If Sheldon has sex, he will still be on the way to proving string theory, he will still make fun of Howard, he will still be a condensing asshole, he will still make fun of Leonard's career. I actually do not think it will change him in a major way.

He might be a little embarrassed if/when the guys find out... :p

What on earth is going on here between djvang and MJ? :icon_lol:

Yes, I would like to see Sheldon sleep with Amy, in the literal sense (in the sense of jeanalice's manip). :) No, I wouldn't like to see them 'sleep together' (in the figurative sense) any time soon. Definitely not for another full season.

A kiss would be lovely, though..

Oh, the guys would tease the hell out of Sheldon if he has sex....I mean after being shocked have to death of course. LOL.

Yeah--in the Herb Garden episode, Leonard said something like, "Yes you do, you dog!" to Sheldon referencing Sheldon supposedly getting it on with Amy.

I'm sure if it finally really happened the girls would be full of questions and the guys would be teasing Sheldon for finally putting his fully functional bits and pieces to work. :icon_twisted:

His my gentials are functional and aesthetically pleasing was the best.

My question is, what is his evidence that this is true? Functional in what sense? Aesthetically pleasing according to whom?

As a scientist, I would think that he would need empirical evidence. ;P

Eventually, yes. This would be the end game for Sheldon and Amy. I don't see it happening for a long time though, maybe not until the last year of the series.

Question. In the pilot on my DVD, there's that scene at the sperm bank where Leonard and Sheldon are apparently planning to donate their goods. Leonard makes a remark that Sheldon's somewhat of an expert in this matter. ;) But whenever I see a rerun, that scene is cut out and it begins with them on the stairs, then meeting Penny for the first time. Was that scene ever aired? Did they cut it so as to keep Sheldon asexual or is it just a consequence of needing to cram more commercials in for the syndicated rerun? It seems like there were more masturbation jokes early on but then they went with a more Sheldon-as-nonsexual thing.

I think it's for more commercials' sake. Since they did not cut it in the DVDs, then they are not thinking of keeping him asexual. You know what's interesting? Is that I keep on seeing the same question asked by different people from different places, meaning that it REALLY DOES matter if it's related to the Shamy's situation or that it's not even to be considered at all.

Sheldon in the pilot is kind of different from Sheldon as we see him even in the second episode. In the pilot he seems to be trying to impress Penny with his whiteboard equations. When she asks if he's one of those "Beautiful Mind" kind of guys, the way he says yes looks very flirty to me. He's still awkward and inappropriate, but seems a little less aloof than we see him in subsequent episodes.

I was surprised to see that initial conversation in the sperm bank. It seems to me that the Sheldon we have seen since would never resort to such activities, for want of a better word.

Yeah, I totally picked up on that too. He was trying to impress Penny and definitely had that flirty, "thats-right-I'm-the-shit" look on his face. LOL!

Clearly, the writers weren't 100% sure where they were going with him yet. He didn't even knock three times in the beginning of the show either.

The sperm bank scene is practically an exact copy from the original, rejected, pilot. It has been acknowledged by the creative minds that Sheldon was a work in progress in the early episodes.

I found the original pilot online and though it had a much more worldly tone to it, I did love when Leonard told Sheldon something like, "You can use whatever scientific terms you want, but just face it--you're an ass-man!"

I wonder if the current Sheldon is still an ass-man... :icon_twisted:
