Penny - Reap what we Sow - early s1-s5

Is this a good example of you will reap what you sow?

Have the tables turned on Penny?

 

Her background: she was high school pretty girl back in highschool (who probably used her looks to her advantage), who didn't abide by rules, probably a lazy student and revealed in an episode to Bernedette and Amy that she may have been a bully. 

I say that because she appears to be the butt of jokes due to her lack of knowledge, her careless, she regularly seem to need financial support from "nerds", she was a struggling actor and had low position. Didn't seem ambitious like the others. 

While the "nerds" who were picked on had the last laugh. 

Interested in your views, I am not bashing Penny I enjoy her character and development, I appreciate all the dynamics of their lives, aspects.

She was certainly careless with money. I think she never has any money because she blows it on wine, clothes and shoes. I don't recall the episode name, but she bought a pair of high heeled shoes that she said cost as much as her rent. In the episode where she accidentally shoots Sheldon's spot with a paintball gun, she's in the apartment so Leonard could unfreeze her laptop computer where she had 1,500 dollars in shoes in her virtual shopping cart.

She is by her own admission a terrible waitress, so that would affect her tips.

So true.  But, she was adorable and a good friend.

From the pilot episode Leonard saw her as the perfect specimen of a woman, and she was. However, she was portrayed as rural, not as educated but adorable with alot of personality. Over time the nerds, especially Leonard, turned her into a mature, responsible adult who became a married woman with a child on the way.

This agree with I like the character so much more than Katie. 

I appreciated how Penny, comforted when he got dumped.

Penny tried to avoid upsetting Amy which show she cared about Amy's feelings.
