An interesting way to get Sheldon to experiment with a physical relationship. Clever idea.

I assunme the title comes from the purchase of a spitoon as a prop fot the poker game they are obviosly playing.

Flaming? Due to the substitute they use for tobaccy?

If Sheldon gets with someone it should be with someone else don't see the chemistry or attraction to her on his part, they must be running out of ideas if the start having episodes about a charcter that is new to the show, she's not the core of the show, have her in the episode but not about her she's a minor character just like Bernadette is

They need to have episodes about the core 5 and with the minor characters have a focal point from time to time. Not sure why Stuart would ask her out she's not exactlly attractive.

Just saw the commerical there's some shenny in it, yeah.

Amy used to be a minor character but she has become pretty much a main character this season, same as Bernadette.

Personally i am loving seeing some development with the characters. All the characters except sheldon seem to have developed some through out the series.

They're not the core, it's one that to have them develop the show with new characters but they're making it about Amy she just had an episode about her, don't remember them doing this for bernadette which is a better character.

Not sure why Stuart would ask her out she's not exactlly attractive.

So you think only "attractive" people have the right to be asked out?

Sorry, but I can't believe how shallow and narrow-minded that sounds.

Maybe that explains why you can't see how obviously attracted is Sheldon to her.

In real life, men are very shallow on first date choices. Men usually ask a woman out if she is attractive to him and/or he thinks there is a reasonable chance he will score with her. Later on, we develop relational friendly emotions. I can see Stuart thinking, "hey she isn't exactly ugly and I bet she is desperate enough to put out." Sorry, that's man thinking and nothing will ever change that.

Disagree. Guys (and girls) may go for people who are attractive, but they usually stay within a range based on how attractive they are themselves. I would say that Amy is much hotter for a girl than Stuart is for a guy so she is definitely in the running for him.

I disagree 4of N . I am a fairly confident guy and I will go with what's attractive to me.(usually Asian or Latino women) A really hot blonde that a lot of guys like, I will not give a second look most times...and then THEY hit on me. It's like too opposite spectrums...lol

Well I guess penny is turning into a drunk now, I guess one(raj) wasn't enough since she was drinking a lot in season 4 and in a few in this season, if not for the end of the epsode I'd think they were hinting at something with penny and sheldon they all ready had them pretend to be a married couple.

On the opening credits did they change it because penny is now wearing a red shirt it looked like what she wore in s5e1 when she had been wearing a pink top just wondering if anyone else had noticed this.

I see them having raj being able to speak to girls maybe towards the series end, he's been around penny for 5 years, Bernadette 3 years and amy 2 and some point he'd get comfortable around them to talk to them.

I would say that this is a continuation of last week, where Penny asked Leonard out as a "friend" once Priya was out of the picture, to see where things might lead. That was such a disaster that now, not only is Leonard as boyfriend out of the picture, Leonard as friend looks pretty rocky as well. No wonder the girl drinks. She will be banging someone soon, per her "I drink and have random sex when I'm unhappy" mentality.

That leads to the constant girl on girl references from Amy. They are in every episode now. I guess the Raj-Howard gay storyline will be kaput after the wedding, so they need a new one to appeal to that demographic.:icon_rolleyes:

BTW, ever notice how there is always a "hot" one and a "not so hot" one? :icon_cheesygrin:

I think the writers are setting up the "Penamy".

I predict that if the girls go to Vega$ for the bachelorette party, Amy and Penny will wind up married after a Drunken Penny binge assisted by some classic Frustrated with Sheldon.

If you think Penny waking up next to Raj was funny, wait til you see that! :icon_eek::icon_biggrin::):icon_neutral::icon_confused::icon_frown::icon_cry::icon_mad:

The Sheldon/Amy stuff was like watching turtles trying to mate.
