I have the theme music for all of the shows listed, with the exception of Saphire & Steel. Sad I know, but I would be very happy to obtain a copy of that. :icon_redface:

I see the influence of my favorite childhood shows in many many modern shows and take some pride in identifying them, much to the irritation of those around me ;)

:D ThunderBirds isn't on your list, but you a correct on Battlestar Galactica ;)

AH I thought you meant from YOUR list haha. Ok in that case Mork & Mindy?

Yep, Definitly Mork & Mindy, also MASH :) Did you know that Alan Alder based the humor of Hawkeye Pierce on Groucho Marks, and the show went on for 8 years longer than the war its self :p

Alan Alda made it very clear in MASH that he was a Groucho fan. Numerous episodes feature him mimicking him and wearing the glasses/mo/cigar get up.

MASH only went bad when they let Alda start directing and have his rl dad appear in the show from time to time.
