Daff
Just got around to watching this episode and I have to say, it was one of the worst of the series, if not, the worst. While in the last two episodes, I enjoyed the emphasis on how Sheldon differs from the rest of the group and how the rest of the group is aware of the differences, this episode really sort of segregated him from them and I didn't like it. I also fear next weeks episode will only worsen the situation, with it creating another Sheldon vs. Everyone Else scenario. The line in this weeks episode "Well... we liked Leonard" I found was a dangerous one as far as the group dynamic is concerned. In past episodes we saw them all interacting and having fun with eachother, playing Halo/WoW (even though Sheldon betrayed them, it was still a group activity), but now it really seems to be Sheldon vs. The Group. I think they're going down the wrong path with this. Does anyone agree?
Red Phoenix
Yeah, it wasn't the greatest episode so far. The ratings for The Jerusalem Duality weren't particularly great either.

I don't think it will be a permanent thing, I think that in this episode they were just trying to show how annoying Sheldon can be. At the end of the episode everything was back to normal when they were all in the park together playing with their rockets.

I think they're going down the wrong path with this. Does anyone agree? The story lines and jokes are becoming less sophisticated and witty and more juvenile which concerns and disappoints me (the previous episode where Sheldon had a cold was practically all snot jokes). What struck me about this episode was that I saw it as possibly a transition for Sheldon where he starts realizing how and how not to interact with people, although we did get a snapshot of how he feels about relationships at the end where he describes human contact as being very undesirable. How did he get to feel this way? Why is his ego so fragile? Will he start changing? I guess we'll just have to wait and see how the writers develop him. Sherminator
I really love this episode because of the Nuevo Jerusalem jokes in it. 'We'll put out a spread, make it nice!' although I am a genuine christian, I have never understood other believer's obsession about Jerusalem. I mean in reality the place is stifflingly hot, stinks like armpit, and full of pickpockets and beggars... Really, a new Jerusalem in the middle of mexican desert would be a lot better place for the tourists too! -especially as it would be near fast food restaurants and drug stores! wannamaker
I watched the rerum last night and really what Sheldon is capable of doing is out of this world :D When things get too hot on competition for his string theory project... Sheldon starts working on a new project of building a New Jerusalem to resolve the middle East crisis! (So I wish that would be enough to solve the problem) How absurd can it be to uproot and transfer the Jews from the Holy Land " just like that" in his thoughts :o I'd have never guessed.
