oh! I hope it airs, or at least that they air reruns rather than replacing it with another show...i checked cbs.com and it says that it is scheduled to air but that could always change-- i heard a bunch of stars, including some fr TBBT, will be out picketing today...

Hmm, I dunno. Don't want Sheldon and Leonard to really have a fight. Hopefully, there won't be TOO much drama.

I went to see them film this episode last Tuesday. There wasn't too much drama at all. It was just very, very funny. So no worries, it's a great episode! :icon_biggrin:

I saw this episode when at Warner Bros. to watch the NEXT episode being filmed. They showed it to us while we were waiting. It was REALLY funny!! Sheldon keeps trying to "Blow people's heads up" with his mind...just like in the movie Scanners. He and Sheldon get into this hysterical fight, first verbal, then physical, ( Think Colin Firth and Hugh Grant in Bridget Jones's Diary/ Edge of Reason) which Wolowitz captures on his cell phone camera and then posts to YouTube where it becomes a featured video. The next episode after that will be called "The Loobenfeld Decay" Basic plot-Leonard and Sheldon actually LIE to Penny rather than go see her sing (very off-key) in a theatrical production. Sheldon begins to obsess about the lie, and keeps messing with it making it more and more elaborate to the chagrin of Leonard, who ends up doing the very thing he is trying to avaoid.

Kerryl64: I went to see them film this episode, but since I haven't seen the final version I have a question for you. When Sheldon and Penny are walking up the stairs together Sheldon says one of two lines, and I'm wondering if you remember which one they decided on?

Was it:

A

little misunderstanding? Galileo and the Pope had a little misunderstanding!

or

A

little misunderstanding? Misreading my grandmothers living will was a little misunderstanding!

Personally, I hope they chose the Galileo one. Both made me laugh, but the first one just seems like a joke only this show could get away with. Anyway, do you happen to remember?

LuckyM, The version we were shown had the Pope/Galileo line....I thought that show was hilarious. Actually, I liked that one better than the one we saw filmed a week later, but they do a lot of fiddling and changing so who knows how it will end up?

The first indications of last night's ratings are out, The Big Bang Theory was second in the 8PM slot and got a 5.4/9 rating. How I Met Your Mother which took Bang's old slot posted a 5.7/9 rating. We'll have more ratings information later.
