Bazinga girl Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 You may have heard about it on BTT, it's really great. Really worth watching
netmouse Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Go back and watch the early series with Tom Baker for some classic, super-dooper Doctor Who.

Guest I'm not dead Cheryl Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 I love Doctor Who, both the classic and the new ones. Also, Steven Moffat is a genius (and a troll). I love him (and hate him)
Bazinga girl Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Go back and watch the early series with Tom Baker for some classic, super-dooper Doctor Who. Yeah, I've seen a few with Tom Banker but I still prefer the new version (especially the David Tennant seasons)
netmouse Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 I loved that Tom Baker's Doctor always carried around a paper bag full of jelly babies. Quirky
walnutcowboy Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 I've asked elsewhere but maybe someone can answer here. What is the name of the episode where the Dr. and Rose appeared at the 2012 olympics I think it was something like FEAR THE GIRL. I can't find it on my reruns. Thanks in advance. Moonbase Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 (edited) I'm glad they had the angels were on their final show, they are such scary creatures and give it real grit. It's sad that Amy and Rory's departure had to be so final though. Edited October 1, 2012 by Moonbase

Moonbase Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 (edited) Is anyone else a bit disappointed in the latest Dr Who eps? The new girl Clara is great but Matt seems lack luster. As if he's just going through the motions. Edited April 24, 2013 by Moonbase
walnutcowboy Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 @ MOONBASE, I hate to say it but I agree. I think the episode in the Sub was made just to have/make another episode, but NO REAL meaning. The next one (with the time traveling "ghost") wasn't much better, I never thought of Dr. Who as a wuss until now. I'm not overly caring about Clara either. WHO cares if she's twice dead, get on with the show !

WHO cares if she's twice dead, get on with the show ! Yeah, they are trying to form the bond with the Dr. too quickly. And the hole left behind by Rory and Amy really shows. Amy had a real straight talking Scottish charm and Rory was so good. They have tried to give Clara the same cheekiness as Amy but it's not quite as good yet. And I don't know whats up with Matt, it's like he's getting bored. The way he's been delivering his lines is not what it was. I'm hoping it will pick up again soon. Starting to miss David Tennant. wannamaker Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 (edited) Yeah, I've seen a few with Tom Banker but I still prefer the new version (especially the David Tennant seasons) Me too! (especially the ones with Catherine Tate) (Lately I do not watch it as much as I used to) Edited April 25, 2013 by wannamaker
walnutcowboy Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Last Saturday was yet ANOTHER disappointment. I'm starting to think FEWER shows MIGHT be better after all. I'd rather have only a few GOOD episodes than 8 BAD ones. I hope "THEY" improve SOON !!

Miss Kitka Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 It's strange how many times Dr Who ends up in England... Well he was dumped there when the Time Lords discovered he wouldn't do what they wanted - which was, I think, regenerate. In the end, I think the Doctor liked England quite a lot. walnutcowboy Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I DID like the episode last nights episode. But I wonder if it's because The DOCTOR couldn't talk for part of the episode (LOL).

Miss Kitka Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I think I must be the only one who has liked all the episodes so far. Either that, or I'm just easy to please.
