Anomaly Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 I am rewatching Friends at the moment, is the only one who can come close to TBBT. TBBT has become Friends. I didn't like Friends and I don't like what TBBT has become.
Grasshopper Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I'm not going to get into listing all my favorite sitcoms of the past because I did that in another thread if it's still on this board. What I will say is that I have started getting into some of the newer sitcoms lately and catching up on several older ones that I haven't seen before. Right now, rising high on the list is Anger Management. I never thought I cared to much for Charlie Sheen and I have hardly watched any of Two and a Half Men yet. Tonight's episode guest starring Lindsey Lohan as herself was EPIC. She is the perfect part for this type of show.
Tensor Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I never liked "Friends", I couldn't relate to the characters in the show. I love TBBT as I can relate this show's concept, it's characters, and those character's interactions as being fairly close to my life. Puppy Chow Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Frasier is my fave of all time. DHP is a god. Home Improvement The Nanny Golden Girls I watched most of them after they originally aired. TBBT is the only sitcom that I watch religiously now. I DVR Modern Family, Parks and Recs, The Office, New Girl and watch them when I have spare time. 3ku11 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Oh yes... Ones that didn't sell out & turn into pop cotton-candy a few seasons in. Sell out? Please its called expanding your show and appealing to a mainstream audience, I'm sorry you feel that way about the show now, but considering the ratings I well dare say their are millions around the world who still love watching the show. Saying it sold out is an opinion not fact, and your perfectly entitled to it, but it reaks oh TBBT conformed not watching this anymore, IMO the show diddn't conform it got better but thats just me, sitcoms are all about watching the characters grow and thats exactly what TBBT did.
