Raj can be as gay as he wants as far as I'm concerned. I just want to see him sober when he talks.

Even if he turns out to be gay he'd still need a drink to talk to the girls.

On a sidenote it's going to be a loooooooong summer the season finale is may 10th(not sure why so early) and season 6 will probably return late September, which equals almost 5 months I'm not sure why they need such a long break, why couldn't it end late may and return early September.

I don't think raj will turn out to be gay I see either he overcomes his mutism which has gone on long enough or finds a woman that he can talk to with the need for alchol.

Maybe the long break is for Jim. Have you seen his schedule this summer for Harvey? He is going to be very busy.

Well jim's first priority is the show not on broadway, Kaley and Johnny have done movies in the past and didn't need this kind of time off if this is the reason.

After tomorrow's show, there's only three more left this season. I guess that's why it's finishing early May. :icon_cry:

Well it seems they jammed the episodes to much together and not spread them out like they have done in the past.

Guest I'm not dead Cheryl

Except this one will be the earliest they've done, the 10th seems early to finish season.

remember that they premiered the season with 2 new episodes.. and they didn't have as many breaks as last season. it does make complete sense

Yeah I remember them starting the season of with two episodes, I did enjoy it but I wouldn't say they didn't have many breaks they just didn't spread out the season.

I don't think Jim Parson's Broadway schedule would make any difference, as the last episode will be filmed on April 17th.

The network could have chosen to space the episodes out throughout the whole season so that they lasted longer in May without changing the actual filming schedule, (which, I assume, would have been discussed with Jim's agent before the Harvey role was accepted last year).

Bernadette's line of "metro sexual my a**" has me wondering if they are going to have the Raj character going in a new direction. I don't think so but the line has me wondering. I think that it is much more likely that they have him find a girl who for some reason he is able to talk to without alcohol.

At the taping, that wasn't the first quote they used. "Metrosexual my ass" was used last minute; didn't seem like it was serious enough to mean anything, it just sounded better than what they had used just before it.

That makes sense. That comment does sound like its been tacked on, it's a little caustic.

It's pretty funny how they changed Bernadette's line at the last minute and we spend an afternoon discussion the implications to Raj. :icon_lol:

It makes me wonder how many things we've ever discussed at such a magnitude that didn't really mean anything... lol.

I'd like to say this episode was reallly great and funny ..I rated " very good" ...I found so many things to laugh..

When Sheldon opened his toy and were playing with it , his facial acts were really funny . (I'm gonna do it , I'm doing it , i did it ,... energizeeee:)))

I think this was one of the best episodes for this season ...I love Star Trek ...I 'm a huge fan ..It was exciting to hear Leonar Nimoy 's voice on the show..

And Raj's father made me laugh to...and also I don't think Raj is metrosexual or gay ...And I don't understand why people thinks about him like that...He wants to meet someone who really understand him ..Because you know his culture and his tradition are really different ..And it causes so many times difficulties when he is dating someone...any way...in the end i like this episode..:)

It seems to me that because he can't talk to a girl without the use of alcohol it indicates that he is not gay. Just a thought.

Well raj is at least metrosexual normally when a guy that's straight and likes somethings that girls like or is a little femine he's a metrosexual and has nothing to do with cultures.

Very funny episode! And also very sweet...

Raj was so vulnerable and lonely, even ready to commit to a fake marriage just not to be alone anymore... It was sweet and sad.

I'm afraid if Raj doesn't learn soon to talk to girls, his parents and friends might push him towards guys with their suggestive comments, LOL.

Sheldon was very sweet too. This was not the first episode when Sheldon's conscience was tormented by something bad he's done, but it may have been one of the first when Sheldon fully ackowledged to himself and to others his fault. That's progress.

I hope you're joking about raj being pushed into being gay, that's not really something you do unless he really is swinging that way.

That's what the LOL was for. :icon_cheesygrin:

Although, I think it would make for a funny detour for Raj to try dating a guy. No drinking necessary for conversation, parents and friends can say "I told you so", it's a match made in haven.

For the record, I think he's straight. He's too attracted to Bernadette not to be.

Yeah and for a guy who can't talk to girls he does far too well. I can think of three instances where he's pulled. At Penny's party, at the bar with the bigger lady and when he and Sheldon went out with the 'Green Lantern' lantern. That doesn't even count Penny. If he does start talking to girls, he might end up being what Sheldon would call 'a chick magnet'

Horrible

Thank goodness a show like Community can hold on to its slot to compete with the slop this show has become.

It's clear David Goetsch, Lee Aronshon and Richard Rosenstock were the good writers, although the episodes that were average this season had Erick Kaplan on the teleplay.

Maria Ferreri and Jim Reynolds need to go away

I also see that this site has become 80% women, while the 'other' board is 99% women showing exactly what they wanted to do with this cash cow...start off truly geeky, get the internet a buzz, keep on saying geek is the new sexy and pull in the golden goose of TV show demographics. slightly overweight average middle aged women who made crap like friends, glee, american idol and watching celebrities dance big money winners. Not to take anything away from that demographic, as average fat guys watch Family Guy...a horrible show IMHO.

Both Lorre and Prady are smart, and all they had to sacrifice is the hope of geeky men who had hope for a show of their own to put us in a better light, which it did the 1st 3 seasons...then it started making fun of us for cheap laughs, therefore we retreated back to internet meme and internet podcasts/videos where we can find humor.

Imapotato, Friends was/is and never is crap if you need a show to make yourself feel better about yourself then I feel sorry for you, let's see what community is without Chevy quiting it probably does okay with being up against the top comedy. I don't see the show making fun of nerds or anything or anyone else for cheap laughs, but if you feel that way and are that offended then don't watch, I'm not sure where you're getting you're demos from and you said the first three seasons but nerds in good light or whatever but then you go and say how most people that watch this now are middle age fat women, how is that not offensive? I'm not a woman, middle age or fat but it seems your remark was for laughs.

Yeah, it's that poor demographic that ruined the show for the smarty pants - the brainless lollypop guild, or fat middle-aged women, or just stupid hormonal girls, you take your pick, it's THEIR fault... :icon_lol:

I think it's just penis envy, but not the kind where girls supposedly envy men. No, this is a new kind of penis envy created in the age of TV sitcoms - the disgruntled viewers are getting envious of TV nerds getting some, while those watching at home have no hope. Hence all the barbs at girls and women and lamentations about the show's blooming relationships. :icon_lol:

Yeah because the reason the show is popular now is because the smart people aren't watching anymore.(sarcasm). Or it's all middle age fat women, the trolls are trolling again. I agree somewhat of the second paragraph, did anyone think that season 5 would still be like season 1? I'd hope not, at somepoint all the guys either at the sametime have girlfriends or would have girlfriends at one point.

Guest I'm not dead Cheryl

I always hated friends, glee, american idol and watching celebrities dance big money winners and I still love the show.

I'm not overweight and I am a nerd and I still love the show. BTW, generalizations are dumb.

All this name calling and bitterness over the show changes is kinda pathetic. If you hate it so much don't watch it, no one forces you. It is actually kinda funny tthat some people think the writers and creators of the show owe them something LOL. It's hilarious! some people need a reality check.

I keep reading all the bitterness with a lot of words but the only thing I seem to get is "I don't have a girlfriend so I don't want the characters on the show to have one" or "i don't like change, i don't like change, i don't like change (rocking on a corner)".

Whateavs, I just find it funny that people spend time getting to the internet to whine and complain because a show is not doing what they want to see.
