Can anyone say PREGGY PENNY?

no, Penny can't even take care of herself, much less a baby. I don't think that's the way they're going either-

It happens every day in real life. The way Penny babies THE BOYS I think she might be a good Mommie. But lets hope I'm way out of line thinking that way.

I doubt Penny could go nine months without alcohol.

And how would she support a child and still afford shoes? Oh, that's right! By mooching off Leonard and Sheldon. I seriously hope this doesn't happen.

I think everyone knows my thoughts on this. No real life please, TBBT is escapism and a laugh.

She has shown a "motherhood" to Sheldon in some episodes.

If we left to laugh about it, a baby would become a competition to Sheldon, regarding the care and attention of Leonard and Penny.

Any similarities between Leonard/Penny and Ross/Rachel is what I strongly dislike about Leonard and Penny's relationship, and is what I strongly disliked about Friends. I always fast-forwarded through their scenes together. Two narcissistic mindless nitwits having problems hooking up. Not only boring but distasteful. Those two self-centered twits had no business having children.

Either get Leonard and Penny permanently together or break them apart for good. IMO the Penny character is becoming a drag on the show. Just when it looks like she may be growing up they have her slipping back into being a drunken superficial parasite. Either have her grow up or have her leave the show. Have her hookup with the brainless hunk Zack. She deserves him, and Leonard deserves much better then her.

I've watched every episode of the BBT in its 5 seasons. The producers and writers have done a great job in developing the characters and there's no doubt that Leonard and Penny are my favorites. It's now my fervent hope that the "powers that be" continue to positively develop their relationship for the final years of the show. It would be a shame and ridiculous to break Leonard and Penny up again...let the 3rd time in their relationship be "the charm"! Another break-up will turn the show into an unnecessary circus bordering on a "soap". It's a fact that all relationships take work, with bumps along the way, and theirs is no different. Let Leonard's and Penny's relationship develop to the fullest after 5 seasons of ups and downs...breaking them up is starting to get tiring!

Leonard and Penny are now more emotionally involved and care deeply for, actually love, each other. They are growing as a couple and, in the process, as individuals which became more apparent in the 2nd half of season 5. Leonard is a true, loyal friend of the group along with being its leader and exerting a calming influence, when needed. He's been unbelievable, along with Penny, in dealing with Sheldon's idiosyncracies which enables Sheldon to operate better in the everyday real world. Leonard and Penny are both most caring individuals and deserve to be together. This caring, especially in serving as surrogate parents at times for Sheldon, is also preparing them for marriage and parenthood. I'd love to see Leonard/Penny and Sheldon/Amy as engaged couples and in marriages bringing up children. That would be most interesting and a fitting way to eventually end the show.

One thing that has bothered me a bit is that I feel that the writers have at times picked on, or made, Leonard come across unnecessarily as the scapegoat in some episodes. Other than that, I'm a senior citizen who loves the show and who roots for Leonard's and Penny's relationship to blossom to a happy ending beginning in Season 6!
