What games are you playing right now?

I can't be egged on... That's something for the fanboy types, which I am not. As I've said, I have all the current consoles, and I call each one exactly as I see it. That said, if you can't see the difference from the PSone through PS3 controllers to the PS4 controller, you're obviously not up to this discussion.

Great news from Nintendo:

Grand Theft Lego is Nintendo only!!!

It's coming to WiiU this month! And I hope they make one for DS too...

The game looks gorgeous!!! It's like GTA but with legos!

Also, Nintedo are making HD version of Wind Waker for WiiU!

So, those two games will no doubt sell truckloads of WiiU:s

Way to go, nintendo!

Still, that WiiU controller looks rather uncomfortable...

-But at least it's totally different than Wii contoller, which is more than can be said about PS controllers!!! :icon_razz:

HD Kingdom Hearts on way too for anyone interested.

Finished Metal Gear Rising. OMG slicey goodness. Unbelieveably awesome game.

Working through the Uncharted trilogy now whilst I wait for my copy of Tomb Raider to arrive.

Curiosity also got the better of me and I've ordered One Piece Pirate Warriors.

Sony hasn't majorly redesigned the Playstation controller because Playstation players like it. That said, the PS4 controller has incorporated new functions and has been somewhat altered from previous models, with the most welcome change being the redesigned triggers. Nintendo had to change their primary controller, as the whole motion control thing fizzled quickly. That said, the Wiimote & Nunchuck are still used on the Wii U. If current rumors hold true, the next Xbox will require use of the updated Kinect. That'll go over with gamers about as well as a bacon, egg & cheese on a buttered hard roll would go over in a vegan-colony. That said, the Xbox controller hasn't changed much over the years either. It still has the same basic layout that it always did. Microsoft just softened the shape, moved the renamed "black" & "white" buttons to the center and got rid of that big, ugly, useless "jewel".

Finally got my PS3 online this week.

Question regarding PSN.. is all DLC region specific?

My example is that I ordered a copy of "One Piece Pirate Warriors" from Hong Kong. It's the Asian release.

I'm signed into PSN from Australia. Is this why the DLC code isn't registering?

Thanks in advance :)

I think you can download an update to your PS3 that allows you to play pretty much anything on it. Of course, such update would be unofficial, and might fry your machine...

Now playing Syndicate on x360

-It's a pretty good futuristic shooter with some hacking added for a good spice.

It's not Deus Ex, but it's still quite entertaining for a shootem up.

Now replaying Saints Row 2. Old, but still very much fun.

Also got Saboteur from gamestop, about five minutes ago! It's about French Resistance. Might be fun game. At least the setting is historic, and not futuristic...

As for StarCraft, isn't it one of those massive online multiplayer thingys?

I don't think it's a requirement. Looks like it's something that either is or isn't compatible with certain softwares so you either play normally or use the headset. The VR would be a pretty big advantage with games like Black Ops.

Playing "One Piece: Pirate Warriors"

Have never watched the anime, but the game is a bit of a history lesson about the series up to a certain story point.

Surprisingly hilarious game. Makes me want to check out the tv series.

Saboteur has turned out to be brilliant game

Like GTA and assassins creed rolled into one and put onto the war torn Paris!

Huge, great looking town, and plenty do to.

Recommended for everyone who like GTA or SAits Riow games!

Blowing up nazi super rockets and mega cannons is great fun! Not to mention shootign at zeppelins with hijacked AA guns, and seeing them go down in flames!!!

  • 2 weeks later...

Ploughing through Tales Of Graces F whilst waiting for my copy of Bioshock Infinite to arrive in the mail.

Not a huge fan, but check out the trailer/game footage for Battlefield 4.  OMG... awesome stuff.  Listen especially to the "ping" of the machine gun during the helicopter section.  Great sound.
