I guess New Episode Ideas includes Ideas we'd have liked to see at the time but it's too late now?

It just occurred to me that there was a missed chance for a good running gag when Howard returned from space: Howard was miffed that he didn't get enough attention. A common theme in SF is that a space traveller returns and has been taken over by an alien being. It could have been quite funny IMO if whenever Howard mentioned space the guys had pretended to believe he was really a dangerous alien.

The gang travel to Seattle for a vacation

Lots of Blu screen ir or they actually go on location to film a lot of this

lenny break off and  go whale watching in Puget Sound. It starts out very amorous with a night at sea on a nice yacht with a few other vacationing couples. The next morning Penny is blown away by a pod of whales and thanks Leonard for giving her a life she never imagined. That afternoon just before a beautiful sunset Penny drinks a few glasses gets "seasick" and this time it's Leonard who isn't comforting. He is innocently busy taking in the sunset and killer whales. The handsome captian of the schooner is right at her side nurturing on a long sail home.  Leonard does earn brownie points for not being the slightest bit jealous. Not once.

Penny is estatic.

Raj and Howard freak out getting Vertigo at the Space Needle and Bernadette causes a big scene.

Shamy fake being afraid to go up the needle and ditch the rest and secretly vist the Sci Fi Museum nearby.  As the security are closing up Sheldon makes an off hand comment on how the robot from Lost in Space was his dream companion growing up. When Amy doesn't get it he mimics Danger AMy Farrer Fowler and shakes his arms robotically as they accidentally approach her breasts. The robot comes to life blinking and comes up behind her at the same time pushing her into Sheldon outspread cupped hands. A Shamy robotic sandwich. This turns Amy on big time.

Amy in her plight to be seduced sneaks back into the closed museum, outruns security, hijacks her prize and escapes picked up in the arms of said wildly blinking robot and sneeks him into Sheldon's hotel room in the dark and the hanky panky goes astray when the robot tangles up seductively with Sheldon. First he thinks he is dreaming. The others burst in to find him in a compromising robot state ( his nearly identical robotic personality well portrayed to the hunk of metal and rubber robot) and  Amy is in the corner in convulsions. He questions his manhood and sexuality and blames Amy for tormenting him.

Some suggestions for storylines would be: Have Penny win a sales award and give a speech at a banquet with all friends attending, Have Priya return for an episode to advise the boys on their military contract and also find out that her brother "hooked up" with Penny one night. This should be an interesting comedic situation, Have Penny on one of her sales calls receive unwanted advances from a doctor and struggle to tell Leonard about it, Have Penny and Leonard make a visit to her family in Nebraska. Would be hysterical to see Leonard on a farm. Believe these storylines would be most interesting to see and keep the show moving forward

How about this: 
Sheldon flight with Amy to Texas for Christmas so all the family can finally meet her, There they are all, (meemaw, Mary, Missy and her husband, George Jr with his girlfriend .. ) and the Sheldon´s little nephew, this one adores Amy, so all the dinner is about a lot of questions of kids and weddings ... 
This disturbs Sheldon and he goes out, Amy goes after him, they are talking out of the house, She thinks that Sheldon doesn´t want these things and she is telling him that she can wait how always she did, but in reality he was upset because they ruin his surprise for her, the proposal.

This storyline would take several episodes. Penny returns to acting and gets a leading role in a low-budget, quirky TV comedy series. She is brilliant in the role and the programme becomes a cult success and then a mainstream success. Penny is ecstatic. But then due to the machinations of an evil studio executive an unattractive, inferior actress is added to the cast and her role is expanded to squeeze out Penny's. Penny is puzzled and unhappy and of course discusses what is happening to her and how she feels about it with Leonard frequently and at length.

This story may seem far-fetched, but so have some that have been done. The advantage is that it would allow KC to portray Unhappy Penny, which she does so well, without its being about her relationship with Leonard.

Though I wished Penny had some succes in acting, I think it is too far away now to have a come back. Your idea (@JohnPhD) would have had a chance in the episode where Lenny went to the convention. But as expected the writers blew it and choose the easy way of " the king of nerds telling the nerds how to catch the hot blonde".  Anyhow I think if the writers want Penny has some fresh storyline in her job, I would suggest in the creative or counseling sector. Actually her taking psychology classes wasn´t a bad idea, because she is sometimes the psychologist for all the nerds. But somehow the writers didn´t find it interesting enough. But it can be tarot cards, yoga or even some handcrafting stuff. Because if I recall it, she had made those flowers, which was a great succes, but there was no plan behind it. If that in mind she can try that again, but with a actual bussines plan. And she has some sales experience now. So she knows how to convince people.

To be honest . I'm not sure why ppl were surprised what happened at the convention. Penny herself even said Serial Apist was awful. So you wouldn't expect anything less from geeks living in their basement. I wasent surprised. Penny's acting career has been dead since The Barbarian Sublimation Season 2. Love that episode. So she's been type casted for years. So I don't think it was a missed opportunity. If Penny was looking for validation she would be looking for It in the wrong place imo.

Im not so harsh to her acting as JE7 is Haha. Real life bores me TBH. I wouldn't mind, or be against her acting returning persay. If It's done right. Theirs nothing wrong with chasing your dreams in reason. She's 30ish now, married. So I don't expect her to chase stardom. But balance is key. And I see no harm if it's a small part. Or short term. I think go back to Theatre. She did good their. 

As for other episode ideas. Would love a dress up episode like Halloween again. Lenny go to Nebraska for Christmas or something .

Penny accepts an acting part of being  an aspiring actress from say Iowa in a sit-com where she moves in next to 2 awkward geniuses from say MIT and they have two colleagues, where Sheldon and Leonard and their friends are called on to assist in expert technical support for the show for the not so genius actors. 

Situations with writers, producers, Relationships, actors and of course Sheldon.

Howard has had enough of people tormenting him for not having a PhD, so Howard decides to go back to college and get his Doctorate. Howard has asked Raj to help out Bernadette, but Raj can not because he is going on a holiday with Claire/Emily, Stuart offers to help out Bernadette and Howard accepts.

May I suggest just a little gag? not a full plot, just something that can be mentioned in some scenes: It turns out Lenny went to some parent training meetings to help them cope with Sheldon's "mall tantrums" or other child-like eccentricity    one of them can mention it as a "by-the-way" and then maybe Amy says that it (said problem) did improve a lot. Maybe in another scene they can have a child-parents like interactions showing Lenny applying what they learned haha perhaps Howardette could learn from them (that would also be a call-back to when Sheldon fell asleep on Leonard making Howard say "you got to teach me that" or something similar)

I love The Big Bang Theory. It is a series where it is very easy to be reflected and create empathy, and I would like to share with you some script ideas. My proposal begins with Stuart getting an exaggerated amount of money. It can be by winning a lottery or by receiving a millionaire inheritance from a distant relative. Stuart is a character who has suffered a lot during the series and deserves a reward. With the money he decides to reopen his old comic store, but this time turning it into a freak sanctuary. The store is a success and among the brilliant ideas that has created a YouTube channel, or similar platform where presents the novelties of your store, as well as interviewing celebrities from the comic universe with.

In the casting for presenters is gathered a diverse group of people; Extravagant, freaks, models and even real and well known TV professionals. All fail until they appear, with no intention of winning Penny and Amy Farrah Fowler. They are presented separately and thanks to their knowledge of the freak world acquired during these years with their companions of flat, the two arrive at the end to get the paper of presenters. They compete for the post creating between the two tensions and funny situations, until, in the end, the result is that the team of Penny and Amy as hosts is the best result.

Penny takes care of the formal part of the program and Amy gives the point eccentric and fun. The program succeeds. Penny and Amy are becoming famous little by little. The format and benefit of including this program for the series is to bring cameos with actors, famous actresses who come to promote their series or film, thus making The Big Bang Theory the first series that promotes other series within itself, For example future or current projects of CBS, Warner, etc ...

Morally Penny must triumph as an actress. In the real world it does not happen, it is true. But fiction is built on illusion and we must always keep the illusion alive. And TBBT fans deserve to believe in happy endings.

Taking advantage of the pull of the series, four teenage girls move downstairs; Two Penny fans, and two Amy fans. Four teenagers who remember Sheldon, Leonard, Rajesh and Howard in their beginnings, but with totally different stereotypes to the protagonists, less in a chapter where the adolescents can be characterized of the four protagonists by Halloween or by another significant celebration. Penny and Amy must deal with them, with their disputes and their approach to life by taking responsibility for the young women. Even in a chapter, on the floor opposite you can change a guy that likes them all, in a clear tribute to the TBBT pilot chapter.

This gesture wants to express the fact that The Big Bang Theory will never die. There will always be a groupie a fan, or a wonderful freak ready to break with the traditional and keep ahead with the illusion of their convictions. We deserve it, and it is dedicated to us; The wonderful mediocre people of the world that make this planet a better place.

For Leonard and Sheldon the conflict will be the triumph of their partners, creating in them different types of jealousy. Leonard a moderate jealousy by the amount of handsome and famous men that surrounds Penny, and Sheldon by the envy of which Amy triumphs before him. I would continue to maintain the healthy relationship of love between the two couples, but I would put a few drops of spice so that their relationships do not fall into monotony.

For the four male protagonists would continue the line of the project of the terrestrial geolocator military, including to Rajesh to the project. It can be very funny the contrast between the seriousness of the army and the innocence of the protagonists. Also to the plot would include more didactic components, by now it is not enough that the protagonists are ready, but must prove it. It would include experiments and explanations to these experiments. Brief and fun as so far, provoking fun but at the same time the sensation to the spectator to have learned something important.

The critical and critical part is in enhancing Rajesh's relationship with Issabella, the cleaning lady. By itself, raised on paper is a difficult situation, and will bring queue in the fans. She is a mature, foreign, divorced woman with a 19-year-old son. Some fronts that arise are the opposition of Issabella's son, the dislike of Rajesh's parents, Rajesh's sister's disbelief, different tensions and opinions of their friends. And finally the subtle rejection of society in general to the new. This, coupled with its obviously different ethnic status, and also focused within a country totally alien to the cultures of both, will create a focus of social problems and a debate which needs to be addressed. But in the series only the problem must be presented in a very subtle and subtle way, without ever forgetting that The Big Bang Theory is a sticom of family entertainment, far from speeches or lectures.

Bernadette and Howard would place them in everyday situations of first-time parents, away from that strange square and a little sick with Rajehs and Stuart. There are thousands of fun situations relating to other first-time parents, doing comedy of the day situations, meetings and events, pediatrician consultation, birthdays, playgrounds, as well as a variopinto group of courses with super revolutionary techniques for new parents . Also everyday situations such as swimming class for babies, yoga classes, interviews for daycare centers with teachers and disparate parents. It would even be well for third parties to interfere with the couple, testing the foundation of marriage; Perhaps a very attractive young single mother, from the profile Howard has always drawn. Or a substitute teacher Bernadette feels terribly attracted to and has possibilities.

Well, Amy has already implied she's not overly bothered where they live, and Leonard has already acceded to Penny's wishes, regarding the bedroom decorations.

I think Amy would look adorable as Wonder Woman AND I think eventually the couples will switch back apartments because obviously the first couple to get pregnant will need the extra room, and I'm pretty sure it will be Shamy.
