I'm trying to get fit myself but Jim's on it! he's in great shape. Although that woman...! I can imagine her naked (not in a dirty way) and it's not a nice view. Convict13 Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 I find Jim's change in fortune very interesting, here he was about 6/7 years ago relatively unknown, unless of course you watched Judging Amy, but then again he just had a small role in that anyway. He has mentioned that he once lived in such a run-down place that it snowed in the bathroom. So he get's the role of the Genius Geek that forever changed his life. The NY that he lives in now is a very different NY than he left those years ago, this guy walked the streets and used the subways of NY and most people would never have paid any attention to him all those years ago, now he has legions of fans (myself included) that pay a lot of attention to him. I mean he must have thought about what fame would be like all those years ago, I wonder if wishes he could go back to being the Jim Parsons that nobody knew? It would be early next year I believe that they would get the option for more seasons, so I expect we will find out then. I suspect he may well do another season if the money is good, he is very concerned about his "retirement" years and making sure he has enough money. Jim is 40 and being prudent and not caught up in his ego from all the well-deserved success,he knows he could bank the money & do theater for the rest of his life. Mayim has 2 children and is sensible. I'm a born & bred New Yorker, we leave movies & tv stars alone; they have a lot of privacy in New York, so for Jim it's probably about being able to enjoy going to places maybe he couldn't previously afford.
