Bazinga91 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Run in! Great! :D In CBS press release: “When people would ask us who a ‘dream guest star’ for the show would be, we would always joke and say Stephen Hawking,†executive producer Bill Prady said in a statement, “knowing that it was a long shot of astronomical proportions. In fact, we’re not exactly sure how we got him. It’s the kind of mystery that could only be understood by, say, a Stephen Hawking.†

CarlLMartin Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 The Saturday Wall Street Journal has an interesting essay on Stephen Hawking. The description of his current work sounds EXACTLY like a Big Bang Theory script premise. I can see all the boys participating in the investigation (except Howard who is fixing the wheel chair). And his visit to Caltech would make a guest appearance possible. The first few paragraphs read: Stephen Hawking is 73 years old and increasingly weakened by the ravages of motor neuron disease. But the famous physicist shows scant signs of slowing down on any front—as celebrity scientist, jobbing cosmologist or all-round kidder. He recently returned home to Cambridge, England, after a three-week trip to a research institute in Spain’s Canary Islands. An illness forced him to postpone a BBC lecture series, but in February, he still plans to travel to the U.S. to spend a few months at the California Institute of Technology. But arguably his biggest project—one that he hopes will gild his legacy—is a scientific one: solving a mind-bending cosmological puzzle known as the “information paradox.”
No Regrets Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Just watched an interview with Kevin Costner where he said that he got a call from Hawking, saying he wanted to meet him. So Hawking came to his house and it turned out he wanted to know what Whitney Houston was like during "The Bodyguard". After Costner answered all his questions, Hawking said he was gonna go dancing. LOL! Crazy story.
