Hi, I'm Maria, a big fan of TBBT, a  Nerd like those guys. My favourite characters are Sheldon and Raj. I've written two fantasy crossover stories about Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, Howard And Raj. Actually it's a crossover with the universe of board RPGs. Sheldon, Leonard And Raj are wizards in that 'verse, and Penny and Howard are warriors. Read, enjoy, comment! Here are the links:

Doesn't seem like anything I'm interested in, but good luck with the stories.

It could be tough, other authors are struggling to get any kind of reviews. For my last multi-chapter story, I was getting a rather consistent number of readers(indicating that number was reading) but very few comments.  In my experience , at best, only  around 1 percent of readers actually leave a comment, even back when the show was on.  These days its still only about 1  percent, and there are fewer readers, which means even less comments.  While I love getting comments, I’ve had to start looking at the number of consistent viewers as a guide as to whether people like the story.

Don't worry Tensor, I'll always read and comment on your stories. Unless you turn to the dark side and start writing Shenny. 😄

So true Tensor! This is my experience as well. Tell me, do you like my little stories?

To be honest, I haven't read them.  Several reasons for that.  I've been cast in a play and am working on my lines. Real life has been keeping me busy (A wife with a degernative hip, some work around the yard I have to get to, a drumming gig that is coming up, and I was in a recent car accident).  But, the biggest reason is I've been working on my latest story and I don't read while I'm writing, to keep from, even unintentionally, using someone else's  ideas.   However, as your stories don't seem to be too close to mine, I may get to them later this month, once I have my lines down and my drumming gig is over.

Sounds like life is keeping you busy. I'm basically a driver to take family members places.  Since I had this catheter put into my bladder,  I'm sort of useless for most jobs around the house. I take my morning walk at about 6 AM. That way no one can see the catheter bag. I'm self-conscious about that. But,  when life gives you lemons,  make lemonade. 😂

Sorry to hear about that Chucky  My dad had a catheter It was a little uncomfortable but he managed. He was a big bowling participant and he did not let the catheter stop him. He bowled twice a week with his work buddies. Always admired how he took it in stride and really never complained.  Be well and take care

Yeah catheters are annoying. Don't mind the catheter so much,  just the catheter bag. When I am away from home,  I have it in a carry bag so no one can see it. But they can still see the house. The catheter bag is what I'm self-conscious about. I've had it since last April,  so I'm use to having it. The wife calls the bag my little buddy. 😂

I'm not much on fan fiction in general. Have read a few stories linked to the forums and they're usually entertaining.

This author did a pretty good job remolding the TBBT cast into fantasy quest type heroes. The only thing that bugged me was the characters saying they were casting spells for a specific number of damage points. I've read more than my share of D&D oriented fantasy and played plenty of RPG table games. No one ever says anything like that. Writers have the freedom to make spells as powerful and effective as they like, and Dungeon Masters regulate those things with dice.

All in all, they were decent stories with an imaginative twist on helping Raj overcome his selective mustism.

I see your point. I read Lenny fanfiction stories. I don't read Shenny stories at all.

He-Wolf, in the games I play, such as Capharnaum and Mazes and Minotaurs, spells take a specific amount of power points, so I'm going by their rules. This 'verse I'm describing is basically M&M with my own twists. I'm glad that you find my stories enjoyable, do you have more questions or comments?

And yes, I found that in M&M 'verse there is a much better way than a broken heart to deal with selective mutism))

Thanks for the clarification. Would still question the realism of the actual character saying out loud what spell they're casting at what power. Just seems odd in the heat of battle for the character to say, "I'm casting confusion for 3 points! Take that you beast!" Also, as I mentioned in the review Penny should have a more substantial weapon than a dagger. She's a warrior and a dagger is a defensive weapon. Not a fitting blade to take into battle. And, since you asked, the three doctors of wizardry seem to have a very limited spellbook. I know they're young but they aren't apprentices.

Not trying to be picky but you did ask.

Good stories and I'm sure you have more to come.

Well, this 'limited spellbook' is in M&M rules, sorry. And Penny is a thief, their starting weapon is a Dagger. Later Penny will have a sword.  As for calling the number of power points in the heat of a battle, well, artistic license, it sounds more impressive this way))

And yes, of course I have more in the works, writing another sequel now. Thanks for the feedback and the reviews))
