Shel_Ra_Ho_Le Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 If you live in the vicinity of NY, go see Jim Parsons in The Normal Heart. I haven't seen it because I live in Cali but I'd do anything to see this play. I've heard rave reviews and its only in Preview mode. Opening night is April 27th and then we'll hear the REAL views from the pros about this amazing piece of art. And I hope we hear a little Parsons love too. http://www.playbill.com/news/article/149992-STAGE-TO-SCREENS-Jim-Parsons-of-The-Big-Bang-Theory-Makes-His-Broadway-Debut

Penny Lane Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 What kind of role is he playing? http://www.thenormalheartbroadway.com/ The play is getting absolutely rave reviews all over. And with good reason. It's brilliant. I went to the preview on Easter Sunday and still can't stop thinking about it. Jim was brilliant. The role he played was that of a really sweet and caring person - the complete opposite of Sheldon in fact!! And his comic timing (there were a few funny moments in the play too) was impeccable, as always. Oh, and he looked good enough to eat :-D gobble, gobble

BazingaGirl Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Looks like a great show. Pity I live thousands of miles away here in New Zealand. It would be awesome to see Jim live. I'll just have to make do with the internet and television.
floyd_girl Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Same problem, and going to the States just to see Jim in a play, it's a bit overreaction.
