penny can see what she missed out on.

I don't think Leonard is going to be spitefull. I think he's simply going to be to distracted by Priya to notice how Penny is feeling. I don't think Penny is going to advertise her feelings in front of everyone. At this point the only people who know that Penny is having problems are Bernadette and Amy.

Not pointing a finger at anyone in particular here, but my point was and is that Penny doesn't have to be eviscerated for not being as emotional as Leonard. Besides, since Penny, Leonard has slept with at least two women - both of whom he wanted to pursue a serious relationship with. Should we be calling him a manwhore and root for Penny to get some more action to show Leonard what it feels like? That reasoning, like Penny should be punished for not being as emotional as Leonard over their break up, is fallacious. Neither deserve to be hurt or punished while the other is happy. That's not love justice; that's love retribution. And it's petty. Both sides are hurt.

I understand how you want to SEE Penny's emotions like we've seen Leonard's, but I don't think there needs to be a 'make her pay' or 'make it sting' sentiment behind it.

I get what you're saying, and I do agree. It's just I'm really sick of TV always showing these will they or won't they relationships where the guy basically grovels at the girl's feet in order for them to be together again.

I dislike how the writers make it seem that Leonard is some spineless jellyfish who will wait with open arms for Penny. She should have to work for it. I'm not saying that we have to see her cry like in the promo pics, cause I do feel really bad. But seeing episode after episode of Leonard bemoaning not having Penny while we only see and hear about Penny doing fine is irritating.

It is shown once or twice thar she does miss him, but its more like a passing thought. I say her seeing Leonard genuinely moving on to another relationship (one night stands nonwithstanding) to see that she has to really reevaluate what Leonard means to her. See that he is a catch to other girls.

That's all I'm saying. I just don't see why Penny must be implied to feel sad, but Leonard gets a ton SHOWING US that he's suffering. It's not really fair.

Exactly. I actually want to see the tears. I want to see the emotion, because without that the storyline becomes completely shallow and meaningless.

This is a sitcom, folks.....not a soap opera. There's nothing more boring than two people bonding

forming a romantic relationship. Look what happens to every show on TV where two people get

together or have a baby, etc., ratings go down. So one gets killed or dies of some creepy

disease. Ratings go back up!

How about CSI Vegas! Grissom got married but bug travels around the world while his wife continues

to be on the show. We never see him. Did you ever see Maris on Frasier? No! And Rose on 2 1/2 Men

couldn't have the more perfect husband.....Mr. Manny Quinn.....quiet and stiff !!

Yes it is a sitcom. But there is a rule that states that evey comedy needs a little drama and every drama needs a little comedy. Most of the time any growth you'll see in sitcom characters comes from the dramatic scenes.

Ratings didn't drop when Leonard and Penny got together intially. Ratings didn't drop when they broke up either. It's all in the writing. If the writing stays compelling people will continue to watch.
