Kaley & Johnny relationship

Did their relationship shock you? It did me, personally I think looks wise kaley can do alot better, I know it's not all about looks but I wouldn't of thought he would have been her type.

Johnny's actually very manly. I think manly would seem to be Kaley's type. Lol.

Anyhow, I think they made a nice couple, but I like Johnny's current girlfriend better. Johnny & Kelli make one of the cutest couples I've ever seen. They should just get married already and make smart & beautiful babies

Johnny is very good at playing up Leonard's nerdiness but he's quite handsome in reality. Kaley is by no means out of his league.

Kind of, because I don't see them two as a match on the show or off it. But at the same time it's not that surprising because they do spend a lot of time together and if they were both single it's not unthinkable that a relationship could develop.

I am surprised that their breakup didn't have an adverse effect on the show and the atmosphere on set. Unless it did at the time of their split and now they have moved on or they are just professionals and got on with their work.

Good looking Girls get hit on all the time. Not unlike Zack the handsome Guys aren't always smart or have great Personalities. Work relationships are not unusual because of all the time they spend together. There is a lot of comfort with people who share common interests or professions etc.

I realize Penny is not Kaley and Johnny is not Leonard in real life. But because of their characters, I want to them together in real life. I think the Leonard//Penny attractions is what helps to keep the show both together and funny. I agree their characters are not a great match and that helps with the humor.

Well from all the videos I've watched online of the two of them it seems to me that Kaley and Johnny still get along really well on and off set and I'm glad their break up had no adverse effects on the show or their characters. Because all though its normal for coworkers to form bonds outside of work, it should still remain professional on set otherwise its a bad idea.

I watch so many shows where the actors behind the scenes start hooking up with each other. In fact my favorite non BBT actor met his wife on set and they just had a baby in March . I think its pretty common for tv actors to meet this way since they spend so much time together on sets filming. I think its also smart that Johnny and Kaley kept it private since its nobody's business, but theres and sometimes we fans can be really nosy when we find out two stars of a show are dating each other in real life. In real life Johnny and Kaley are both very attractive people imo and their characters are both less attractive so it works lol

When actors start dating each other its like all of sudden the characters relationship become real and it can be hard to seperate out the personas on tv from their real life personality and problems until you get to know the actors better. But, I've never thought Kaley and Johnny are Leonard and Penny. Just like I never thought Johnny and Sara were David and Darlene. Thats why I like watching actors give real interviews you get to see that their very different from their characters in a lot of ways.

And Jim despite his adorable awkwardness is definitely NOT sheldon. I get so annoyed when i see fans online saying Sheldon is gay, I'm like NO! Jim is gay, sheldon is straight he's not even asexual anymore like many thought he was because he's with Amy now and chose to be with her so he definitely a hetrosexual male and Jim plays him that way and does a fantastic job at it. I personally never thought Sheldon was gay watching the show, but I always just assumed Jim was after watching his first interview with him on craig ferguson show. I thought he might be gay and I googled him right after and turned out I was right.

I think its great that Kaley and Johnny have moved on and I hope they all are happy in their new relationships, but I read recently Kaley broke it off with her fiance' so I guessing she's single again or is she already with someone else? Opps sorry I'm being nosy again lol

Last night for the first time I read in the net about TBBT actors and their real lifes. It was a BIG, BIG suprise when I learned that "Penny" and "Leonard" had real relationships. And it was sad. I have an impression that Kaley was not smart enough or was too loud for him. He did not want to be seen in public with "beautiful but stupid little girl" (she is younger). Thats why the secrets. Am I wrong? He is not hiding his current girlfriend...

I think now it will be a bit sad to whach the show, because I was a fan of Leonard's and Penny's relationships. Now it is spoiled in some way.

That sounds kind of silly. Really silly actually. First of all, I don't think Johnny is shallow enough to want to "hide" his girlfriend because she isn't as smart. Not to mention, Johnny dropped out of school after 8th grade anyway, so what makes you think he is any smarter? Johnny and Kelli don't work together, but he did work with Kaley, and I think one of the reasons he wanted to keep it on the down low is because the publicity surrounding an onset relationship would be quite a lot. If everyone knew, it would have made it that much harder when they broke up. Also, Johnny is pretty secretive when it comes to his personal life anyway. Which is completely undertsandable.

I believe Kaley said both she and Johnny wanted to keep their relationship under wraps as to not effect the show. Kaley also said that it was very difficult and sad for her to suppress how happy they were.

I think you can definitely see the chemistry they have in the first two seasons as something that carries over to real life, when you re-watch those episodes. I think they'd be cute, but Johnny and Kelli are also cute.

I was shocked when I first heard of it too, but I loved it. I wish they would've stayed together. I agree with Kaley, you shouldn't have to hide in a relationship.

IMO Johnny is the best looking guy on the show. I think that their chemistry off show was brought on to it. Perhap's that's why all, well most/some, of us want Leonard and Penny to be and stay together on the show.

I don't agree with that she's out of her league point. I think some assume that she goes for the muscular bad boy because of her looks. Because she's absolutely gorgeous. I'm not saying she doesn't like the 'bad boy' type, but obviously it's not really her thing.

Johnny may not be complete ab's (not saying that he doesn't have a nice body, 'cause he does) but he's pure sexiness and a very manly guy. I thought that since Roseanne. His persona on the show has few thinking that he's really like that in person.

I'm heartbroken to believe that Kaley and him aren't, and most likely, not getting back together. Oh, well. But I hope Penny/Leonard need to stay together. She need's to say I Love You already. sighs.

It is sort of funny the parrallels between Penny and Leonard and Kaley and Johnny.  Penny and Leonard fall in love, then break up, then stay friends and finally get back together.  Kaley and Johnny fall in love, break up, stay friends and then?????  Makes you wonder.

I think you can still see the chemistry, even if they aren't romantically involved with each other.   I think it cute that among the taping reports, in the spoiler thread, are mentions of Kaley and Johnny whispering to each other in between scenes, them thanking the audiences together, etc.   Even though they may have broken up and are seeing others, they seem to have come out of their romantic relationship with a pretty strong friendship.

I see it both ways. Being kept private would upset people who want everybody to know. I don't necessarily agree that keeping things private is better. So that Kaley should have known better, i don't agree.

 

At the same time, I do see Johnny's point of view. But i don't think either or is right or wrong.

Johnny does have experience in this actor dating thing because he dated his co-star in Rosanne, but Kaley is just learning, so you can see where they would be on different pages. Also she said on a talk show that she falls in love quickly, so it sort of makes sense she would have trouble keeping a secret. I think right now she is all wrapped up in being a big TV star and very popular that it is her main interest right now. I keep thinking of Liz and Richard, in that there was an age difference but they loved each other all their lives and they were on and off all their lives. I'm not saying Kaley and Johnny are Liz and Richard but those two do have a chemistry on and off the stage. I just hope Kaley's fame doesn't turn her into another Ms Spears.

That's the way i was leaning too honestly.  i understand the draw of secrecey but that is no way to live a healthy relationship.  Not being able to touch your significant other in public when you spend so much time in close proximity... its no wonder things went south.

 

I bet if they had been public but professional about it things could have gone a lot better for them.  It's sad too because they really do have great chemistry both on and off the set...
